“The service and food were incredible. For those who are wondering if it’s worth the trip to get to, it absolutely is! The food has great flavor, is prepared beautifully and is run by a very hard working family. I recommend the Rose Pasta and the Pork Ssam! Right now, they also have a Dubai chocolate pancake going on and it’s also very delicious.“

“Great menu options of different sauces and type of meat for tonkatsu. Just a suggestion that they should display pictures of the food or put their menu on their store front window for display as I notice some people passing by not knowing what they offer as some people don’t know what tonkatsu is. After finish8ng my meal and waiting for my husband to get the car, I noticed some tourists walking by looking around to see if they could find the menu or something at the door but nothing was available.“

“Great spot for creative pasta and sushi. We got the Shanghai pasta and soy marinated salmon futomaki. The pasta was medium spicy but balances out with the clams. The special futomaki was huge and tasted fresh. Service was also friendly and attentive!“

“My husband and I wanted to try this place so we ordered on UberEats, and honestly it was really good! My only complaint is that the protein portion (in our case, we picked chicken) is really small given the price. We actually ended up adding some chicken we had at home to meet our macros. Overall good flavour, good spice level and cooked very well!“

“Coquitlam/Vancouver is incredibly lucky to have a food staple like Hee Rae Deung. When it comes to 불맛, portion size, and atmosphere, this place is simply unmatched. I genuinely felt like I was back in Korea.
Not only does everything taste phenomenal, but there’s something deeply satisfying about the sheer abundance of food that arrives at the table. Every dish is generous and packed with flavour.
1)Dumplings: unbelievably good. Juicy, crispy, bursting with flavour
2) Jjajangmyeon: rich, smooth, perfectly balanced.
3) Jjampong: smoky with incredible depth of flavour, loaded with seafood, and refreshingly not greasy or heavy.
4) Tangsuyuk: can’t praise this enough. The portion size is amazing, the crunch is crunchy, and the hint of lemon in the sauce was such a unique twist -not overly sweet and very addictive.
Overall, Hee Rae Deung delivers not only amazing food, but the comfort, nostalgia, and satisfaction of an authentic Korean dining experience. Thank you Hee Rae Deung“

“A little cramped, a little dingy, a little disorganized, this restaurant will win you over not with looks but with comfort food, refreshing soda, and a kind soul.
The curry chicken is presented like an omurice with several fat chunks of chicken around it. The chicken was pleasantly soft and chewy, and went well with the curry sauce. The rice was a bit hard, but no points lost for that. I could eat it just fine with the thinly spread egg. The star of the show was actually the berry soda! Sweet but with the right amount of tanginess, and with some berry pulp at the bottom to top it off!
There was enough soda in one cup to last me two meals. It’s enough of a selling point for me to return. I usually don’t drink soda, but damn, you got to me. Thank you!“

“Just got to Vancouver from Toronto and thought we’d give this place a shot. Food was very delicious and portions were generous. Owner and all staff were really kind and nice and the service was quick. You can also see that the kitchen is super clean and neat. “We ordered the combo of Jajangmyeon, Jjamppong, and Tangsuyuk, and the portion was generous enough to share among 3–4 people. The spiciness of the Jjamppong can be adjusted to your preference.
Everything tasted great, and the Tangsuyuk was especially crispy and delicious.“

“The food is quite nice, I was born in Taiwan and they made the food exactly like home. The only concern that got my attention is the marketing. It’s unique and fun!!! “Our host Rita gave phenomenal service. Everyone else that helped with our table was very polite and pleasant to speak with. The cooks even set aside some of the spices that would have made the food to hot for our daughter and they accommodated fun utensils for kids as well as gave us free desert for birthday. Will definitely be back!“

“I've tried many sushi places and Sushi Wara is definitely the best I've tried so far! Their California rolls blow everyone else's out of the water and their chicken karaage is better than dedicated chicken restaurants!
I've ordered here constantly using Uber eats and never had any problems with delivery time being long.
Also had a chance to dine in recently and the decor is amazing. Service is also impeccable!

“My boyfriend and I go to this pho place about 3-4 times a week. It is the best pho place I’ve had in Canada, and I’ve tried various pho around the provinces. “Great spot for Korean food! The cold noodles were the highlight—probably the best I’ve had in the Lower Mainland. The spicy pork bibimbap was solid, and my wife rated the Gam Ja Tang 4/5. Side dishes were simple but tasty. We arrived around 7:30pm on a Friday and only had a short wait.“
