“Came in today while visiting from Vancouver for the day and this place honestly won me over.

Tried the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and it was easily the juiciest, most insane fried chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. Super crispy, crazy juicy with real flavor. Every bite was unreal.

I’ve eaten a lot of fried chicken sandwiches and this one instantly went to the top of the list. No hype, no overthinking, just straight up done right.

Did not expect to find food this good on a random day trip.“

“A true gem. Quaint treehouse in the midst of Ganges. Fabulous food and romantic at night with the fairy tree lights. Loved their homemade soup and quesadilla! We could hear live music from our evening at the marina wafting through the sea air, and made note that they have live music some evenings. This trip we enjoyed breakfast early in the day and there was quite a lineup waiting for it to open. It filled up quickly. Outside seating is available during summer months. The food is always good. A definite gem nestled in the trees. It’s good for families with a children’s menu available. Reasonably priced food. You may want to bring something to keep the kids busy while waiting though as when it’s busy you may be waiting a few extra minutes. Enjoy! Tell them Dee sent you. 😉“

“I came to Salt Spring Island from Victoria, and this place ended up being one of the best parts of my trip. If you enjoy relaxing with a glass of wine on a sunny day, it’s the perfect spot. The prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is laid-back, and the wine is delicious. I’m heading back to Victoria with such a great memory and would love to visit again.“
