“I think its the most amazing bubble tea i've ever had in my life! i'm a big fan of bubble tea but i've never tasted bubble tea like this! its out of this world. there are lots of kinds, like milk tea, fruit tea, slush, clouds, and many many different flavors. i like how you can choose how much ice and sugar you want in your drink. and i like that you can add jelly and pearls to your drink too. There are extraordinary flavors, many to choose from and i love to come here with my friends. and the price range is not to expensive, i love this place so much!“

“The workers there were very polite, and even though one of them were still learning, they made sure we got our drinks in a timely manner. While there weren't a lot of seats, it was luckily, not a busy day, so we were able to sit at a table no problem.“

“This is my favourite bubble tea shop! The price and taste cannot be beat. All the flavours are made with fresh fruit and the pearls are very flavourful, often freshly cooked as well. Not only are the flavours delicious, but there is such a wide range to choose from- my personal favourite is guava. The woman who runs the store is also very kind and welcoming! I have recommended L&G to many friends and they immediately love it as much as I do. Everyone should go to L&G, truly a beautiful gem in this city!!!“

“Came here last month to get the king of mango smoothie. Something didn't taste right (a bit icy and less mango flavor) compared to the Richmond location. Spoke to the manager and she remade our order and it tasted just as good as I remember. Would highly recommend.“

“A friend and I went to buy. We got a large shaved ice to share, and two drinks. The shaved ice was not something I would get again, as the ice had no flavor, and there were still some chunks of not shaved ice. The upside was that the fruit was beautiful, ripe, and fresh. Our drinks were a were full of flavor, and beautifully made. Not a bad price, (cheaper than starbucks) but still was around $5. Overall, 4 star“

“Ordered the Tofu Pudding Black Milk Tea and Purple Yam Fresh milk green tea.

A rare find (for me) to see a boba place with tofu as a topping so I was happy to find it on the menu. The milk tea tasted more like soy milk but I was ok with that. You can really taste the green tea from the purple yam drink and is a bit grainy from the yam. I would pass on that drink next time.

The place has a kiosk to order from but you can also order at the counter. The workers didn't really interact with us when we got in and ordered - one of them brought our drinks over which was nice of her.

They have some unique drinks that I'd still want to try. I would visit again if in the area.“

“Best Taiwanese wheel cakes I've ever had (including in Taiwan). Have been going here since the early 2000s and quality has stayed just as good with surprisingly low prices. Can't fathom a day where they aren't in business anymore— a Richmond staple and a true must-try.“

“My friend and I decided to order two drinks from this shop because the name caught our eye; we thought it might be new. We got one Grapefruit Fruit Tea and one Oolong Milk Tea with pearls.

The oolong was SO good, super fragrant and full of tea flavor. The grapefruit tea even had real fruit inside! I would recommend ordering it at 50-70% sweetness so you can actually taste the grapefruit vibe.

Everything was perfect, from the packaging to the taste! Absolutely amazing. Can’t wait to actually visit the store on a nice sunny day and sip like a main character. 🌸✨“

“I ordered my favorite Passion Fruit Green Tea, but the staff accidentally gave me Grapefruit Tea instead. When I mentioned it, he kindly offered to replace it, but I decided to give the Grapefruit Tea a try — and I actually ended up liking it! Sometimes mistakes turn into new favorites.

Since back home I’ve always liked CoCo stores for their fruit teas (I’m not really a fan of milk teas), it’s nice to find a new spot here that also makes great fruit teas. From now on, I’ll be switching between these two — Passion Fruit and Grapefruit😊“

“I came around 5pm and they were out of black pearls and cheese foam. The lady was very friendly and apologized profusely for the lack of toppings. She gave me what was left of the white pearls for free instead. The drink tasted great! I would def recommend this location.“

“I really like this place and come here pretty often, but I was disappointed during my last visit. After getting my drink and sitting down, there was a horrible smell — the same issue I noticed the last time I was here. I mentioned it before, so it’s frustrating that it’s still happening. It seemed like someone was cleaning the pipes or sink while customers were around, which made it really unpleasant. I hope they can take care of that before opening or after closing next time. I love this spot, but this issue definitely needs attention.“

Their bubble tea is the best in New Westminster — creamy, flavorful, and perfectly sweet! I also tried their croffles and kakanin, and wow, what a treat! The Filipino desserts reminded me of home, especially the halo-halo, which was so refreshing.

They now serve hot steamed buns (Siopao) and shaken teas, which are must-tries! You can really taste the love in their food and drinks. 💕

The staff are friendly, warm, and always greet you with a smile. Whether you're Filipino or not, Kabayan Cafe makes everyone feel welcome.

“I had never tried shaved ice until going to this super cute cafe —and it was love at first bite! The ube shaved ice bubble tea was absolutely AMAZING! The fine flakes of ice melted on my tongue and the ube flavour was a perfect flavour and sweetness. I greatly appreciated that I could choose my preferred sugar level. I also had try the chocolate flavour in the same visit, and was delighted by that one as well. I highly recommend checking out this place! After I paid I noticed there was a QR code to join and earn points, so I scanned it and realized I had joined the rewards program before and asked the lady if I could get the points on the amount I just spent. Another lady named Alice, was able to help me and good thing too as it was 300 points that I had earned! Also I changed my mind after I had paid already, to add grass jelly to the roasted milk tea and said I would pay for it but the lady Alice said it was ok. Such great customer service from Alice! “I stumbled upon this bubble shop and was immediately attracted to their fresh mango smoothie, which looks similar to the iconic Macu Tea’s King of Mango.
The smoothie did not disappoint and has its own unique personality with chewy barley bits. The only improvement I can think of is if they can add more mango flesh and pulp into the drink.

“Delicious fresh fruit tea options and a pleasantly bright & clean ambiance. (Tried the Day N Tokyo - lychee with konjac jelly). Service was very patient and friendly as well. Drinks do not taste overly sweet at 50% sugar. I also appreciate that they use strong paper lid covers/straws instead of plastic.“
