“I ordered one of the platters. The fried chicken was hot and juicy. Brisket was super tender. Ribs were great as well. The biscuit was really soft and moist - probably one of the best biscuits I've ever had. The beans had a bit of kick to it which I really enjoyed. I didn't get any of their drinks so I can't comment, but the food was delicious. Only complaint is that the service was a bit slow. Ended up waiting half an hour for our food - but the wait was worth it considering how fresh everything was. Will be coming back again. The fried chicken was my favourite part.“

“Had dimsum here and the food was amazing! Everything was so flavourful and they were very attentive when we needed more water, tea or napkins. This is also still hands down my favourite place to have the Liu Sha Bao. Other places, the bun tastes kind of dry and the egg custard isn’t as flavourful. We were also happy to eat the Sesame Oil Chicken as it’s not always found on dimsum menu!“

“I had a great dining experience at Toedam Korean Fusion BBQ. The portions here are impressively generous, making it one of the best value Korean restaurants I’ve visited in Vancouver. Every dish came out flavorful, well-seasoned, and freshly prepared.
The spicy marinated crab was rich and bold, the pork hot pot arrived sizzling with tender meat and savory broth, and the tteokbokki had that perfect chewy texture with a satisfying level of heat. Even the side dishes were delicious and thoughtfully made—fresh, well-balanced, and constantly replenished.
What really stood out, aside from the food, was the service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and quick to help with anything we needed. The restaurant is clean, organized, and the ordering system is easy to use, which made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable.

“Oolala Chicken is way better when you dine in rather than getting takeout or delivery.

I tried the new Machoking flavor (BHC-style Machoking), and it was so good I literally scraped the sauce clean. It officially became my new favourite!! I used to love the mala flavour, but this one took its place.

Sometimes there can be a slight smell with chicken, but ordering strong-flavored options like mala or Machoking really covers it well and makes it much better overall.
Highly recommend dining in for the best experience.“

I had a great experience here overall. The food was absolutely delicious, and even though the restaurant was clearly very busy, the staff remained friendly and attentive throughout our visit. You could tell the team was working hard, and despite the rush, the service never felt careless or rushed in a negative way.
The Sooda Dakgalbi was especially outstanding — full of flavor, perfectly cooked, and definitely the highlight of the meal. It’s easy to see why this place is always busy. The energy of the restaurant actually adds to the atmosphere and makes it feel lively and popular.
I’m a regular at the Gastown location, and I’m happy to say this location lived up to my expectations as well. The quality of the food and the overall experience were consistent with what I’ve come to love about Sooda.
I’ll definitely be coming back again and would recommend it to anyone looking for great Korean food in a vibrant setting.“

“Great food, portions and prices. We've been a couple times now and always leave feeling satisfied and with leftovers. It's not too big of a restaurant, and it feels cozy inside.

Fried chicken- we usually get the half and half boneless chicken. The portion is quite large. Our favourite is the spicy soy garlic. The outside is crisp and the chicken inside is tender. The texture of the batter is different from other Korean friend chicken I've had, but in a good way.

Prawn and chive pancake- thin but loaded with prawns and chives. The edges are so crisp. A good dish to go with some drinks.

Korean sausage and pork soup- I don't usually see blood sausage at a lot of places and this is one of our favourites. Along with the tender pieces of pork and liver. The soup is flavourful with a little bit of spice.

Overall, I really like this place. I'd visit more often if we were closer. So it's definitely a treat when we're out in Coquitlam. Give this place a try (:“

Plenty of parking, clean space, and a choice between indoor seating or a nice outdoor patio. The beer selection was solid, with options ranging from light lagers to IPAs. Staff was friendly and the overall vibe was relaxed and welcoming. It’s a bit of a drive for me, but I’d definitely drop in again if I’m in the area.“

“I cannot believe that I have not visited this place earlier. Before I ordered it, I asked what the potato noodle is like. And the staff explained to me very well. And I ordered the most popular one at this place. Spiciness was medium and meat was beef. Visual impression of the food was so home and cozy. And the taste was deep and rich. Perfect spiciness. And the best part was noodle. Its texture was between udon noodle and tapioca noodle. Pleasantly chewy and noodle didn't get soggy quickly. I enjoyed this food til the end. The only thing that I was little disappointed was the portion of meat. There was just some pieces but I was so contented with this flavor. “The BBQ pork is always up to standard. It's delicious and al dente. However the lady who served me today was so impolite. I requested less rice for myself and regular for my companion. I asked if I could get a bit more veggie while I requested for less rice. She immediately replied with her long face that you need to pay more for veggie! Ok fine I didn't want more veggie then. Then when I paid for my food, I asked her which one was less rice. She was so blunt responding that she forgot! WAHT?!?! Did she think that I was begging her food? Or was I given food for free? Without the customers, how can your shop sustain for rent and wages and other expenses! That lady needs to be trained her attitude is in this job. If she doesn't understand customers are the key to sustain business, please don't work here. Please go start up your own business that you can shout to the customers.“

“We has always walked by this restaurant, decided to give it a try.
You order at the table electronic menu, server was very friendly & helpful. My girlfriend can only have chicken, we asked the server whether the kitchen can accommodate her preference. A definite “Yes”, she ordered Bulgogi ( instead of beef, they sub it with chicken). She enjoyed the meal very much!
I had my favourite “Soon dubu Jigae “ with beef - a stew with veggies, beef & soft tofu. It was yummylicious, next time, I will have to order it spicy! Hubby had his favourite cold noodles with pork collar.
Service & food was good, lunchtime on a weekday got very crowded, lots of people ordered the BBQ set for lunch special.

They have 8 different Bahn Mi sandwiches to choose from and they also sell Vietnamese deli items and desserts.

I tried the Special Sub and it had different cuts of
deli ham, pickled carrots/radish, cilantro, cucumber, jalapeños. Bread was good as it came
out warm and crispy. Can’t go wrong when it was $5.80 after tax.
