“If you are looking for bubble tea this place is fantastic! Most flavours are made with fresh fruits the pearls are done just right and the pricing is excellent. At this time there is no indoor seating. My wife likes the mango with pearls and I go for the strawberry 🍓/ raspberry with pearls. Price was $6 each. The one thing that could make this place better is that the owners try a little harder at being more friendly.“

“This is my favourite bubble tea shop! The price and taste cannot be beat. All the flavours are made with fresh fruit and the pearls are very flavourful, often freshly cooked as well. Not only are the flavours delicious, but there is such a wide range to choose from- my personal favourite is guava. The woman who runs the store is also very kind and welcoming! I have recommended L&G to many friends and they immediately love it as much as I do. Everyone should go to L&G, truly a beautiful gem in this city!!!“

Went to London Drugs initially because it was closer and was said to be super cheap (about the same), but the photo quality there was dull and lighting really flat. The taro milk tea and mango jasmine green tea are our standard order and the happy hour rates through the day make it great value for money. The service is friendly and packaging is pretty cute too. The shaved ice was not something I would get again, as the ice had no flavor, and there were still some chunks of not shaved ice. The upside was that the fruit was beautiful, ripe, and fresh. “Definitely one of the best boba places in Vancouver! The owners (a sweet family) are incredibly nice and friendly. The drinks are great. The environment is very comfortable and clean with plenty of seats. The place is also well decorated with kpop stuffs so it’s even better if you’re a kpop fan!“

The menu is incredible- I’ve tried so many of their drinks and they’re all delicious (matcha, hojicha, jasmine tea, banana milk) the ingredients always taste fresh and each drink is made with love. “Had the Fresh Mango Coconut Milk ($8.24 with tax). It was good! You can adjust ice and sugar levels for most drinks, including this one! I didn't want to consume dairy, so you can substitute their coconut pudding for their coco water jelly, a nice hybrid between coconut jelly and grass jelly. It's impossible not to compare the drink to Macu Tea, which I do prefer for their addition of grapefruit & the tea jelly flavour in the King of Mango. However, Cocobay was a good option in the area!

The mango was sweet enough, and the coconut milk was rich. There was only one staff member around 7 pm on a Sunday so there was a short wait as they prepared other orders. Friendly service, however, and she was able to answer menu questions about dietary preferences!“

“I came around 5pm and they were out of black pearls and cheese foam. The lady was very friendly and apologized profusely for the lack of toppings. She gave me what was left of the white pearls for free instead. The drink tasted great! I would def recommend this location.“

“My friend and I decided to order two drinks from this shop because the name caught our eye; we thought it might be new. We got one Grapefruit Fruit Tea and one Oolong Milk Tea with pearls.

The oolong was SO good, super fragrant and full of tea flavor. The grapefruit tea even had real fruit inside! I would recommend ordering it at 50-70% sweetness so you can actually taste the grapefruit vibe.

Everything was perfect, from the packaging to the taste! Absolutely amazing. Can’t wait to actually visit the store on a nice sunny day and sip like a main character. 🌸✨“

Seems like an honest mistake (with the weather today I figured they were super busy and it was just a miscommunication) and when I mentioned the order made over the phone, the girl at the counter (who was not the one who took the order) was very kind and apologized for the error and offered to make me a new slushie per the the original order. “Ordered the regular milk tea, roasted milk tea, strawberry yukult, and two bubble waffles. After I paid I noticed there was a QR code to join and earn points, so I scanned it and realized I had joined the rewards program before and asked the lady if I could get the points on the amount I just spent. Another lady named Alice, was able to help me and good thing too as it was 300 points that I had earned! Also I changed my mind after I had paid already, to add grass jelly to the roasted milk tea and said I would pay for it but the lady Alice said it was ok. Such great customer service from Alice! “I have been coming here for over a year when I stay at the nearby Sheraton (half a block away). The service has always been impeccable when the owner is there or with any of his crew when he is not there. They are all knowledgeable about the products they are serving and they recommend the best they have in sugar free optionsn for me. I have tried all the flavors that don't come with added sugar, such as jasmine, Royal #9 (blueberry infused), matcha, and Iron Goddess (oolong). The jasmine tea without the milk by itself also has excellent flavor. If they have time, they are also fun to talk to about local restaurant recommendations, life, and travel. I highly recommend The Alley for all the above reasons, along with their professional and rapid service“

“I really like this place and come here pretty often, but I was disappointed during my last visit. After getting my drink and sitting down, there was a horrible smell — the same issue I noticed the last time I was here. I mentioned it before, so it’s frustrating that it’s still happening. It seemed like someone was cleaning the pipes or sink while customers were around, which made it really unpleasant. I hope they can take care of that before opening or after closing next time. I love this spot, but this issue definitely needs attention.“

“I stumbled upon this bubble shop and was immediately attracted to their fresh mango smoothie, which looks similar to the iconic Macu Tea’s King of Mango.
The smoothie did not disappoint and has its own unique personality with chewy barley bits. The only improvement I can think of is if they can add more mango flesh and pulp into the drink.
