“I love the Atlas ! every time we’ve been the food is absolutely delicious and unique, and the staff are wonderful. Today we went and didn’t realize it was “all breakfast Sunday”. I had my heart set on clam chowder, with only breakfast food I thought it might not be for me but the waitress was so good we decided to stay and I ended up having the best breakfast Huevos rancheros , it was absolutely delicious .. and I also ordered the wrong type of wine.. well the waitress even changed in the wine for me.. really appreciated her .. thank you Atlas cafe and staff !!”

“Got the Dragon bowl. Got the large for 3 proteins. Replaced the bbq eel with shrimp and then added ahi tuna and salmon. It comes with a ramen egg and tomato egg separately as part of the dish. So 5 protein sources in total. Had red cabbage, carrot, green onion and replaced the tomatoes with cucumber. Got the garlic umami and spicy chojang sauce. Absolutely to die for meal. It's nice to eat something that feels both satisfying and refreshing. Unbelievably delicious.

“We stopped in for lunch and the place was "jumping". Nevertheless, the friendly staff found a great table for us, and our server appeared in no time to take our orders. My wife had the mulligatawny soup, which she found delicious. I ordered the gouda and bacon burger and must say that it's without a doubt the best burger I've had in the Comox Valley. We both really enjoyed our lunch and would have no problem in recommending Rhodos Coffee & Bistro.”

“Went today for the first time since it changed ownership. I had always found it only mediocre before. Today was amazing. The server was amazing…polite, friendly, went above and beyond. Our perogies were delicious and it was the best cabbage roll I’ve ever had (apart from my own mother’s! lol and I’m very picky about cabbage rolls). It was my son’s 12th birthday and all he wanted was perogies and this did not disappoint! We will be back and spreading the word. Thank you so much ❤️”

Atmosphere kind of like a food court...but!
The sushi was amazing!! The variety is not large but what we had was great. The rolls were very fresh tasting, did not fall apart, and the mayo they use is a good one.
We have been spoiled by all the great sushi in the lower mayhem...so extremely happy to find this little hole in the wall.
And the staff member we dealt with was extremely nice and helpful.
Will definitely return.

“I’ve bought their focaccia bread regularly since moving to the valley 9 years ago and their take & bake pizzas are always a 10/10 as well. But today (for the first time) we tried their cinnamon buns and despite me not being a lover of sweets I ended up convincing my kids to share half of theirs with me because they were TO DIE FOR!!! Not to mention, we were there on a year-end Scavenger hunt from our piano teacher and the customer service, kindness, and general friendly vibe was something you don’t often see. Thank so much to all of you amazing staff at Vassili’s! We will (of course) be back and felt fortunate to get to share your amazing gifts with our new-to-the-valley friends!”

“This is very nice, quiet cafe on the high street with a northern European ambience. The owner is very friendly and eager to please. I have only bought take away. Although there are several ready made croissant sandwiches, recently I wanted a rustic bread so a fresh turkey, ham, cheese was made for me ($8, very tasty). I have also bought the Friday schnitzel, which is huge and feeds 2 people ($23). Comes with sauce and spaetzle. I look forward to trying the pastries.”

“Had the chipotle tofu main in my burrito, was super impressed. Lots of variety and customisation. Very flavourful burrito. A dairy free cheese option would be good too, and would love clarification on whether any of the salsa are vegan. Only real issue is not being able to swap non vegan items for vegan items. Cheese for roasted vegetables for example is an easy swap and probably more lucrative for the store yet they won’t do it. So instead I will take the cheese on the side and throw away or give to someone rather than allowing the company to save money.”

“The only stumbling block at this place is the fact that they only accept cash, which you can easily cover if you're ready for it. Service is extremely quick - if you order salad rolls you'll be eating in five minutes, and if you don't you'll be eating in less than ten.

The menu is on the small side but everything on it is a winner, with attentive and polite staff and truly awful decor that's worth coming to experience on its own. Pistachio green walls, posters that are probably older than I am, and statuettes lining the wall between the seating area and the cash register. It hasn't changed since I've first been there and I never want it to.”

“I visited this Subway yesterday and had an amazing experience! Mr. Gill served me, and he was super friendly and helpful. I ordered a footlong veggie patty, and he even suggested a great combination of sauces that made it taste perfect.

What really impressed me was his hospitality — I got there a few minutes after closing (around 9:05 pm), but he still welcomed me in with a big smile and didn’t rush at all. It’s rare to see that kind of customer service these days.

I’m really happy with this Subway and the service I got. From now on, this will be our go-to Subway for me and my family. Highly recommend this location to everyone!”
