“Upon entering, they have a number system, make sure you grab a number.
The staff here is very very polite and friendly. Our server even asked us if it's our first time here, and what she would recommend. The lunch combos come with a complementry drink. Our drinks were delicious. We didn't drink the majority of it because we didn't want to fill ourselves up before our hotpot.

My friend got the Korean hot pot. It is nicely spiced, exceeds generous in portion and she said she would order this again.
She didn't realize that the hot pot had ramen noodles inside it. This combo comes with a side of rice too. I got the seafood and tofu hot pot. I also didn't realize that it had vermecelli noodles in it, and my combo came with a complementry choice of vermecelli noodles or rice. Word of caution, ask the server if the hotpot has any noodles inside it first, before choosing your complementary side. Also come hungry because it's a whole lot of food. We ended up taking our free beverages with us back to the dog park. It was perfect, no complaints.

Our meals were delicious. My friend loved how they refill our hotpot with broth, and not water. It's a pet peeve we got lol. If your hot pot gets too hot you can ask the server to put out the flame.
Would we come back? Based upon our own experience, we had a great lunch here. So yes.“

“This is a great place. It’s one of those eateries on the North Shore that is a must visit. Menu is not elaborate but that’s why this place works. They do what they do really well. The cost is also very reasonable. Apparently they have been around for 4 yrs. I spoke to who I believe was the owner and he was super nice as well. Would definitely recommend.“

“This was the first place we came to check out when we arrived in BC for a vacation and it was the one I looked forward to the most because of the name and what it stands for, Animals Matter. Damn rights they do! I love the concept and clearly it's really popular, the place was full and people were coming and going nonstop throughout our stay there. I had an issue tasting the bacon that got drowned out by the rest of the food on my croissant, but the staff are amazing and asked if they could remake it for me. I didn't want a whole new second sandwich, I felt that was too much so I just asked for some bacon on the side so I could actually taste it. So I left happy after that.“

“Staff is super friendly, food tastes fresh and very delicious. Hands down one of the better Mexican food chains out there. I enjoyed there chicken burrito and my kids downed there quesadillas almost instantly. There veggie tofu is also very delicious along with their sauces. We will definitely be going back!“

Got the NikuToji. The broth had a balanced flavour that wasn’t over- or under-powering. The beef brisket was extremely tender and rich, and the portion was generous!
Seating and decor is comfy and they have seating for singles or small groups.
I opted to go for their most popular traditional udon, but I’ll definitely be back to try their specialty udons!“

I initially worried it wouldn’t be filling, but it proved satisfying. The fried chicken was exceptionally juicy and tender. I highly recommend this restaurant—the current rating doesn’t reflect its quality. It deserves to be closer to a perfect five. Give it a try; you won’t regret it.“

“Excellent dishes. We were a table of 10 with no reservation, but when arrived there were only 6 other diners. Very long time to have our order taken (too few staff perhaps🤷🏼‍♂️). But excellent dishes from spicy beef noodle soup and beef tendon to tofu and crispy chicken.“

“This location has no line up and not crowded at all unlike the metrotown location. Always love the vibe of having BP with friends and family especially after hiking or snowboarding. The best comfort and warm food you can get around that area after dark.“
