“Enjoyed happy hour and dinner.
They generously accommodated my vegan request with a modified taco bowl with extra rice, beans and salsa. My (not vegan) husband thoroughly enjoyed his large, happy hour priced poutine.

“Last time I went to the one on Davie st. in Vancouver I was so disappointed. This morning my husband convinced me to go there again, this time it was really good. our server May was freaking amazing and keep tabs on everyone in her section, our food came quickly and the overall experience this time was very pleasant! Ask to be in May's section when u go here!“

“Kapow Burger is a fun, quirky spot with a small seating area inside and a roadside patio that gives it a lively, casual vibe. They have games you can bring to your table, which makes it a great place to hang out with friends while you eat. It’s self-service, but the staff were super quick and really friendly.

We both ordered the Double Kapow and the burger itself was really good. My only small complaint was that the buns were cold..a warm bun would’ve taken it from great to top-notch.

It’s definitely a loud, busy place on a Saturday night, but that just adds to the energetic atmosphere. A solid spot if you’re looking for a fun, no-frills burger night. 🍔“

“Go to Denny's on Kingsway, Burnaby BC and ask for EVA as your waitress, she is super nice, a real pro and has gorgeous red hair. She is like those old-fashioned attentive waitresses that deserve big tips for being great“

“If you are in Vancouver and want an amazing dining experience, we highly recommend Lift Bar and Grill. We dined here for supper on June 3, 2023, and absolutely loved the atmosphere as well as the food! Waterfront dining (they provide indoor/outdoor and roof top dining), with the water and mountain views was spectacular as we watched the sunset on the water. Our server Sean was very pleasant and courteous and made our time there very enjoyable. We started with Caesars and Soughdough Baguette, and then shared a Scallop & Prawns Linguine (we have smaller appetites). Both were absolutely Amazing dishes! The surprise birthday dessert was very much appreciated and delicious! We would say the cost is average for Vancouver restaurant dining. This is not a fast food restaurant, but chef prepared and is reflected in the presentation and taste! We will be back when we visit again!“

“Great place for the kids to be outside - and the adults - and enjoy the beautiful setting. Food was great. Our kids loved the Mediterranean Power Bowl. We loved the wings, fried pickles and pizza. Mac and Cheese was loved by some, not all, but those who did said it was some of the best. It’s a little “drier” than some. Chris, our server, was so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed him. (Some of the pics are the area - great for walking after dinner.“

“The homemade wonton noodle soup here is absolutely amazing. I order it every single time I visit — it’s that good. The wontons are fresh, the broth is flavorful, and the noodles have the perfect texture.
The owner is also incredibly kind and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. A cozy spot with great food and great people.“

“My daughter had her birthday party here last night, and everything was amazing! Thank you for letting them have a table by the window, for being so accommodating to a group of teens, and for the great service from the server and manager. “It's important to remember when visiting Quizine that this is an educational / learning environment for VCC students. I've never had a bad meal from Quizine and I find the prices super reasonable considering what you get. Decent selection of items (although I have to admit that my dietary restrictions are minimal so I can't speak on that front). It can be a little slow when it's busy but, again, that's to be expected.“

“Beautiful, prestigious lounge with an upscale atmosphere and excellent service. I actually appreciate how they maintain the aesthetic of the space rather than allowing random items like silver tablecloths to be thrown over the tables. If that’s the look you’re after, Chuck E. Cheese might be more fitting.

“Definitely a respectable smash burger. Patty is well seared with lots of crispy bits on the edges and a great flavour. Sauce was good on the burger as well (I had the big cheeser).

The location is typical Chinatown, pretty rough and dirty outside but ok after coming inside. There were a lot of flies in the restaurant. Not a huge deal, but there was a significant amount flying around our food.

I wanted to love the dirty fries but they just didn’t do it for me. Tasted like bagged fries with toppings on them. Looked good and portions were generous though, just didn’t live up to the hype.

Gluten free bun upcharge was 3.75 which is the highest upcharge for a gluten free bun I’ve encountered in the city.

Service was friendly though and the burger itself is definitely worth trying, however, there is definitely a lot of hype around this place from social media and I’m not sure it lives up to the hype.“

Fantastic menu.
I have never had a bad meal or bad service.
The salads are great as is, well everything.
A favorite is the portobello vegetarian burgers, the wild salmon salad and the very yummy prawn gyozas appetizer.“

“I’m currently sitting at the bar, the beer on tap was good, and the bar service was good. I ordered a Bison Burger which was just OK, the patty was dry, and the fixings were just OK. The French fries SUCKED, it felt like I got the dregs of the Mckains bag, small and very underwhelming. When I asked the bartender if he wanted any feedback, he said “I didn’t cook it”. I informed him, that I was aware he didn’t cook it. When I asked the bartender’s if he passed my comments onto the kitchen he said “No”. I paid my bill and let him know through the mechanism of tipping, all was just OK. T - to I - insure P - proper S - service Great atmosphere.“
