Owner and all staff were really kind and nice and the service was quick. You can also see that the kitchen is super clean and neat. I tried most of Korean chicken joints in the Lower Mainland, and I have to say this one is by far the best. Light crispy batter and juicy chicken. Portion size is great, the flavour is fantastic, cooked to perfection. Their burgers are (very classic) also really good with great tasting patties and soft buns. I am sad. This place is not very close to my home but it's probably a good thing as I would come too often. I wish there was specifically a bin for recycling the aluminum foil, because I know the blue recycling bin/box collects them; some recycling stations are only after bottles and cans. I like that some of the food here gets served in paper boxes, rather than plastic. Unfortunately, a single-use cup had to be soiled to create the shape of the bap burger, by pressing rice into the cup. They play K-pop inside!“

“Seen many Korean street side chicken places on You Tube. Decided to give this a try for the first time . Went to the location on Canada Way. Ordered the family Sweet Soy Chicken & Fries Took awhile to prepare the food (15 mins) No wonder ,huge amount of chicken box was packed full. Large pieces very flavorful, not greasy at all like Churches grease feast j chicken . Fries were amazing .I found a new go to place to buy chicken for a game . A tad pricey, buy I assure you very well worth the money . If this place franchises, they will give KFC & Churches very serious condition . My first time there , highly impressed. I highly recommended you try this. Will not be disappointed. Very pleasant staff. Simple decor, but the service & food will amaze you . Thank you so very much for an amazing meal. “It had been a while since I last had Pelicana Chicken, and I have to say — it was really good. My wife loved it too, which is always a win.

I also do Uber Eats deliveries, and I’ve picked up orders from the Lougheed location multiple times. The staff are consistently friendly, and the place genuinely feels like a family-run business. The atmosphere and vibe are always energetic and positive.

However, I want to share one concern from a recent delivery experience. Last Thursday late night, I picked up an order and drove carefully, but during the ride (about 25 km), the sauce leaked from the box. By the time I reached the customer, the cloth delivery bag was soaked in sticky liquid, my car got messy, and it was very difficult to clean. It was also quite embarrassing to hand over a package in that condition, even though it wasn’t due to careless driving.

This was an unpleasant experience, and I’m sure other delivery drivers may have faced similar issues. I genuinely believe improving the packaging, especially for saucy items, would make a big difference — because the food itself is great and clearly loved by customers.

Overall, great taste, great staff, and great energy — just needs better packaging for delivery orders to match the quality of the food.“

“Came in for a quick lunch. Ample strip mall parking. Clean booth seats for eat-in customers. We were served complimentary hot broth with our food orders. Recommend the spicy kimchi and pork kimbap, and tuna kimbap. Ideal for takeout or a quick bite. Do not expect restaurant ambiance or service. Self-service food tray cleanup.“

“Great place for traditional Korean dishes. The soups and stews are a highlight, especially the sundubu, Ddaro Gukbap, and Galbi-tang as my favourites. My wife enjoys the naengmyeon, mandu and soondae. I also really enjoy the gamja-tang, but I wish that they offered that in a personal size in addition to the other sizes which are for multiple people.“

“Ajuker chicken was a place a came only because it was one of the only places available at 1am and later. However it was just somewhat okay before. The new and upgraded Ajuker is actually exponentially better than previous, good chill vibes, chilled glasses for beers and the quality of chicken has improved. Would recommend to anyone looking for a slightly later night.“

“Oolala Chicken is way better when you dine in rather than getting takeout or delivery.

I tried the new Machoking flavor (BHC-style Machoking), and it was so good I literally scraped the sauce clean. It officially became my new favourite!! I used to love the mala flavour, but this one took its place.

Sometimes there can be a slight smell with chicken, but ordering strong-flavored options like mala or Machoking really covers it well and makes it much better overall.
Highly recommend dining in for the best experience.“

Love the food. We try soup #2 and #9' also fried chicken. Soup so hot and fresh. 4 seasoning ingredients on the side in containers so we can seasoned our soup to our liking.
Soups were loaded with so much ingredients. Chicken is of good flavour and moist, no thick breading. 3 of us, so full and with left over to take home.

Services are top notched. 2 servers constantly checking on us, providing us with extra bowls, asking if need more refills of side dishes. Always with pleasant smiles.“

As I began to process the fumes of the chicken coming though my nostrils, i immediately fell in love. i savored the fried chicken until the last bite. I know Chicko Chicken’s Yangnyeom chicken is actually pretty close to the traditional sweet-style Yangnyeom, but honestly… the quality really depends on each store.
That’s why I’m so happy I found this good Chicko location!

“I am pleasantly surprised by this place. Good food, fast service, no frills eatery. The salt-pepper popcorn chicken Taiwanese style rice was top 5 out of 5 quality.

Price is also fair, though at $20 per dish almost, the portions are large and yummy. Don’t expect anything fancy but standard and reliable Taiwanese comfort food.

Service is quick and no non-sense. Also, they give the option of 10% tips when checkout. This is a breathing way to allow diners to choose.

Heard that originally the place was Korean-Taiwanese food, operated by a Korean and Taiwanese couple. Then was passed on to a new Taiwanese boss, then now to their 2nd generation. At least that’s what the staff member told me. So they’ve been at this location for long, just with a new style and twist.

“O.m.g. seriously hands down THEE best chicken ever!! It's not greasy (how they do this!?!?) And has the perfect about of seasoning that isn't too sweet (I hate too sweet) nor too salty (I hate salty!!!) Just the right amount, (I hate when it's drenched), I'm SUPERRR picky with my food usually korean chicken when I enjoy it would score a 7 or 8 max, but Chicken Chicken is 9.9/10 !!!
