“Chicken Fingers and Fries + 1516 Lager. Mountain poutine is really weird and the gravy is like drinking beef mr noodles broth. I love me a good stop at t bar to get some grub and a couple brewski's. Service is questionable at times, but that's just because the staff lives the party life! Sit up at the bar and you will get served instantly. I will be back in February of this year & I will visit again.“

“Interior was very cool with the pink neon lights. I got the rootbeer float which was delicious. Nice and intimate inside, not a super big place. My only gripe was the price but I’m not sure if that’s something the bar can even control that much w inflation. “We had an awesome event here for my friends 30th in the upstairs kitchen! Kaitlyn was our “server” but I don’t like using that word because she was honestly more of a host and helper. She’s the reason why I want to have my next birthday here!! I should also mention the entire staff was amazing! Everyone helped to make sure that the evening was everything we wanted it to be. But big shout out to Kaitlyn, thankyou for being so fantastic from start to finish

Also I must mention that the kitchen staff did an amazing job with the food! The cook came to check on us to make sure everything was to our liking and they went above and beyond.

“For a bar, this place has *excellent* food, really cute signs (love the pug theme and the mural outside that's changed slogans periodically... its an adorable and clever touch!!!) Blackened chicken was great on my superfood salad... the flavors all compliment each other beautifully with the chickpeas, quinoa and roasted broccoli. A very solid choice 💯“

“The Lido quickly became an East Van staple when it opened approx. 10-ish hears ago. It’s authentic & unpretentious, and frequented by folks that are non-mainstream / unconventional / alternative (to use the limited descriptors we humans use 🤣). The bar staff have always been friendly & real. The interior is stylish & creative without trying too hard. The indoor space has lots of places to sit as well as a small dance floor / audience area with a stage - and fun ceiling decor! Live music shows & DJ nights of various genres happen regularly, from jazz to metal. The outdoor space is a hidden gem of the city, as it is fully covered & fenced, making it cozy, private & sheltered from the elements. Highly recommended“

“I was served by a dish of wings by a very nice lady named Arantxa tonight. The staff here are always quick , attentive ,welcoming and polite. The wings were excellent and generous in their serving size . I have told many friends about the positive experience I have on a regular basis at Bar One. Whether it's Arantxa, Victoria, or any of the other staff , whose names I don't have at the moment . Credit where credit is due... The food and service make for a good meal.“

“We sat out on the covered patio to enjoy the weather, the inside was a retro pub vibe I really enjoyed. We ordered the pitcher of mojito, corn ribs and spinach dip. Good food and drink prices, the staff were very friendly and attentive. It’s a great pub to visit. Vegetarian options and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They have daily specials available, even on Saturdays, making it an affordable gem on the drive.“

“We went here for my dad’s 70th birthday, I had accidentally booked the wrong number of seats and knowing how new and busy they were I called frantically about changing the reso last minute. They were so nice and very accommodating and were able to make it work (I think we got the best table in the house!)

Besides that, the food & drinks were OUTSTANDING (we got like 3/4 of the menu - the duck was unreal). The service was so good, she was knowledgable and put up with my old mans bad jokes. I can’t recall her name but she had nice red hair and she was 10/10.“

It's very unassuming and contrasting from the loud and busy exterior. It feels like your in a whole other world as soon as you step in the door.“

“Been here twice in the past couple of weeks. Great venue! Lots of ping pong tables, and lots of long tables to socialize and play board games at. Ping pong balls and paddles were provided, and were in great condition. Staff was friendly. Only thing I would suggest for improvement is have more food options, and drink options for people that don't drink beer or wine. Like Smirnoff Ice, Palm Bay or growers cider. Like how the staff didn't mind people ordering pizza from elsewhere and having it delivered there!“

“After spending 7 nights in this truly fabulous hotel, we ended our final hours in the Ginger Juice Bar, and the service of course was service at the very best, and atmosphere was relaxed and happy. This hotel is amazing ❤

“I love it because I could do my dancing without being bothered feel like I'm in my own living room dancing I call it my gym I go there when I feel tense and I just get on the dance floor and dance but since I had my two strokes recently infecting my balance so I need to rest hopefully it comes back cuz I miss going dancing and it's also the my favorite because I'm allowed to bring my dog with me“

“We went for lunch at the recently renovated The Grill at Terminal City Club. Though only accessible to members, I really enjoy dining and lunching here with friends. It has an outdoor patio area that overlooks waterfront to the North. We really appreciate that the restaurant gave us well-portioned meals even though we asked for the dishes to be split. Our salad and our club sandwich with all the fries were a good portion for each person. Lots of choices between soup and salad to compliment your sandwiches. Coffee and tea are part of the meal. That grilled salmon caesar salad was so delicious, healthy and light, I was craving it the next day. Fries were very crispy and delicious too.“

“We have been traveling from the Seattle area to Vancouver since 1999 on a regular basis. In 2005 we discovered CinCin. Since then, we NEVER go to Vancouver without having dinner there. We have never had a single morsel of food that we didn't love. We celebrate our big anniversaries there. We have been there for our 10th, 15th, 20th and last night our 25th. We have been to more than 50 countries around the world and we love to eat but CinCin is our favorite restaurant. Can't wait to celebrate our 30th there and a bunch of times in between.“

They accommodated our special request to book out their mezzanine level for 50+ people for a joint birthday party, with a very reasonable deposit, and allowed us to decorate the place, bring in birthday cake, and have a mini karaoke corner using our own portable system with a laptop mirrored to one of their TVs as the karaoke screen. Service and food were great as well! We ordered a few rounds of appies for the group, and everyone purchases their own drinks and could order additional food as needed. Sam the manager was very good at checking in to ensure all was going well throughout the evening. Would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a great special event space. Thanks again Bimini's and we will be back!“

“My friends and I had an amazing time at Granville Room! The vibe was perfect, with great music and a welcoming atmosphere. The cauliflower wings were crispy and flavorful, and the vegetarian tacos were fresh and delicious.

The customer service was outstanding – friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. If you’re looking for great food and a chill spot with good vibes, Granville Room is the place to be! We wonder how did we miss out on this gem in Vancouver so far, we can't wait to keep visiting!“

“Life of a transit operator, we see lots of things when we work. My joy is trying new restaurants, coffee shops, dessert shops and curiosity arise to my eyes when there is lots of customers in a place. I try Bells and Whistles today with my daughter. I admit the fish tacos was delicious for appetizer. We order popcorn shrimps and try one of their new feature cheese burger with jalapeños plus fries too. My food was good and I like my food hot not cold. The waitress was very helpful and courteous.“

“Breakfast pub dining and the food is delicious. We had the Huevos Rancheros and the bean base was delicious. Excellent portion sizing and they also have an expensive cocktail selection. Limoncello spritz! Which we didn't try but will next time. Coffee was very diner coffee.“

“I would highly recommend Brown’s Social at UBC. Our server, Keean, was attentive and very helpful in suggesting options on the menu. I took his suggestion and ordered the ahi tuna crunch salad and it was delicious. We also tried the oreo cookie jar for dessert and it was super good too.“

“This is a real speak easy hidden at the back of the Hundy burger and chicken sandwich counter. Dark comfy interior with a nice mix of soft music. The drinks are really good but pricey, luckily the sandwiches are good and reasonable. The spicy chicken, fries, salad and poutine are creative, delicious and unique. They're a bit understaffed so be patient and enjoy the ambiance.“

“This little gem opened up down our street and we were hooked the first time we came here. Great value for money and really amazing food. I recommended it to my travelling wine Wednesday crew and they now make it a regular stop they love the food so much! Worth checking out, especially if you go for lunch. (their lunch Thali is enough for more than just one meal, I always have leftovers)“

“This is the best place to go dancing in the whole city, in my opinion. Great staff, great sound, great visuals, great DJs, great rotating monthly theme nights. Nothing beats dancing on the Fox stage- just don't bring drinks up there! As if the dancing weren't enough, the live bands and comedy shows are also well worth checking out. I've been all over the city and Fox is easily the top spot, no two ways about it.“

“We phoned yesterday, made a reservation for a birthday dinner today at 5:30 PM, confirmed verbally on the phone. We showed up at 5:30 PM and they turned us away, saying they had no reservation. We showed them the phone number that we phoned yesterday to make the reservation. The phone number was on our phone, confirming that a phone call had been made. We recounted to them the conversation, including the discussion about the fact that it was a birthday and reminded them of the discussion about having a dessert with candles. Nobody recalled the conversation and we had to leave because they were fully booked. they tried to assert that our reservation had been for the previous day and that she even recalled serving a woman yesterday with the same name, a birthday.“
