“Had breakfast here while waiting for a car repair in the area. I've always wanted to try it as I've heard good things. It was busy at 10am on a Tuesday but i was able to get a seat near the back. Its simply decorated and layed out like a little diner. They have a decent menu with typical breakfast items, including waffles and Benny's. I usually go for one of these options but I didn't go for the Benny's because it said it came with cheese sauce and not the traditional hollandaise (which I love!). I got the strawberry and whip waffle with a coffee. The prices are very good and affordable which is comforting. My waffle was $9.20 which is pretty cheap compared to other places. It was a bit chewy, not fluffy and came to the table kind of cooled. It wasn't the best waffle I've had but it was ok. There was one server for the whole place and she was busy but very friendly and doing her best. I would like to try it again and try some other items to give a full review.

HOWEVER:
- There is no self-serve pop fountain. All newer locations are like this. McDonald's is phasing out self-serve pop fountains :middle-finger-emoji:.
- There is a Middle Eastern lady who will always make you park if you use the drive thru! She's nice enough but the parking lot sucks. Beware!”

You order at the front and as the sandwich or wrap is being made, you pay at the cashier counter on the left. We got the schnitzel sandwich with a hamburger soup and a chicken caesar wrap with the cream of mushroom soup. It was so filling and one of the best places to eat at in this industrial area. Definitely my go to cafe whenever I'm in the area for projects.”

“I went to the Vancouver branch some years ago. I remember it being really good, so I visited the Coquitlam branch. It did not disappoint.

We ordered the beef rolls, pan fried pork, sweet and sour chicken, young chow fried rice, vegetarian noodles, hot and sour dumplings, a s Xiao long bao. Everything's really good.

The only thing I didn't like about is how cold it is inside the restaurant. They had portable heaters on but it wasn't enough to make the whole restaurant warm. Probably their heater wasn't working that day.

But other than that, we enjoyed eating in Peaceful restaurant in Coquitlam.

Vegetarian options: Yes they have vegetarian options as my daughter is vegetarian, we didn't have a hard time choosing food for her.”

The food is good, good sized portions. Great combinations for single eaters as well! I recommend the almond chicken, sweet chili chicken and wonton soup.

They did at one point have a delivery service (not sure anymore) that I wouldn't recommend, they guy couldn't find my house and I had to go meet him on the main road.

Not really a place to eat in as it is a very small dining room and more of a take out joint.

Parking: The parking lot is small and is shared with 4 other companies. Depending on the time of day you go, there is always plenty of parking.

Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair friendly parking. But there is a slight curb to step up to and a ramp further down. The door is heavy, no automatic door opener.”

The pineapple under the sea frosty tastes like mango pudding in the form of a vanilla frosty that is not too sweet. It was delicious but oddly had no pineapple flavour at all.

The Dave’s triple was meaty and amazing. In my opinion, Wendy’s is like the In and Out of Canada with such fresh burger patties with lettuce, tomato, onions, and cheese. You can customize their burgers however you like . The cheeseburger with added lettuce, tomato, and onions was great too. Great kid’s meals too!”

“What a FANTASTIC place to hold an event! We held an engagement party at Bevees for 30 people and it went super well. What really stands out is the space is beautiful with such a great vibe so we didn't need many decorations at all, and Racquel, the owner, and the staff were fantastic & friendly, and it was very affordable.

The space was very comfortable for 30 people (and a kid and a baby) - lots of comfortable seating and standing room.
There is a smaller back room where we had the food tables.
And the parking lot is free with lots of spaces.

We brought in our own food (some catered and some simple finger food we bought ourselves), added a few decorations, did a few simple games/activities and our guests had a great time! We got many comments from guests on how unique and beautiful the space is, and they found the drinks delicious. Bevees had printed a customized drink menu for our event, and it was really fun for guests to explore the menu and select their drinks.

We wondered how guests would react to having a NA party, because our guests are a mix of drinkers and non-drinkers, and interestingly, they all really liked it and thought it was unique and just fine without alcohol.

For someone who doesn't plan parties often, my experience with this event was really good! Racquel makes the planning enjoyable and she has good ideas that help a lot.
