“I was at the Capilano Suspension bridge park recently to see the Halloween display and it did not disappoint! Even through the rain it was a great time, and we stopped at the Cliffhouse Restaurant for a couple of drinks and to warm up and it was excellent. Our server Dorsa was so lovely and made sure we always had full drinks, the vibe in there was a surprising 10/10, definitely coming back in the Summer to enjoy the patio!“

“Server Maria is especially pleasant and good at her job! The place has amazingly good food including homemade pies. This restaurant (diner style) is rich in history, decorative, and has great service. All of this is well tied together by that server who is very competent and friendly!🙂 Sometimes tasty food is not enough.“

“We just had the most welcoming experience at Browns Socialhouse in Lower Lonsdale! The Widowmaker beer, the burgers, and all the flavors were amazing. Our server, Abby, was absolutely wonderful and made us feel right at home.

Since it was our first time here, we were pleasantly surprised when someone brought a delicious (and beautifully presented) dessert to our table as a first-time welcome gesture. It was such an unexpected and thoughtful touch that left us with a truly great feeling.

“We were a group of 4. Portions were generous. Pulled pork Benny was my dish, eggs were cooked perfectly, husband enjoyed the chicken and waffles. Server was attentive, food service prompt, dishes served as ordered (including a couple of modifiers they kindly accommodated ). Pina colada mimosa is a win. All 4 of us agreed it was a lovely experience. Would recommend arriving early on a weekend for brunch and add your name to the wait list.“

“Amazing burgers. We ordered a chicken sandwich and one of the beef burgers, they were both good. The Spicy chicken burger was the highlight and the fries good too.

“I've been coming here for years... the staff are always amazing... without fail!... yes, sometimes the food isnt always perfect(during busy times) but they always fix it in a heartbeat... eg. fries aren't always hot... however, it's hands down the best family restaurant in north van! I always leave there happy.“

“I visited this breakfast joint after many years of being out of the country and I have to say that thankfully nothing has changed ( other than the prices ). We went there as a party of 6 and a high chair. I ordered one of their traditional breakfast dishes and truly enjoyed it. The place was packed so we had to wait about 30 mins. The Iranian server there is so kind and attentive to our needs and other staff were also very welcoming and helpful.“

“Decent spot for a beer and burger. I had a good meal but my friend did not. The deep fried colliflower was overcooked and not as it should. Others enjoyed their meals and the happy hour specials. Generally a good neighbourhood pub with food available. The street patio was shaded but small.“
