“Friendly staff, serves quickly. Broth is tasty. Not stingy on the orders. Self serve sauce bar. Menu can be confusing, meats are by the plate while some items are by each individual item (ex. 1 fishball). Ice-cream was a bit icy but Ur here for the hotpot.“

“This Korean BBQ spot is absolutely one of my favs in Lougheed. The pork and beef bbq and also side dishes were as flavorful as they were plentiful. The bibimbap was super comforting and the soups were rich.
The store was quite busy but very welcoming with the staff.“

“Atmosphere and service was great, order when you're ready from a tablet right at the table. The smoked chicken was great, awesome smoke flavour that's hard to get elsewhere. The fried chicken was good, but not what I think of when I want Korean Fried Chicken. Definitely would go back.“

“Stumbled upon this restaurant on Canada day after the fireworks at the nearby Lafarge lake. We were surprised it was still open so late! It’s not a Michelin style fine dining, but let me say this, if you are looking for an authentic Korean food experience, you’ll find it here. Service is fast, no nonsense, no over exaggerated descriptions of the dishes, straight to the point meal options. And unlike the popular Korean bbq experience (which I also enjoy), this is different that it brings you the culinary experience of what a regular Korean family would cook and serve at home as their daily meals. I was so impressed by their pork feet meal, it took me back 20 years to the days I would enjoy this dish as a snack with beer. It was truly a nostalgic moment. Another thing to be mindful of… do not assume you can handle these family size portions. They are there to bring you comfort not just in the duty of flavour packed dishes, but also in the size of the meals! We ended taking a lot of the food home cos we were bursting at the seams by the end.
I will absolutely come here again.

“Everything was wonderful! I always went to the Happy****, but to be frank, every time I went there, I was very disappointed. So I was looking for a new place and I am so glad I did. The only disappointment was that we were too full to try any other food😆😆😂 and there isn't a seating area for a larger group (hoping for seat 8~ 10). We were actually considering going back the very next day! Highly recommend!!“

“Went here for sunday lunch and it didnt disappoint. No wait, we were seated right away. Took long to take our order but once she took it, everything came quick. Ordered the Hapnam set and deep fried mandus and these were more than enough for 3 people. We even had some leftovers. The food was very tasty, and unlike in other korean BBQ places, they cook the meat for you at Sooda. It was great but also awkward to have someone standing beside you cooking. We wouldnt have minded cooking the meat ourselves. The marinade of the meat was tasty but not overwhelming, just right. The kimchi was not as expected but still good .it wasnt spicy, barely had spice, and it wasnt fermented either. When we asked for more, we had to wait because they were still making it. Its ok if you dont mind it un- fermented. Different but good experience overall.“
“I cannot believe that I have not visited this place earlier. Before I ordered it, I asked what the potato noodle is like. And the staff explained to me very well. And I ordered the most popular one at this place. Spiciness was medium and meat was beef. Visual impression of the food was so home and cozy. And the taste was deep and rich. Perfect spiciness. And the best part was noodle. Its texture was between udon noodle and tapioca noodle. Pleasantly chewy and noodle didn't get soggy quickly. I enjoyed this food til the end. The only thing that I was little disappointed was the portion of meat. There was just some pieces but I was so contented with this flavor. Overall, it made my day, and I would happily go back there hopefully every week :)“

“I don’t often write reviews (I think I have 4 on my profile?) but in my opinion, this justifies a strong review.
Weekend craving for fried chicken hits, and the reviews looked good, 10 minute drive, so decided to try it out.
In short: SO good.
The pork belly bao was unnnnnnnreal, the soy garlic chicken was super tasty and the spicy chicken was solid.
Small location, seems like a family business (maybe mother and daughter?) who were both very friendly when I picked up the food and the food was ready in 10 minutes like they said.
Definitely coming back ?“

“Very Kind servers(all of them) and good foods. Prices are on the cheaper side, too. Chicken skewers and mapo tofu(Our order is no oyster sauce, just spicy with peppers), fried squid, spicy fish dish are our favorites. Most dishes on the menu are good. Draft beer was fresh. They offer you one small snack for free upon arrival :) I can smile every time I come here.“

“Beef skewers are delicious, but among so many things, only beef skewers are delicious The pork belly is too sweet, the crispy chicken bones are too sweet, and the chicken rack has no sweetness at all. The grilled sausage is so dry. It’s better not to grill it The tofu skin is also dry. Hey... I hope this store is delicious and open a little longer. Please improve it, boss. ?“
“I recently ordered the Christmas Turkey To-Go package from Yo-BonesBBQ, and it was an absolute delight! The BBQ whole turkey was incredibly delicious, perfectly cooked, and bursting with flavor. The stuffing and sides were equally impressive, complementing the turkey wonderfully.
The delivery was spot on time, making the entire experience seamless and stress-free. I couldn't be happier with the service provided. The team at Yo-BonesBBQ truly went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. They were very thoughtful to include cutlery, plates, and napkins, which was a fantastic touch.
The salad, with its delightful cranberries, was on point and added a refreshing element to the meal. Yoshi from Yo-BonesBBQ provided unforgettable customer service and even did the delivery to our place. The prices are very reasonable and offer great value.

“Had the pulled pork and southern sweet tea. Tea tasted no different than regular iced tea. Pulled pork wasn't tender enough, but for around $13 for 1/2 lb, it's a good deal for the amount of meat you get. This is very respectable as more restaurants have increased prices due to greedflation and just inflation. Would not go specifically to the mall it’s in just for their food.“
