"I'll admit, I've walked past the Pub many times, thinking it looked a bit... sketchy** But, boy, was I wrong! The moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with warm smiles from the lovely staff - and I mean lovely in every sense of the word...

The service was top-notch, attentive, and friendly. My waitress very knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations. But what truly impressed me was the genuine hospitality. It felt like they actually cared about dining experience.

And the food? Absolutely delicious! Although < if you don't have the RYE for the pastrami sandwich it's ok that butter w condiments did the trick 😉> also who know my cocktail was little cheaper then my beer 😆..

I'm thrilled to have been proven wrong about this hidden gem. Don't let appearances fool you - Pub is a must-visit. Great food, beautiful atmosphere, and stunning staff I totally forgot to take Pictures coz my servicer tho.. lol

“The service was quite slow. The soft serve was thick and creamy and very rich. The toppings were the best part, especially their pistachio chimney cake with ice cream. The chimney cake in itself was not as chewy as expected of a typical chimney cake and was almost like a an untoasted slice of bread.“

And I love the Great Bear, it’s my favourite spot (kind of like the show Cheers) but I must let the owner know that the change in food has been terrible. I went the other day and was so disappointed that they changed the fries and crispy chicken burger. I brought a friend who had never been there before and I was raving about the food, and to my disappointment they changed the fries to the same you get at Costco. I understand maybe you’re trying to cut costs or make things easier for the kitchen staff but please please bring the old fries back!!!!“

“My family and I have been visiting 101 Boba on Cambie many times and this is one of our favourite ones. My top drinks would be No.8 green tea, Orange green tea, and passion fruit green tea. However, my wife loves their four seasons with mango sorbet, while the kids love the classic black pearl milk tea. This is in our top 5 bubble tea places in Vancouver.

“Had passed by 101 Boba before, but was finally introduced to their drinks after winning a gift card. Shoutout to @sadpenguinfoods on Instagram! We had a large Mango Smoothie (with coconut jelly) and a large Roasted Tea Latte with Grass Jelly. Both were refreshing and were August specials! The Mango Smoothie had a small layer of milk foam as well, and while you couldn't adjust sugar and ice levels, it had a good level of sweetness. The cup sizes were a fair size as well for the regular price.

We found the staff to be very friendly and the wait wasn't too long for our drinks. Convenient location beside T&T and near the parkade entrance! Looking forward to returning for my bubble tea fix! “I order from Icy bar on Uber all the time to get their black rice and coconut tapioca desserts (often on BOGO free deals). I dined in for the first time and their toasts are really tasty! They cut the bread and each piece is toasted, but still soft. I'll definitely come back back for these!

One of our servers was awesome and super friendly, while the one who brought our food was not (dropped our tray of food on the table rather than placing it down). I'll still opt to come here rather than Snackshot across the street as their desserts are better overall.“
