“If you are looking for bubble tea this place is fantastic! Most flavours are made with fresh fruits the pearls are done just right and the pricing is excellent. At this time there is no indoor seating. My wife likes the mango with pearls and I go for the strawberry 🍓/ raspberry with pearls. Price was $6 each. The one thing that could make this place better is that the owners try a little harder at being more friendly.“

I enjoyed my caramel pudding fresh milk tea with pearls, and also the little custard filled dessert (Taiyaki) that comes as a combo.

The store offers a stylish ambience and there are some boardgames offered, I find that's inviting.

Only sad thing: They make you order on a touch screen and that removes the in-person interaction with their staff. The machine still asks for a tip...“

“This is my favourite bubble tea shop! The price and taste cannot be beat. All the flavours are made with fresh fruit and the pearls are very flavourful, often freshly cooked as well. Not only are the flavours delicious, but there is such a wide range to choose from- my personal favourite is guava. The woman who runs the store is also very kind and welcoming! I have recommended L&G to many friends and they immediately love it as much as I do. Everyone should go to L&G, truly a beautiful gem in this city!!!“

“Absolutely phenomenal place to enjoy a fresh handmade boba. I live seven hours away and I make it a point to tell everyone I know about this place and to always grab one when near the area. On multiple occasions I have driven over 45 minutes from different areas of Vancouver when visiting to go to this specific shop. The staff are very friendly, the menu is visually appealing with lots of options and the boba balls are made fresh daily by hand with real brown sugar. My favourite is the signature brown sugar milk tea, it comes with a delicious foam on top that they caramelize with a torch. This is my favourite drink shop in all of Vancouver and I will always go out of my way to make the stop! Thank you for the delicious drinks!!“

“yogost is my favorite drink place in the area, somehow it's hard to find one like this that doesn't focus on coffee or tea. the price is a bit high and wish they had some menu changes to keep things fresh occasionally though, although they do have a good variety of choices“

“We hosted a floral workshop at Gong Cha New Westminster, and it was the perfect place for it. The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout the event. “Don’t be fooled by its modest unassuming front, Paradise Juice is a hidden gem in the Crystal Mall food court!

I always get the Paradise Special “Mango Ice cream” which is much closer to a blended mango milkshake than scoopable ice cream. I can’t believe it’s under $5, half the price of many glitzier Boba places nearby. The drink is thick and pulpy, made with real ripe mango rather than powders. A lot of times, drink places will use too much ice in blended drinks to cut down on costs but I found the Mango ice cream to be rich and smoothly blended. It’s just the right amount of sweetness and a refreshing beverage to have with hot noodle soup or stir fry. Paradise juice, like much of the Crystal mall food court, may be no frills in its store front but simply cannot be beat in price and quality! Make sure to bring cash though as they do not accept card like many places in the food court.“

“Definitely one of the best boba places in Vancouver! The owners (a sweet family) are incredibly nice and friendly. The drinks are great. The environment is very comfortable and clean with plenty of seats. The place is also well decorated with kpop stuffs so it’s even better if you’re a kpop fan!“

Went to London Drugs initially because it was closer and was said to be super cheap (about the same), but the photo quality there was dull and lighting really flat. The menu is incredible- I’ve tried so many of their drinks and they’re all delicious (matcha, hojicha, jasmine tea, banana milk) the ingredients always taste fresh and each drink is made with love. “Had the Fresh Mango Coconut Milk ($8.24 with tax). It was good! You can adjust ice and sugar levels for most drinks, including this one! I didn't want to consume dairy, so you can substitute their coconut pudding for their coco water jelly, a nice hybrid between coconut jelly and grass jelly. It's impossible not to compare the drink to Macu Tea, which I do prefer for their addition of grapefruit & the tea jelly flavour in the King of Mango. However, Cocobay was a good option in the area!

The mango was sweet enough, and the coconut milk was rich. There was only one staff member around 7 pm on a Sunday so there was a short wait as they prepared other orders. Friendly service, however, and she was able to answer menu questions about dietary preferences!“

“Been here since I was young and I’ve never had a problem! The teas are strong (oolong, four seasons) and for someone who drinks a lot of matcha, the strawberry matcha is comparable to specialty cafes; they also have oat milk! The owner(s)—man and woman who are always there—are always above and beyond nice :)

This local Asian chain is comparable to Bubble World and Milk and Sugar but out of the three, it is definitely the best quality and the only one that is consistent.

They also don’t prompt for tip so I hope that means they pay their workers well enough? 😂“

“Cheap and yummy. Pearls are free of charge + you’re able to mix two fruits for free. Service is a little slow, but there’s a lot of seating and you’re able to connect to the McDonald’s wifi next door.

“Been a few times to Macu Tea. They have three other locations (DT, Kerrisdale and Burnaby). Wait is 15 to 30 min. Drinks are $6.00 to $8.75. Nice that they put a small bench at the back.

- ACE strawberry avocado smoothie ($8.75) - slightly too icy. Would be better if they blended the strawberries fully
- Premium orange li-li tea ($7.75)
- Bo-bo grape smoothie ($8.25) - green tea jelly and bo-bo (agar) were good. Thick, smooth texture. One of their best flavours
- Grapefruit li-li with honey drink ($7.95) and boba ($1.00 extra) - plain but a good chew. Real bits of tart grapefruit“

“My fiancee and I loved the milk tea & chocolate swirl ice-cream. We created our own parfait by adding strawberry syrup (free), ai-yu jelly & grass jelly too hehehe. We knew the milk tea ice-cream would be good but the chocolate was just as good. The chocolate ice-cream was very distinct. It tasted like dark meji chocolate. Mildly sweet and very much like Asian chocolates!! Next time we shall take a photo because we ate it all before this review LOLOLOLOLOLOL

I always come here for their smoked jasmine macchiato. Now I have to choose between my fav drink and yummy newly discovered ice cream hmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Hopefully they will offer more flavours. I highly recommend using Fantuan in-store pay at Shiny Tea. We got about 10% off by using the app. Also, I would ask for a stamp card if you visit often!!“

“Placed an order for 3 Taro slushies over the phone, when I got my order, I got 2 slushies and one milk tea. Seems like an honest mistake (with the weather today I figured they were super busy and it was just a miscommunication) and when I mentioned the order made over the phone, the girl at the counter (who was not the one who took the order) was very kind and apologized for the error and offered to make me a new slushie per the the original order. “My friend and I decided to order two drinks from this shop because the name caught our eye; we thought it might be new. We got one Grapefruit Fruit Tea and one Oolong Milk Tea with pearls.

The oolong was SO good, super fragrant and full of tea flavor. The grapefruit tea even had real fruit inside! I would recommend ordering it at 50-70% sweetness so you can actually taste the grapefruit vibe.

“had an amazing experience at Kabayan Cafe! The atmosphere is super cozy and Instagrammable — perfect for hanging out with friends or just relaxing with a good drink.

Their bubble tea is the best in New Westminster — creamy, flavorful, and perfectly sweet! I also tried their croffles and kakanin, and wow, what a treat! The Filipino desserts reminded me of home, especially the halo-halo, which was so refreshing.

They now serve hot steamed buns (Siopao) and shaken teas, which are must-tries! You can really taste the love in their food and drinks. 💕

The staff were really kind and welcoming, and they even suggested a few good mixes based on what I like. You don’t feel rushed, and the whole place has a clean, healthy vibe to it. Prices are totally fair for the quality you get.

“I stumbled upon this bubble shop and was immediately attracted to their fresh mango smoothie, which looks similar to the iconic Macu Tea’s King of Mango.
The smoothie did not disappoint and has its own unique personality with chewy barley bits. The only improvement I can think of is if they can add more mango flesh and pulp into the drink.
