“Love love love the ice cream and soda at Glennburn. Been here several times now and their ice cream is ALWAYS solid. Whenever I visit Vancouver- Burnaby area this is one of the spots that I must visit. Recently tried the FOG & the fruity loop flavored sodas with vanilla ice cream on the side. Would highly recommended!“

“Came for the plants and stayed for the breakfast! Most excellent Eggs Benedict and the garden seating area was delightful.“

“Had the raspberry and strawberry prostate. It was amazing. We bought a strawberry, apple, rhubarb crisp pie.. it was very good. They are expensive but the pie was much heavier than I expected as in it had more mass. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good home made by your loving grandma pie.“

“Tried this place today for take out and I am satisfied—every thing in my bowl is fresh and not overly seasoned; just the right taste! Price is also reasonable: $14 ish for two proteins. The young guy (probably a college student) who served me was pleasant and cheerful (yes I can tell despite he was wearing a mask). I am impressed by his professionalism because at this kind of take away place, or food court, the staff are usually expressionless/robotic as if they are forced to do the most boring job on earth. “This is my go to pub/place to have an event with friends. I have been going here for years and I absolutely love it. The last few times I have gone however, it feels off or weird. The older bald bouncer guy is kinda rude and kept my friends waiting at the entrance for over 30 minutes, until I arrive and pointed out clearly free tables. It was almost like a weird power trip over these girls who were there to celebrate a birthday. I also had a previous experience with an incredibly rude manager. Other than that the rest of the staff is absolutely amazing and always contributes to us having an amazing time. Some staff need to chill out a bit though, because they change the energy of an otherwise amazing place. The food is great for pub food and the drinks are great. Whenever I get the bill I'm always shocked how affordable it is compared to other bars (which I love). Overall good place with mostly amazing staff.“

“I went with friends for a birthday dinner. The food was great, and the restaurant has a classy feel. Our servers, Rachael and Ritish were very warm and genuine. They presented the birthday girl with a delicious lava cake(looked beautiful on the plate)and sang happy birthday 🙂“

“While there’s a lot to like about this Starbs, this morning they were pumping Toxic by Britney Spears and while I agree it’s a hot jam, 5am is not the time for Queen B. I used to take my book with me in the morning with the hope that I could do some reading, but sadly who’s ever choosing the music is still in clubbing mode from the night before on most mornings which doesn’t really set the mood. Missing the old jazz and indie playlists in general from Starbs which were incredibly curated and surprisingly erudite.“

“Okay, I am a regular customer for years which is why I have 5 stars. And I love the Great Bear, it’s my favourite spot (kind of like the show Cheers) but I must let the owner know that the change in food has been terrible. I went the other day and was so disappointed that they changed the fries and crispy chicken burger. I brought a friend who had never been there before and I was raving about the food, and to my disappointment they changed the fries to the same you get at Costco. I understand maybe you’re trying to cut costs or make things easier for the kitchen staff but please please bring the old fries back!!!!“

“Had passed by 101 Boba before, but was finally introduced to their drinks after winning a gift card. Shoutout to @sadpenguinfoods on Instagram! We had a large Mango Smoothie (with coconut jelly) and a large Roasted Tea Latte with Grass Jelly. Both were refreshing and were August specials! The Mango Smoothie had a small layer of milk foam as well, and while you couldn't adjust sugar and ice levels, it had a good level of sweetness. The cup sizes were a fair size as well for the regular price.

We found the staff to be very friendly and the wait wasn't too long for our drinks. Convenient location beside T&T and near the parkade entrance! Looking forward to returning for my bubble tea fix! Like most bubble tea chains, they also have limited edition drinks and rotating monthly specials at 20% off.“

“DO NOT COME HERE unless you want to support a cheap company. I work for Door Dash and just finished completing a merchant order from there. I carried 10 heavy boxes of spring rolls to their store on L2 Brentwood Mall. $200 worth of food and $0 tips from them. This is a disgrace and I will never take an order from Will H again at this store. If I can go lower than 1 star I would but Google forces me to give 1. Embarrassing to have restaurants like these exist.“

“Fun and unique hot pot establishment on Kingsway. Good value and tasty, with quality ingredients.

One caveat is that this place TRULY embraces the idea that your pot better be hot and STAY hot... there is no dial to change or turn off the heat on the heating element below your bowl so you're in for it once its lit.

That said, some welcome comfort food for the winter, and the portions are quite big. Recommend going for the double meat as it still runs you under $30 with tip which is good value in this day and age.
