“Chicken Fingers and Fries + 1516 Lager. Mountain poutine is really weird and the gravy is like drinking beef mr noodles broth. I love me a good stop at t bar to get some grub and a couple brewski's. Service is questionable at times, but that's just because the staff lives the party life! Sit up at the bar and you will get served instantly. I will be back in February of this year & I will visit again.“

This morning my husband convinced me to go there again, this time it was really good. our server May was freaking amazing and keep tabs on everyone in her section, our food came quickly and the overall experience this time was very pleasant! The service was attentive, friendly, and genuinely warm throughout the entire visit. “We had such an enjoyable experience at Kapow burger. Mia was our server and she did an excellent job. She checked on us 6 or 7 times throughout our meal to make sure we had what we needed and was very willing to answer all our menu questions. Thank you Mia!! We will be coming again.“

“If you are in Vancouver and want an amazing dining experience, we highly recommend Lift Bar and Grill. We dined here for supper on June 3, 2023, and absolutely loved the atmosphere as well as the food! Waterfront dining (they provide indoor/outdoor and roof top dining), with the water and mountain views was spectacular as we watched the sunset on the water. Our server Sean was very pleasant and courteous and made our time there very enjoyable. We started with Caesars and Soughdough Baguette, and then shared a Scallop & Prawns Linguine (we have smaller appetites). Both were absolutely Amazing dishes! The surprise birthday dessert was very much appreciated and delicious! We would say the cost is average for Vancouver restaurant dining. This is not a fast food restaurant, but chef prepared and is reflected in the presentation and taste! We will be back when we visit again!“

“I tried Popeyes for the first time. I tried chicken wings and pickle sandwich plus onion rings and fries. It was my best experience of fried chicken. Although the service was not good as it was very crowded I still recommend trying Popeyes.“

“We had a memorial birthday celebration on January 28th at the Olympic Village Tap and Barrel, where the entire team were incredibly attentive to our needs. “It's important to remember when visiting Quizine that this is an educational / learning environment for VCC students. I've never had a bad meal from Quizine and I find the prices super reasonable considering what you get. Decent selection of items (although I have to admit that my dietary restrictions are minimal so I can't speak on that front). “The best starter I've ever ordered. It was a spicy salmon sushi. So flavorful! The main course was excellent and the dessert was out of this world. The drinks were perfect and our server was charming and attentive. You would be hard pressed to beat the view as well.“

“We come every year for Dine Out. S&B is always consistent. The only thing I was disappointed about was that they replaced the ribs with chicken on the 3 meat combo platter. Nevertheless, we will be back because the food is amazing. Best fries around!“

Fantastic menu.
I have never had a bad meal or bad service.
The salads are great as is, well everything.
A favorite is the portobello vegetarian burgers, the wild salmon salad and the very yummy prawn gyozas appetizer.“

“Just want to say our server had a full room inside and outside on the heated patio. She was also bartending for all of these people, she was serving a lot of big groups by HERSELF and still managed to be efficient, quick, and friendly. That deserves 5 stars and more“

“We were lucky to be served by two amazing gentlemen at the bar last night! We were so well taken care of. Kudos to them. My husband and I came into Vancouver to do some YouTube filming and decided to end our night in your establishment and to be honest we didn’t want to leave! But all good things have to come to an end or they can’t start again. We didn’t have food this time unfortunetly. But we thourly enjoyed ourselves m. The music was AWESOME but just too loud. We sat at the end of the bar and it felt like my ear was being blown off, but in most def not in my 20’s 😆

“I’m currently sitting at the bar, the beer on tap was good, and the bar service was good. I ordered a Bison Burger which was just OK, the patty was dry, and the fixings were just OK. The French fries SUCKED, it felt like I got the dregs of the Mckains bag, small and very underwhelming. When I asked the bartender if he wanted any feedback, he said “I didn’t cook it”. I informed him, that I was aware he didn’t cook it. When I asked the bartender’s if he passed my comments onto the kitchen he said “No”. I paid my bill and let him know through the mechanism of tipping, all was just OK. T - to I - insure P - proper S - service Great atmosphere.“
