“Great place, really good food and service, plenty of options to eat and drink. Service was really good from Tim the bartender as the 3 of us sat at the bar be a use the place was packed.

There were reserved sections that were not getting used due to waitress shortage (2 on shift) so to not stretch the staff too thin, about 4 tables (not much) so as we could not find anywhere to sit, we chose the bar.

Had a great time, and we plan on coming back soon.“

“Overall a great place, however they allow smoking on the patio right next to a door and sitting at the bar you get the horrible stench of tobacco every time the door to the patio opens. Really should not allow smoking on the premises.“

Her recommendations were right on point and we loved everything we had. Kudos to management for running such an awesome restaurant. “This place is a sports bar that feels like a casino. The waitresses are hot and wear skin-tight clothes, but almost tastefully. The food is decent to good, but is basic versions of what they are. 20-something me would love it, (and probably get in trouble) but almost 50-me thinks it's a bit much. If I go back, I'll leave my wife.“

“Food at Jolly Mac's is consistently very good. service is always friendly. One issue is that I have been shopping at the Liquor Store for 17 years. They always had tax and deposit included in the prices. Suddenly their prices have been changed to not have tax and deposit. I am not sure why this was done. It was always better to know the price you see is the price you pay. I think this was a poorly thought out decision.“

“I went Tuesday for the tacos and it was so good! Candy, my server, was very sweet and checked in often but without a hovering feeling. I stayed for a while because I was enjoying the atmosphere so much. More of a pub vibe than any other restaurant in the area.“

“We've driven by this place so many times and discounted it however... When we went in in a Friday night around 8pm it was vibrant, full of people. A very good neighbourhood pub with fantastic service and food that is of great value. I prefer a place with a bit better craft beer selection however will definitely be back again“

“Ordered my ever-favorite lettuce and chicken wraps... had to go hunting for the chicken. Seriously, there probably were 6-10 tiny pieces (and that's being gracious). Otherwise tasted good and lots of lettuce to keep us going. Definitely would seriously think twice about ordering this again. “I was at the Horse and Ryder pub for dinner and a live show. It happened to be Darren Lee and Mario the entertainers. This was the best entertainment our group has seen in 2 years. They interacted with the audience and made us all part of the show. It was amazing. Last but not least was the amazing staff on. Our server Samantha was one if the best we have seen in ages. Handled our two tables with ease and a smile. Such a pleasant girl. She was awesome. Her lovely smile made us feel so welcome. When you have Darren Lee and Mario again please let us know. And hoping Samantha is on the same night. ♥️“

“Ordered prawn avocado roll seaweed was like leather waitress had a manager come to table he made no excuses just offered me a new choice had calamari so so good he checked back 3 times to make sure all was right very impressed with him and server.“

“I accidentally ordered from this location thinking that it was the Port Moody location. I called back to let them know before they make it. Unfortunately they had already made it. They took care of the bill and understood that I had made an honest mistake. The manager Micheal was very understanding. It shows how well they take care of their costumers.“

2nd time going back for a dinner meal and was not disappointed at all. It's a little pricey, but in my opinion, totally worth it. Steak was cooked to perfection both times and the accompanying pasta was delish.
I do suggest another lager option on tap though, 🍻“

“Planning to have a small wedding reception here in the future, so my partner and I tried the food out and oh my goodness the FRIES and POTATOES were seasoned so beautifully!!!! However, my partner didn’t like the food.. he got the steak and it was well done as opposed to medium rare.

Beautiful place though! Patio is gorgggg. Parking is kinda weird and somewhat limited if you come here on a busy day so just be warned.“

“Decent place, we went for the crab dinner, which was a really great deal for some decent crab. I was pleasantly surprised by their wine collection.
Only thing id like to note, the place is pretty loud, which i expected, but my grandmother (who came for the crab dinner) was not expecting! Otherwise great, fast service and decent food“

“Very quiet local conveniently located near the river. Beautiful scenery just outside the door. There is outdoor seating and it is family friendly. We had a couple of appies and a couple of drinks. The drinks were cold and the food was hot. They had nice atmosphere and good service. We will visit again sometime.“

“Came here for a spontaneous date night. Spacious eating area and live band on weekends so that was nice. Food was really good. The Well Burger is solid. Homemade 6oz patty with a nice char on the outside. Service was a bit slow (we were there about an 1h30mins) however they were hosting what looked like a Christmas staff party for a large group so it was understandable. I also felt like the portion size for the fries that came with the burger was a tad small but everything was hot and fresh so overall it was delicious. Would definitely return!“
