“The quality of the food, the flavour and the pride that gets put into every morsel makes me want to eat there 6 days a week”
“Pomodoro Pizza in PoCo is fantastic! Their pizzas have such unique and creative flavour options — not your average menu. We ordered 12 pizzas for a party, and they came in large insulated bags, perfectly hot and fresh. I love that the slice sizes vary — it’s great for a group since everyone can pick the size that fits their appetite.
The only small frustration was that the boxes weren’t labeled, which made it tricky with allergy concerns, but everything else was spot-on. The pizza itself is high quality, never greasy, full of flavour, and clearly made with great ingredients.
And the ranch — wow. Seriously the best ranch I’ve ever had in the Lower Mainland. It’s dangerously good! Highly recommend Pomodoro for anyone who loves top-notch pizza with personality. Worth every penny!”
“First time visit on May 13. Service was Great! Food was exceptional. Looked great ; Tasted Greater! Will be back.”
“Sushi Mi is hands down the best Japanese 🍣restaurant we’ve ever been to! The place is always spotless—crispy clean every single time—and the food is incredibly fresh and high quality. The service is absolutely amazing: the staff are attentive to every detail, genuinely kind, polite, and make you feel truly welcome. We’ve been loyal customers for years, and after eating here, we honestly don’t want to go anywhere else. Outstanding food, outstanding service, and a consistently wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

“From an omakase perspective, the value for what you get is the best you'll find in the lower mainland. Keith and Chika do an amazing job of personalizing the experience and show how much they genuinely care about your experience and how passionate they are about their craft. The freshness and quality of the fish/seafood is top notch. You won't be disappointed. 10/10 recommend.”
“Had dinner with some special friends on Sunday night and the evening was so enjoyable. We were greeted and seated by Dani the Manager who was able to seat us in a quiet cozy table. We enjoyed the crispy chili tofu, warm spinach dip with perfect garlic bread, and california rolls for appetizers. Following this was an amazing variation of mains from the cajun over roasted salmon (amazingly tender), tuna poke bowl, truffle tortellini, and the black truffle butter steak. We were there for about two hours enjoying our meal. Our server was wonderful, and we never felt rushed or ignored, despite the night being very busy. Overall, I was so pleased with the evening and look forward to our next visit.”

“My kids looove popping boba, and unfortunately its hard to find so we ordered from here pretty regularly. Was just about to order again but they must have changed the delivery range and it's no longer available in my area :'( so sad.. really good bubble tea though”
“Heard good things about this restaurant so we gave it a try. Monday is happy hour time and we both had the schnitzel with cabbage for 15 bucks. Sorry no pictures. Everything was delicious. Definitely will be back.”
“Always have amazing service, food and drinks. Can't go wrong with the lunch special!
Brought my baby and they brought him his own child friendly plate and cup:')”
“pulled pork skillet and green grape ade. not too salty or greasy and nice crispiness on the bread and potatoes. I usually dislike sweet potato but I liked it in this dish. green grape ade had a slight sour kick which I really enjoyed. good portions. definitely coming back again!”

“It's my regular stop whenever I’m in the neighbourhood. I’m still happy to give this place 5 stars overall, with 4 stars for food and service. Most of the time their dishes are delicious and beautifully presented. The lunch special I had — sushi, salad, ramen, assorted tempura and spinach with black sesame dressing — was well balanced, artistic, and an amazing value at $19!!
That said, quality control can be inconsistent. On one visit, the pork in the ramen had an off smell and was quite dry, which made it hard to swallow. I hope they tighten this up, because when they’re on point, the experience is truly great and I’d love to enjoy every visit just as much.”
“My friends and I always go to amigos for breakfast/brunch. The food is always delicious and at such a good price too. I usually get the eggs and pancakes and my friends get the waffles and fruit. The ingredients are fresh and the food comes quickly within 10-15 minutes. The servers have always greeted us with warmth and kindness. I highly recommend amigos for anyone looking for a new place to try!”
“5 stars are simply not enough for Sushi On!
The food is outstanding, the customer service is warm and attentive, and the atmosphere is always perfect. Every visit feels special.
A heartfelt thank you to the kitchen chef, who knows my preferences by heart — that personal touch makes the experience truly exceptional.
Highly recommended!”
“It is a great pizza joint. The pizzas that are available are quite unique, but very flavorful and tasty. You can dine in, or order online and pickup to go. The crust is unlike any other pizza joint I have ever tried. It is crispy and quite light. I liked it. They do not scrimp on the toppings. The pizza is very good, but quite expensive.”

“Amazing buffet! Lots of selection. Staff are very friendly and making sure the buffet is refilled. I highly recommend.”
“Was at the Arms on Saturday and left something important there by mistake🫣. Realized on Sunday where it was and frantically called. They were so kind and reassuring that it was tucked away safe for my return! Not ONLY do they have the best wings in the Tri-Cities, but also the best staff❤️ Thank you!”

“The girls that work at 1502 2150 Broadway in Port Coquitlam are the best they all know my order when I come in and also when I go through the drive through there names are Komal she’s the best and Mandeep pooja Khush Lagan they are outstanding people you should be very happy with these girls they should get a medal love you guys”
“I think that this Tim Horton’s location is my most favourite out of all of them in the Tri-Cities, the staff are friendly and actually have the knowledge not to mess up your order, the atmosphere doesn’t really get that busy and the food is the classic chef’s kiss Canadian comfort food. If you’re not feeling like Coffee today? No problem! There is a Wendy’s next door in the same exact building like an indoor food court with 2 restaurants!”
“We all like to see the impact of our partners in supporting so many social initiatives and ecological projects. What makes it a lot easier to recommend is that it is a good quality cup of coffee to give to our guests. ☕”
“Great brewery with a chill atmosphere!
Plenty of parking, clean space, and a choice between indoor seating or a nice outdoor patio. The beer selection was solid, with options ranging from light lagers to IPAs. We ordered the popcorn, chicken wings, and poutine everything was tasty, especially the wings but I do wish there were a few more food options on the menu. Staff was friendly and the overall vibe was relaxed and welcoming. It’s a bit of a drive for me, but I’d definitely drop in again if I’m in the area.”
Takeout Restaurants
“Attention Donaire and shawarma lovers!
***I love that they crisp up the meat on the flat top grill just before serving it to the customer. The additional texture adds a better mouth feel to the experience. This step is indeed a very nice touch that most places wouldn't bother with***
The portions are a decent size here.
The spanikopta had a generous amount of cheese inside the flaky crust.
The samosas were also a larger size (compared to alot of other similar establishments) They're medium spicy, so I ordered tzatziki as a dip to cool down the spice level. It was lovely.
I didn't get the most attentive server.
But as I've eaten here only once, I'll have to return to get a better scope of customer service.
I'd recommend this spot if you're in the area.”
“El Cartel ‘s incredibly tasty Mexican fusion food was a hit with our guests at my milestone birthday celebration. Booking a food truck takes the stress out of hosting an event and definitely makes the clean up easier. RJ is easy to work with, and his professional delivery made our party a great success. Excellent variety and generous portions served right on schedule for 28 guests. Thanks RJ.”

“Best Japanese restaurant in Port Coquitlam. My colleagues and I come here for lunch. Good food, friendly staff. Only con is sometimes the wait for your food can be long if it's busy.”
“Japanese-owned restaurant. A go-to spot when I’m craving authentic Japanese food in Port Coquitlam. I don’t usually like raw meat or fish, but their sashimi is so fresh that even I can enjoy it. I recommend calling ahead for a reservation before you go.”
“I ordered the catering for the church lunch. The food was delicious and fresh, with a variety of sides, including soup and rice. The service is amazing; ordering and organizing were an easy process. They helped me navigate the order and provided a fast response. I would order again and highly recommend!!”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“Good food good music good vibes! Grilled chicken bahn mi sandwich, spicy beef noodle pho, seafood pho, grilled shrimp vermicelli with vegetarian spring roll, chicken salad roll and shrimp salad roll plus avocado smoothie and caramel flan were the best! Very nice ambiance, we loved the jazz music in the background and the wash rooms were so clean! The servers were nice as well. Thank you Mr. Pho! Travelling from Vancouver to PoCo was so worth it! We’ll be back for sure. 👍 👍👍”

“My husband and I had been a frequent customer since this establishment opened, and the quality of the food has never disappointed. I also want to give a special shout-out to the staff (girl with glasses- i'm sorry i didn't get your name) at the counter. Though I initially misunderstood her demeanor, she is actually very kind and dedicated. It’s clear she works incredibly hard, and I truly appreciate the service she provides. This is a fantastic local spot that I recommend to everyone.”
“Nav was awesome at Burrito Bar! She really took care of me and made sure my burrito came out exactly how I wanted — packed with flavor, fresh ingredients, guac, and extra meat. Super friendly and attentive, made the whole experience even better. Appreciate the great service, Nav — I’ll definitely be back!”
“We come from South Delta weekly for sports, and nothing is better than their hot sweaty faces when they see “the box”. In the 45-60 min to get home at 9:30-10, they recharge and are ready for shower and bed. I finally learned to get my own pizza if I don’t want to lose a hand!”
“Fantastic doesn't even cover it. I knew the cookies would look good, that's why I went with them but I genuinely wasn't expecting them to SMELL and TASTE good. Cookies with this type of icing/decorating are usually hard bland but these were crunchy yet soft and oh so flavourful.”
“I had the Pain au Chocolat and the ham, cheese, egg croissant and they were both delicious! Making room for my cheesecake stuffed cookie that also looks glorious. Fantastic portion sizes. I’ve tried a ton of gluten free in my 2 decade journey, and that Pain au Chocolat is the best I’ve come across. Cheers from a visiting Alberta girl!”
“This place is Port Coquitlam's Secret !!! The Best Cannolis you will ever try! I have had the Best cakes and pastries and macaron's here. You will not be disappointed. I did not even know about the upstairs.Their cakes for an event are amazing and Fresh. The staff are wonderful and they will always try to find what you are looking for. If you are looking for Perfection this is the place. My guests are always swooning over their desserts and pastries. 5 STAR!!”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I have known Sahar Bakery since its very beginning, and it has been a joy to watch it grow. This lovely family-run business pours heart and dedication into everything they create. Each recipe is thoughtfully crafted, a true labour of love that you can taste in every bite. Their products are not only delicious but also beautifully presented, reflecting a deep sense of care and creativity. You are always welcomed with a smile, which makes every visit a delightful experience. Sahar Bakery stands out for its innovation, quality, and warmth.”

“WOW! I must say this chocolate is not only the best I have ever had but it brought me back to my childhood! The milk chocolate bar (salted & non) is out of this world. It's unbelievable to have this taste if chocolate again when all chocolate bars are so waxy and processed! The staff are extremely friendly and directed me to try other popular favorites. You must go try a chocolate bar from Charlie chocolate factory, no wonder you guys have been around for 50 years! Excellent!! thank you”
“Went here for the first time, we drove out from Delta to try it and it didn’t dissapoint. Pizza was amazing and the garlic bread was very good. We had a wait to get in, but was so worth it. So few places offer anchovies. Only thing I would suggest is updating the menu on Google maps as its a little outdated, some items are changed and prices are different. But everything else was top notch. I would recommend it if you want a really good pizza.”

“Ordered 3 spicy beef and 1 chicken...the chicken 🙌🏼, the beef was glutinous, but the pastry was outstanding! We’ve been spoiled with spicy Luke’s in Ottawa that has been extinct for years..Luke Campbell was an institution in Ottawa..my hubby makes an amazing scotch bonnet sauce that marries well with patties!!”
“After dining at several other restaurants, I can wholeheartedly recommend Poco Sushi Japanese Restaurant for its exceptional food quality, presentation, and outstanding service. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully crafted, delivering an authentic and memorable dining experience. The staff was attentive and welcoming, ensuring my family and I felt well taken care of. Thank you, Poco Sushi, for a fantastic meal we’ll definitely be back and will gladly refer others to your restaurant.”
“Great place for pho with decent portion sizes. The bun bo hue was great amd service was nice. However, the place is sorta old and place needs a bit of renovation and a good AC. Eating here in the summer is sorta humid and hot which could lower the experience of eating dine-in. I might not come back to dine indoors but will probably be visiting this place for takeouts. One other unique thing about this pho place is that its probably the safest pho you will ever be in as you got the security of the police next door and the court right across the street.”
“I’ve become a regular customer here, and the food and service never disappoint. I first tried their biriyani, which was absolutely delicious—flavorful, aromatic, and perfectly cooked. Recently, I had their lunch special butter chicken along with a lassi, and it was amazing. The butter chicken was rich and creamy with just the right balance of spices, and the lassi was fresh and refreshing. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which makes the whole experience even better. Consistently great food and excellent service—highly recommended!”
“As a senior with a small appetite, finding easy to prepare meals is a challenge. Recently Imwas amazed to heat my son who since childhood has been the ultimate picky-eater rave about this product made me curious to try it. Praise from a guy whose microwave stil had its price tag on it quite amazed me. Regrettably the product was unavailable in stores near me but eventually my local supermarket…not a huge brand name brought some in for me. Try it, like me and my fussy son you will be a convert to the BC made product.”
“Small place with great food for a great price. Only my husband is actually able to eat everything, so there's always leftovers too! Love their setup. They have a bell at the table so you can click it when you need anything or when you are ready to order. Everyone has always been friendly. Very busy for such a small place”
“Place is quiet and clean, very nice atmosphere and decorations. Burrito tastes like what you’d get if you made one at home. You get a free brownie if you leave a review :) price is also good for a meal deal on Sunday with a side of your choice, fountain drink and a burrito or bowl.”
“I reserved Valentines Dinner for my wife 2 weeks in advance. When we arrived today we were offered a table or booth . I suggested booth as its more private plus you get a better view of the many tv screens playing sports in the background.
My wife had a virgin mojito & I had a virgin caesar to drink.
I ordered the Dinakis Special which was 3 skewers - chicken, prawns & beef with rice , greek salad , potatoes & pita . It was $30 which tasted amazing & I had left overs.
My wife had some chicken dinner & she also loved it.
I highly recommend this place. Restaurant is clean, large portions & staff is very friendly.”
“Had dinner here last night. Great food. Good atmosphere. Great service.”
“Maria's European Deli & Perogies are the best in this Greater Vancouver Area. Everything is natural like our grandmothers use to do ... The big food industry are preparing everything with additives and chemicals for bigger profits but not for maintaining healthy consumers.”
“my all time favorite restaurant...before covid...I will let you know after tomorrow's lunch 🥰😋😋❤”

“Welcome to PoCo! I’ve had your chicken before, but my hubby and MIL hadn’t, so we ordered the 13-piece Feast… you’ve got three new fans! The chicken was crispy, moist and delicious; the Taters were yummy, and the coleslaw was the right combo of crunchy and tangy. Can’t wait to order again!”
