“Chicken Fingers and Fries + 1516 Lager. Mountain poutine is really weird and the gravy is like drinking beef mr noodles broth. I love me a good stop at t bar to get some grub and a couple brewski's. Service is questionable at times, but that's just because the staff lives the party life! Sit up at the bar and you will get served instantly. I will be back in February of this year & I will visit again.”

“Oh my… this was quite an experience! When going there, letyourself be surprised by the Chef’s Menu (Menu dégustation in french). Surprise after surprise, it will make you live a real culinary experience! And our waiter (fluently bilingual) was excellent and vey passionate! Along with the lady who brought each plate and explained to us what they were. And finally the manager, I believe, who came over a few times to talk about the plates, the wine and how the pasta were made the same day, very early in the morning The wine suggestion was also perfect! Finally, the décor is not at all what you would expect, from looking at the menu on the web-site; very fresh, young, modern, yet very warm decor! Please go and try this place. I will definitely be back when travelling to Vancouver. Merciiii!”

“Finally got here. Nothing but good things. Place was swamped. Still got seated within 15 minutes. Staff were friendly and on top of it all! Food came fast, hot, and delicious. Definitely be back and highly recommend.”

“After reading the reviews, we just had to try it. We got the cod fish and chips, the halibut fish and chips and the clam chowder. My favorite was definitely the halibut fish, it’s juicy and crispy; the best fish and chips i’ve had. The cod fish wasn’t the best I wouldn’t order it again. Over all i would definitely recommend this place for a weekday lunch/dinner.”

“Had a wonderful birthday dinner here at Haidilao west Broadway.

Meat was delicious, we mainly had beef and lamb. The noodle dance was so funny to watch, would recommend. Sauce and snack bar has pretty good selection.

Service is absolutely exceptional, they are very attentive and will make sure you have a good time. I mentioned it was my girlfriend's birthday and they brought out a little cake with singing and a crown, very fun.

They have a happy hour after 9pm where you can choose 1 of 2 discount types, a certain dish or the whole menu. They are open so late, so it was nice to come here after watching the sunset at Kitsilano. Don't forget to try saying some secret phrases :)”

“We had the Spaghetti Meatballs & Cherry Coke Ribs. The Spaghetti, eh, honestly, you could do better, forget the pasta at the pasta place lol. Those cherry coke ribs were so unbelievably good, and the side of Lemon Pepper Grilled Brussel Sprouts. OMG I would come here just for that. We finished off the night with a Tiramisu, and it didn't dissappoint. We will definitely be back. The only negative/ complaint if that, I notice a lot of people recommend it as a date spot, if you want to chat, dont bother, the place is so friggin loud lol”

“Beyond amazing really. Everything we ordered was off the scale in terms of taste, texture, temperature. One of the best meals we've had in the last 10 years. Can't recall what we ordered, but here are 2.

The service was amazing, very Japanese, extremely friendly.
We left there elated, a complete food euphoria with tastes so amazing we talked about it for a while. One of the chefs my girlfriend reads up on says that he’s been following the Sushi Hill chef for a while and every time he eats there “my eyes roll into the back of my head”. We certainly had that feeling. Sadly we can now never again go to another sushi place in Vancouver lest we want to eat cold fish wrapped in rice and dead seaweed. But it’s a small price to pay. We’re already scheduled to go back April 12th.”
