At this time there is no indoor seating. My wife likes the mango with pearls and I go for the strawberry 🍓/ raspberry with pearls. Price was $6 each. The one thing that could make this place better is that the owners try a little harder at being more friendly.“

If I didn’t see the fresh fruit for my own eyes, I wouldn’t believe this. Not only do they offer fresh fruit bubble tea, but their prices are extremely reasonable. I’m getting myself a mango lychee bubble tea and the mango lychee portion is $4.75 and an extra $.50 for the bubbles. Boba monster is down the way and that’s where I was headed but I thought let’s check out the little guy here and I’m glad I did!“

“Came in the evening, got a mango peach bubble tea with pearls. Was nice and thick from the fresh fruit. The pearls/boba were nice and soft, they didnt not get hard sitting in an ice cold bubble tea for the hot evening.
The lady was nice enough to open the door for me without being asked as a wheelchair user. This was such great service. Will definitely come again.“

“I tried the Hojicha Banana, and it was pretty good. It had a generous layer of banana puree at the bottom, topped with hojicha milk. The banana flavor was quite strong and almost completely overpowered the hojicha, so I'd love to see a better balance between the two.
They also had some ice cream and other desserts that looked really good. I'd definitely come back to try them next time.“

“My daughter had her passport photo taken here when she was four. We had first gone to London Drugs, but she didn’t feel comfortable with the photographer there and refused to have her photo taken. We came here instead and the owner was so patient and kind with her. His calm attitude helped her relax and sit still for the photo. I’ve always remembered how good he was with her. “Paradise Juice is one of my go tos in Crystal mall. Their prices are the best and from 3-5pm they have buy 3 get 1 free deal.

I always get the papaya smoothie or the avocado smoothie. I love their drinks. On occasion I'll get their egg waffles. The egg waffles are nice and chewy. Make sure to wait for it to cool so it turns crunchy. They are strangely Moorish“

“I love coming here after a big grocery shop as a reward the incredibly kind worker made me and my sister feel welcomed the first time we visited and then on. “My fiancee and I loved the milk tea & chocolate swirl ice-cream. We created our own parfait by adding strawberry syrup (free), ai-yu jelly & grass jelly too hehehe. We knew the milk tea ice-cream would be good but the chocolate was just as good. The chocolate ice-cream was very distinct. It tasted like dark meji chocolate. Seems like an honest mistake (with the weather today I figured they were super busy and it was just a miscommunication) and when I mentioned the order made over the phone, the girl at the counter (who was not the one who took the order) was very kind and apologized for the error and offered to make me a new slushie per the the original order. “I tried the Ice Cream Matcha Latte with less sweet and less ice. It tasted like a milky matcha drink and is refreshing on a hot day. Good balance of matcha and milk/ice cream. The matcha wasn’t bitter or grassy. I found less sweet to be right for me. My mom found ‘less sweet’ a little too sweet for her due to the ice cream. So, some seniors might be able to do no sweet if there is ice cream in the drink. I can’t wait to try other drinks!“

“Ordered the iced pistachio jasmine tea with 30% ice and zero sugar. It was not very sweet which is perfect for me. I had to wait in line to order but the wait was only 5 minutes. After ordering, they would announce the number and displayed on the screen. I only waited 10 minutes. The whole experience was good and wait time was acceptable. I can’t wait to try other flavours.“

“My friend got the osmanthus and lychee milk tea and I got the black tea frappe.

The drinks were pleasant especially on a hot day.

My black tea frappe was flavourful and packed a punch of black tea! It’s topped with sweet, fresh whipped cream and crunchy pecan chips.

I will note that you may need to tell them about no pecan chips in case you have a nut allergy. Other than that, sipping the drink can be a bit difficult with the pecan chips, so be careful to not choke on them.“

“The UberEats order pick up was quick and smooth. The peach and lychee slush drinks were ordered with a special note that they be made with 30% sugar. I was not sure if they would accommodate this because other bubble tea places have denied sugar modifications for slushy drinks and smoothies. The gentleman working there immediately gave me the drinks upon seeing me and explained he made them less sweet by only adding a certain type of syrup and no other added sugar. Not quite 30% but definitely less sweet. I appreciated this!“

I had pre-ordered a drink through Fantuan a day in advance because my boyfriend was going to pick it up for me while I was at work. On the pickup day, he told me they didn't have my drink. I assumed I'd be able to get a refund through Fantuan, so I didn't look into it any further.

A few days later, Fantuan informed me that I wasn't eligible for a refund because CocoBay had already made my drink and kept it until closing time. I was really confused, so I went to the shop to figure out what had happened. I explained that I had given my boyfriend the order number, but he didn't have my phone with him at the time, so I'm not sure if I accidentally gave him the wrong number or if there was a miscommunication during pickup.

Even though it wasn't their fault, the owner and Madeline kindly offered to remake my drink so I wouldn't lose my money or leave empty-handed. That level of customer service is rare these days, and I'm incredibly grateful for their kindness and understanding.

“Wow the food is fantastic. It was very difficult to decide on what to try. I ended up with the “hot & sour dumpling soup” and the “beef slice in Chinese pancake.” Both are a must try.“

“On an adventure eating my way through the Vietnamese spots in the Lower Mainland:

I actually forgot to review Hanoi Corner when I first came two years ago. I did find and upload some of the pics from that first visit, it also helped to jog my memory. First time around was so-so. The Banh mi was tasty but some of the cilantro were dead-ish. It was also one of the early cafes offering some different versions of Vietnamese coffee like egg, salted etc. which are more common in most shops now.

This second visit was much better, even though prices have gone up a bit. But what hasn’t gone up in price these past couple years. Seems like the average price for a Banh mi around the city is 10 bucks a pop. I had the meatball Banh mi. It’s made from pork and cooked in a tomato based sauce. I quite enjoyed this version as the meat had a good texture to it (some other places the meat balls were too crumbly). Veggies were fresh this time and jalepenos had some kick to them!

They have more than just banh mi, they have noodles, chicken wings, spring rolls and the drink menu is quite extensive.“

“The Alley 鹿角巷 used to be EVERYWHERE in Metro Vancouver during the peak bubble tea era, and now the Downtown Vancouver location is the last one standing. 👀🧋

Although bubble tea trends have shifted over time, this place still brings a sense of nostalgia and comfort whenever we visit downtown.

The location is very convenient, just a few minutes’ walk from the Scotiabank Theatre Vancouver on Burrard Street. It’s a great spot to grab a drink before or after a movie, especially since they stay open until 11 PM.

Our go-to order is ALWAYS the Brown Sugar Deerioca series 🤎. The pearls are chewy, the brown sugar flavour is rich, and the large size is definitely worth it if you’re walking around downtown all day. 😂

If you’re visiting for the first time, I recommend starting with these options:

“I don’t usually leave reviews, but this place definitely deserves one. The juice here is incredible — so fresh, so natural, and honestly the best I’ve had in a long time. You can tell they use real fruits and squeeze everything on the spot. I tried the watermelon and mint combo and it was super refreshing, not too sweet, just perfect.

The staff were really kind and welcoming, and they even suggested a few good mixes based on what I like. You don’t feel rushed, and the whole place has a clean, healthy vibe to it. Prices are totally fair for the quality you get.
