“This is a large restaurant and brewery. Great selection of brews, and cans to take home. I got the salmon burger and it was delicious. I got a flight and enjoyed the selection and tastes. I bought cans to go home to enjoy. My favorite was the berry beer. I had it in my flight, then got a pint, and took cans home. Servers were friendly!“

“These 5 stars are because of Julia, a server at Landlubber. She is one of the best servers ever. She gets to know her customers and treats them incredibly well with very quick and friendly service.
I've been to the landlubber several times, and I'm generally happy with food and service.
My friend Miranda is a regular there with the dart league and has told me, "I love my servers at many venues, but Julia is by far the best I've ever had."“

“On September 1st 2023 My friend and I went for lunch and sat out on the patio. The food was terrific and our waitress was amazing. We were reluctant to go there, but we decided to take a chance, and we are so glad that we did. This jewel of a pub will be our go to for our outings. I can't say enough about the great service we received. Thank you so much, it was a real treat.“

“10/10 great experience, lovely lil pub with such good food. I got the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and vegetables. Seriously a really good meal. And pints were super cheap! I would absolutely come back to this place. Bar staff were excellent! ❤️“

“Fish n Chips !!!?Got a smile.I told them i was use to eat Fish n Chips everywhere i seen sime to try.I am commercial Fisherman and High quality family oriented Fish market East Coast.Theses Fish and Chips are probably the BETTER ones i tried from Coast to coast of Canada.And the size worth it up. ☆☆☆☆☆“

“This is 5 stars for an old pub and old feel. Lots of beers on tap, food looked like cozy pub food, old building around for .. forever. Servers were friendly, and my pint was great value! Like? Under 6$?! Honestly it's an old pub, so if you like visiting nostalgic and pub feels, this is your spot.“

“What a great little spot right on the waterfront! We dined on the patio/gazebo which was well sheltered from the wind and heated too. Service was excellent, very attentive throughout our meal and patient while we perused the menu options. I had the maple roasted garlic wings and a side of fries. The wings were sauced well, tender and crispy, and the fries were extra crispy! We ended the meal with a shared Nanaimo Bar, as you do when in Nanaimo. It was a great way to cap off the day after an adventurous whale watching excursion.“

He went above and beyond to ensure my experience was exceptional, providing thoughtful recommendations and engaging in friendly conversation that made me feel like a valued guest. It’s rare to encounter someone with such genuine hospitality, and Fraser absolutely set the tone for a fantastic dining experience.

“My husband and I decided to go here for dinner after not having been in over a decade. They have definitely updated the place. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We didn't have room for dessert but will be back for the deep-fried cheesecake!“

“This Xmas wasn't an option to cook Xmas dinner so we searched for an alternative. The Lantzville Pub was preparing Xmas dinner to take out. Decision was easy. It was one of the best Xmas dinners ever. Light and dark meat turkey, dressing, potatoes, brussel sprouts, carrots and squash along with gravy and cranberries. There was enough left over (for both of us) for turkey sandwiches for lunch today! We were told by one of the staff that the kitchen staff did the whole thing. They deserve a huge round of applause for all their work and good food. We visit this Pub fairly often so this is one more time that we will probably make it a point of visiting again. Thanks to all for making our Xmas special and all the best to all of you for the New Year. See you soon!!!!“
