Thank-you for letting us rent your GOLDEN VALLEY house. We are so grateful Joyce Wurtele found you on the AIRBNB site! What a RESTFUL NEST for 3 days & 2 nights. The valley views were stunning. We loved interacting with the cows, chickens & of course MONTY. After our cycling days the 5 of us thoroughly enjoyed the dinners you served. What a FEAST to the EYES! Everything was DELICIOUS! The CHOCOLATE CAKE …..DECADENT! MANY, MANY Thank You’s Katy & John PS…. Joyce has already booked for next year!“

“Fantastic people, fantastic wines. Everything about Emandare is about letting the land and the grapes do their thing. The Pinot Noir is positively dynamic (but sells out every year). Visit the tasting room and you’ll immediately understand why wines from this valley are making waves… they are so good!“

“We had a reservation for 6 adults at 4PM but we were running late as we were coming from Victoria, the staff did not rush us and were very accommodating! We also asked if we could swap one of the tasting wines and they let us. The cheese board was delicious and we enjoyed the sparkling and red wine. Views were epic, such a beautiful spot!“

“What a gem in a great location. My niece and I stopped in for happy hour. Our server Lily offered up a few really good menu recommendations. The Cajun chicken tacos were a great start to an amazing meal. The pico de gallo was so fresh and perfectly balanced. I loved the selections of non alcoholic drinks - the spinnaker 0% G and T was so refreshing. Hard to believe it was alcohol free. We both had an incredible meal. I especially enjoyed the Dubai cheesecake which had the most amazing crust… wow, wow wow!!!! The cobbler was amazing too.“
