“This it your typical bar food restaurant. I had a burger and fries which was great! The nachos for 2 is truly for 3-4 and the serving size is deceptive. It came with really generous sides of salsa, sour cream and guacamole (extra charge). Beer was cold and tasty too. The menu could offer a few more options though.“

“Kapow Burger is a fun, quirky spot with a small seating area inside and a roadside patio that gives it a lively, casual vibe. They have games you can bring to your table, which makes it a great place to hang out with friends while you eat. It’s self-service, but the staff were super quick and really friendly.

We both ordered the Double Kapow and the burger itself was really good. My only small complaint was that the buns were cold..a warm bun would’ve taken it from great to top-notch.

It’s definitely a loud, busy place on a Saturday night, but that just adds to the energetic atmosphere. A solid spot if you’re looking for a fun, no-frills burger night. 🍔“

“If you are in Vancouver and want an amazing dining experience, we highly recommend Lift Bar and Grill. We dined here for supper on June 3, 2023, and absolutely loved the atmosphere as well as the food! Waterfront dining (they provide indoor/outdoor and roof top dining), with the water and mountain views was spectacular as we watched the sunset on the water. Our server Sean was very pleasant and courteous and made our time there very enjoyable. We started with Caesars and Soughdough Baguette, and then shared a Scallop & Prawns Linguine (we have smaller appetites). Both were absolutely Amazing dishes! The surprise birthday dessert was very much appreciated and delicious! We would say the cost is average for Vancouver restaurant dining. This is not a fast food restaurant, but chef prepared and is reflected in the presentation and taste! We will be back when we visit again!“

“The homemade wonton noodle soup here is absolutely amazing. I order it every single time I visit — it’s that good. The wontons are fresh, the broth is flavorful, and the noodles have the perfect texture.
The owner is also incredibly kind and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. A cozy spot with great food and great people.“

“Nothing but the sweetest staff. Mama and I asked a lot of questions but they were right there to answer. The food was so quick but in a fresh and seasoned way, not in a hurried way. “It's important to remember when visiting Quizine that this is an educational / learning environment for VCC students. I've never had a bad meal from Quizine and I find the prices super reasonable considering what you get. Decent selection of items (although I have to admit that my dietary restrictions are minimal so I can't speak on that front). It can be a little slow when it's busy but, again, that's to be expected.“

“I am not a smash burger person but I liked this one. I would definitely eat this burger again but there are things that I didn't like. It took almost 30 minutes to get the burger after we sat to our table and it wasn't crowded. As everyone mentions, the smoke, the smell and the vents are also no-no. I think it's best to order the burger 10-15 minutes before getting there and pick it up to eat somewhere else.“

Fantastic menu.

The salads are great as is, well everything.

The French fries SUCKED, it felt like I got the dregs of the Mckains bag, small and very underwhelming. When I asked the bartender if he wanted any feedback, he said “I didn’t cook it”. I informed him, that I was aware he didn’t cook it. When I asked the bartender’s if he passed my comments onto the kitchen he said “No”. I paid my bill and let him know through the mechanism of tipping, all was just OK. T - to I - insure P - proper S - service Great atmosphere.“

She and the staff in the restaurant were slammed during the Brazil game, after the Canada v Switzerland match. We could watch the Brazil match on the TV and food and beer were great. Thanks to all staff for a great World Cup experience full stop - it was incredible how great it was given the volume and chaos!“
