“Stopped in here for lunch and a brew today. Really great spot! Excellent food, a good selection of beers. Parking available on both sides of the road. Working farm/brewery and a great vibe. My grilled cheese sandwich was loaded with cheese and a wonderful carmelized onion jam. I chose a potato salad side which was very tasty. Will come back when we're in the neighbourhood. Beer guru (hubby) especially liked the Irish Stout, said it was very creamy and smooth.“

The owner even came out at one point to see how patrons would like a beer he was thinking of bringing in..The staff were on top of every refill and dirty dish. “I had the Pav Bhaji the other Day.. on the Plate .. They Serve Bhaji on the small section of the Plate and Paav on the bigger one.. They don't even put Lemon Slice to squeeze in Bhaji.. The Bhaji is just Ok.. Since they must've used the Pav Bhaji Masala .. If you Don't know how to serve Bombay Style Paav Bhaji.. Just see some YouTube Videos and Google Images on Plating style.. When I spoke with Manager or Owner (The Bearded gentleman in Regular Clothes and not in Restaurant Uniform)... He just diplomatically explained that they have changed the "PLATES" recently.. Really !! Kids can come with better excuse.. I'd Rather go to other places at least for Pav Bhaji.. Today I went for Sev Puri and yea that was decent .. but not Praiseworthy ..“

I simply have to share our fantastic experience with the Columbia Street Sandwich Company in New Westminster! When my son Adam got married on July 5th, we had a large wedding party staying at the Inn at the Quai, and the morning-of fueling was a top priority. We needed a vendor who could not only prepare delicious breakfast and lunch but also deliver it precisely on time to our hotel. And let me tell you, Sam, the owner, and her incredible team absolutely knocked it out of the park!

Breakfast was a dream come true for ten hungry people getting ready for the big day: a perfect combination of delicious breakfast sandwiches, fresh baked goods, a vibrant fresh fruit plate, and a carafe of piping hot coffee. The best part? Sam herself delivered it right on schedule!

Lunch was equally impressive, featuring a delightful mix of mini croissant sandwiches, a hearty veggie plate, and a refreshing assortment of water and juices to wash it all down. And again, delivered on time by Sam!

Beyond the fantastic food, the value for dollars spent was truly exceptional. Sam was the epitome of professionalism, never once trying to upsell us or push for more than we needed. She genuinely cared that everything went smoothly, and it absolutely did.

“Do not expect to get a table here. There were only 2 seats when we visited, so expect to get takeout. The waiting time for takeout was only 15 minutes on a Saturday for lunch.

We got 5 rolls, and the fish was very fresh and from Japan. Our favourite roll was the Yuki House Roll which is 5 pieces, but generously stuffed full of multiple fish. The Salmon Oshi was also pretty good, but a little too much sauce for our preference.

Would recommend if you're craving really fresh takeout sushi.“

“I dined here for lunch a few days ago with some friends. We ordered different pasta dishes to share and we all ate the matcha tiramisu. Everything was delicious. Noodles were cooked perfectly, and all the sauces had the right amount of seasoning (nothing was lacking or overpowering the dish). The dessert was very tasty and not super sugary as other desserts can be.

Since this was during the lunch time rush, the restaurant was fully seated with people waiting for a table. The service was quick and attentive. Our water was refilled and the server made sure to check on us and how our meal was. We did not feel rushed nor ignored.

I feel the owner and the staff have corrected a lot of the concerns it seems people have had with negative reviews. This is now one of my favourite restaurants in Richmond and I will be coming back many more times.“

“Get the Large pho only if you're ready to do business! The broth was legit amazing and way better than all the other local pho joints and came with a decent amount of meat (2x what's shown in my photo - I already started eating before I remembered to take the photo). I'm a big eater and still struggled to eat 2/3 of it. In the end I had 1/3 of the gigantic large size left. The staff are all Vietnamese. The only drawback is that there's only paid street parking in the area.“

“We were here on a rainy Monday afternoon, and it was great that we didn’t need to wait to be seated. There is complimentary fruit dices and sunflower seeds while we were waiting. We ordered rabbit and chicken offals, and both of them were super numbing and spicy, and of course, tasty. The waiter was super attentive, get clean plates and add water before we even asked. Sadly we drove all the way from Calgary here and we can’t come and eat often, but definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes authentic Szechuan food!“

“We decided to visit Point Roberts, and arrived hungry! We liked the menu and the food did not disappoint. I had the spinach salad with added chicken. Everything was fresh and tasty. My partner opted for breakfast, served all day, and enjoyed a bagel with lox, topped with red onion and capers. There was a soup of the day and a variety of sandwiches. We chose to save room for one of the delectable pastries displayed on the counter. While we ate lunch, two different fellows came in, sent to “pick up something sweet” to bring home.

Service was friendly and attentive. One orders at the counter, but staff bring food to the table, offer water and more coffee, etc. The cafe is small inside, with a nice deck for outdoor dining. We were there on a sunny summer day, but I think it would be quite cozy on a chilly day…maybe another little day trip to see some fall color and a lunch of soup and one of the panini sandwiches…“

“Had lunch here for the first time today. Asked owner, Pindy what’s popular and based on that we had a small Meat Lovers pizza, Carbonara pasta and a small order of Gar-Parm wings. Pizza dough is made fresh daily, hand stretched and topped in front of you. Everything was cooked in the fast fire oven lending that slight smoky flavour with the pasta perfectly cooked and creamy, wings crispy outside yet moist and tender inside and the charred thin crust pizza well presented. If you like a crispier bottom crust ask them for well done. Every Monday they offer a 2-topping small pizza for $5 (no limit). On the side counter, they offer a variety of olive oils, seasonings, hot sauces, parmesan and chili flake to name a few that customers can add before eating or taking away. Lots of beverages offered, with indoor seating and tv for viewing games. All forms of food delivery are offered. Parking can be limited as it shares the corner with another franchise but there’s also mall parking behind. This Toronto franchise is owner/operated by a local ND family. Support, Shop, Buy Local !“

“My girlfriends and I went to this place to try and we were pleasantly pleased with the service and food. We ordered the One Meter Special Roll for 3 people that included 6 rolls. We also ordered the Shrimp Sashimi cooked twice. Everything was yummy, service was great and the atmosphere/deco was pleasing. “Our regular birthday cake go to bakery unfortunately closed so I searched for another that had good reviews on a Black Forest cake... Diplomat popped up and was close to work, a definite plus. Ordered one over the phone for the next day, which they were able to do! a plus plus😅 So without knowing what to expect other than the good reviews the friendly lady working the counter handed me the cake and my first thought was, WOW this weighs a tonne!! It was their smallest cake at 7 inches for 8-10 slices. I was now anticipating what it tasted like and when we did... WOW!! a very decadent interpretation of a classic. One of the layers was silky chocolate mousse laced with brandied cherries along with dark moist cake layers and fresh whipped cream then finished nicely with dark cherry halves on the top. It was DEVINE. A big thank you to Diplomat Bakery and it's very capable bakers, can't wait to try their other vast offerings in the future. They may be a little out of the way for some but well worth the effort getting there so don't hesitate, it'll be well worth it!!!“

While I like my hojicha latte sweeter, it was definitely made of high quality ingredients. The ube loaf is a must order too! It had a strong ube flavour, vibrant colour, and was deliciously soft.
