From the moment we arrived, Landon’s warm and welcoming personality set the tone for an extraordinary visit. He greeted us with genuine enthusiasm and offered a wealth of knowledge about the winery, its history, and, of course, the wines. His passion for wine and the winery’s craft was immediately evident, and it made the entire tour feel like an educational adventure rather than just a tasting.
Landon expertly guided us through the tasting process, offering detailed descriptions of each wine and sharing interesting stories behind the blends. His ability to explain the nuances of each varietal, without being overly technical, made the experience approachable for both novice wine drinkers and seasoned enthusiasts. “Moraine Winery has made it to my top 2 favourite in BC after one visit. Kim was phenomenal: she laughed with us, made us feel right at home, and gave us an amazing wine tasting. Their wines were truly so good, all achieving something different. It was hard to not go home with more than 2 bottles! We will definitely be back because of the amazing wine and because of Kim! “ROCHE wines’s story weaves love, authentic French wine making tradition and an adventurous move to the Okanagan. Dylan Roche (Burgundy, Chablis, New Zealand, Margaux) an avid cyclist wished to pursue becoming a cycle mechanic and tour guide in the idyllic countryside of Burgundy in 2000. Serendipitously, the alluring life of winemaking converted him to officially train in Beaune (2003). Pénélope Furt-Roche (6th generation Bordeaux winemaker of Château Les Carmes Haut-Brion, Spain, New Zealand, Australia,Tasmania) grew up at the esteemed family estate in Bordeaux and at a young age learned the exquisite French tradition of winemaking with her Father Didier. The two merged paths in New Zealand whilst discovering Hawkes Bay during harvest and fell in love (original Hallmark story). They chased each back to France, started a life and both continued their wine journey in Bordeaux. In 2010, the family decided to sell the estate and with a leap of faith the vignerons couple wanted to pursue a dream of their own… Roche Wines! New transplanted they found their desired location in 2011 and commenced various projects to assist them to their final goal in 2017. Being organic, with hands-on farming, focused on sustainable practices and paired with unique Okanagan terroir Roche Wines has quickly excelled. Within their 5 years, Dylan and Pénélope have received BC Lieutenant Governor Awards, Highlighted in Decanter Magazine, high accolades from Jancis Robinson MW/London and wines are currently in most of BC’s TOP restaurants. Equally impressive is family friend and Award Winning Veteran winemaker Dwight Sick (Stag’s Hollow, Moraine Estate Winery, Chain Reaction, Seven Stones) whom has a stunning collaboration with Roche- Amulet Series. His glimpse of the Rhône features highly acclaimed and sought after Viognier/Marsanne, Grenache/Syrah blends. “Just visited Three Sisters Winery with my husband, our two kids, and our dog — and we had the best time! On this very hot day, the kids had plenty of shaded space to play and a whole selection of games to keep them entertained — giant Jenga, Four in a Row, chalk drawing, coloring books, and even Yahtzee. Everything was so thoughtfully set up for families. Our dog was treated to a refreshing bowl of cold water, the kids enjoyed fresh, delicious slushies and pops, and we got to relax with some wonderful wine. It’s one of the rare places where you can spend the afternoon tasting wines while your kids (and pup!) are happy and comfortable. Highly recommend!“

And the wine… wow! Every bottle we tried was exceptional. Let’s just say, it was a challenge finding enough room in the truck for all the wine we brought home!“
“(review for winery only, though GoogleMaps thinks I must have stayed there!) We had a wonderful visit at D'Angelo, such a great surprise. Vince was charming and helpful in every way. We enjoyed everything we sampled, and walked away with both varietals of Dolce Vita, so delish and unusual. The food truck onsite with fabulous view was an added bonus. Can't wait to return.“
“We went to Laughingstock for a wine tasting today. Our server, Vera, was lovely but so busy we didn't have a great experience. Apparently reservations are recommended. We walked in and were seated. Vera brought us our samples and then had to run to another table. We waited a long time for our next sample of mediocre wine. I'd rather they told us they were too busy to properly accommodate us. We could have spent out time at another winery that could give us their time and attention.“
“An absolute gem in Penticton!
We had such a great experience at La Frenz Winery. The wine tasting was absolutely fantastic. Every pour was thoughtfully explained and full of character. The service stood out just as much as the wine: warm, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish.
What really impressed us was how kid-friendly they were. It’s not always easy to find places that balance a great adult tasting experience with genuine hospitality toward families, but La Frenz nailed it.
Beautiful views, good wine, and kind people. Can't wait to return.

“We had such a great experience here! When we arrived, we were disappointed to find out there wasn’t food available — we were all hungry and had a bike ride ahead of us. Josh went above and beyond to take care of us, tracking down some incredible dim sum so we could eat before getting back on the road. The food was amazing, and the hospitality was even better. Everyone was so kind and accommodating, and the wines were excellent too. Truly outstanding service — thank you for turning our day around!“

“Originally the stunning property was an apricot orchard owned by the pioneering Riddle family in the early 1900’s. Joining that spirit were Vera and Bohumir Klokocka arriving from Czechoslovakia to purchase in 1979 and plant their dream vines in 1984. Next, creation of the beautifully rustic European grist mill design timber frame we see today all laden with white pine and Douglas fir beams truly transports you to the historic countryside still preserved. Carry on to present, Award winning Veteran winemaker Kathy Malone (Calona Vineyards, Mission Hill, ) dazzles you with her terroir driven, minimal intervention portfolio. Simple and elegant! With Chef Evan Robertson (Hardware Grill, Aerie Resort, Pig & Duke) leaving his mark on the Naramata Bench with locally sourced, terroir to table, seasonal menu- it’s a “Must Visit”! Awesome service, rustic historic building with lakeside views and always beautiful menu🇨🇦🏆🥂🍷🥩🍗 Hannah was friendly and very attentive!“

“we we guided through a tasting by Kelsey. As we were there early on a Monday morning, we had the place to ourselves. They specialize in sparkling wines, and won the award as the best Sparkling wine producer in the 2025 NWAC. We tasted a few, and they were excellent. We also managed to snag one of the last bottles of their gerwurstraminer.“
