“Great place, really good food and service, plenty of options to eat and drink. Service was really good from Tim the bartender as the 3 of us sat at the bar be a use the place was packed.

There were reserved sections that were not getting used due to waitress shortage (2 on shift) so to not stretch the staff too thin, about 4 tables (not much) so as we could not find anywhere to sit, we chose the bar.

Had a great time, and we plan on coming back soon.“

“I recently had the pleasure of trying out The Social Tavern, and I must say, the experience was quite memorable despite a small hiccup with our takeout order. We ordered a variety of dishes to enjoy at home, but unfortunately, upon unpacking our order, we realized our pizza was missing. Given how much we were looking forward to trying their pizza, this was a bit disappointing. However, what followed truly showcased the excellent customer service at The Social Tavern. When we called to inform them about the missing pizza, the owner personally apologized and promptly delivered the pizza to our home. Not only did he deliver the pizza, but he also included a complimentary appetizer to make up for the inconvenience. When the pizza arrived, it was clear that the wait was worth it. It was one of the best pizzas I've had in Surrey – perfectly cooked with a delicious crust and generous, fresh toppings. The complimentary appetizer was a delightful bonus and further demonstrated their commitment to customer satisfaction. The Social Tavern turned what could have been a negative experience into a positive one through their outstanding service and exceptional food quality. “Food at Jolly Mac's is consistently very good. service is always friendly. One issue is that I have been shopping at the Liquor Store for 17 years. They always had tax and deposit included in the prices. Suddenly their prices have been changed to not have tax and deposit. I am not sure why this was done. It was always better to know the price you see is the price you pay. I think this was a poorly thought out decision.“

Staff and patrons were all welcoming and friendly, the place had something going on nearly every night of the week and AL the doorman was a pleasure who accommodated you. If I’m ever over that part of the world again I’ll be sure to pop back in.“

“I was at the Horse and Ryder pub for dinner and a live show. It happened to be Darren Lee and Mario the entertainers. This was the best entertainment our group has seen in 2 years. They interacted with the audience and made us all part of the show. It was amazing. Last but not least was the amazing staff on. Our server Samantha was one if the best we have seen in ages. Handled our two tables with ease and a smile. Such a pleasant girl. She was awesome. Her lovely smile made us feel so welcome. When you have Darren Lee and Mario again please let us know. “Went with my friends during lunch on Saturday. Lots of seats available, which was great.
Service was great! We asked to watch a specific soccer game, and they put it on for us.
The only reason for a 4 star - is the food. We ordered party size nachos & cheese - it was fine. Not the best taste that I had, but was a decent size. Also ordered burgers, which were a bit “dry”. But for the price it was good. Just not as good as it was when we had it last time.
Anyway, I’d definitely go there again, probably would order something else, not the burger.“

“This a great Langley pub in the industrial part of town. The staff is polite, friendly, attentive and on the ball with their service. The food is excellent with the buffalo wings and densely packed nachos being my favourite. The drinks are always cold and delicious with variety ranging from beer to fruity cocktails. The pub is large with plenty of room and well lit, clean washrooms. It also has a covered patio to spend summer evenings in without the glaring sun wearing you down.“

“Weekday lunch specials are great in quality and value! They essentially knock off $2 to $3 depending on the special that you get, and it's different everyday which keeps things interesting! We recently tried their baked chicken penne (in curry sauce) which was delicious! Their Neptune burger was tasty as well! Lastly, their service has been consistently good!

Parking: Plenty of parking spaces during lunch time on weekdays. It can get very busy on weekends.“

“Came here with my girlfriend we just got a bunch of appies to share, dynamite roll and the avocado roll, deep fried cauliflower, garlic fries and lettuce wraps . Everything tasted delicious it was the perfect amount for the two of us, our waiter was super nice and attentive, it wasn’t that busy when we went so the service was really fast.“

“I have to give ????? because, this pub has karaoke events almost on in two/three days, Disc Jokey is changing everyday, food is tasty, wings are really good.

I visited there on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights in a row. Stuffs are friendly and they visit you most of the time if you need something else or if you like the food.

Prices are good.

Atmosphere is okay. This pub is not a huge place, but it is not also super crowded so, that’s okay if you go alone or with a friend.

Only the thing, I tried 2 different cocktails. Taste was good but I couldn’t feel alcohol. Maybe it was too dry (I tried vodka and rum), so I prefer beer.“

The environment was cozy, warm and comfortable, however the people behind us were very hands on with each other and made us slightly uncomfortable . “I saw a few posts that said some horrible things about this place and we almost didn’t go. I went because my buddy had been a few times and never had a problem. All the staff were very helpful, friendly and no problem people. Kitchen super prompt and drinks I had were delicious. I actually had pisco piña coladas lol it was a summer day on the deck . I think there are some competitors posting nasty comments to impact their business so I felt I needed to post this. My reviews are all straight honest if you read them . Not a shill ?“

“Very quiet local conveniently located near the river. Beautiful scenery just outside the door. There is outdoor seating and it is family friendly. We had a couple of appies and a couple of drinks. The drinks were cold and the food was hot. They had nice atmosphere and good service. We will visit again sometime.“

“Came here for a spontaneous date night. Spacious eating area and live band on weekends so that was nice. Food was really good. The Well Burger is solid. Homemade 6oz patty with a nice char on the outside. Service was a bit slow (we were there about an 1h30mins) however they were hosting what looked like a Christmas staff party for a large group so it was understandable. I also felt like the portion size for the fries that came with the burger was a tad small but everything was hot and fresh so overall it was delicious. Would definitely return!“

“This place is amazing!!! They turn into a nightclub on weekends. I went on a Friday night for the After Dark Halloween Party, and I had an absolute blast. The servers were great, and the DJ was playing epic tunes! I danced the night away. I'm so excited to have my birthday party here!!! I also love all the artwork on the walls/ceiling, AND they have a little arcade section, too, which is awesome!“
