“Ordered from their website on a Saturday night. Easy to order & ready on time for pick-up. Nigiri was great for the price. The roll was just okay. Cone was also just okay.
Would definitely order more nigiri here next time!“

“Tried out this noodle spot recently and really enjoyed it. The staff were super friendly and quick to recommend some of their most popular dishes, which made ordering easy. The noodles were fresh and flavorful, with rich flavour and generous toppings. The vibe was casual and cozy, perfect for a relaxed meal with friends. Would definitely come back“

“This is a hidden gem. Very reasonably priced, extremely flavoursome broth and rice noodles have a great texture. You have to get past the lack of service. They're not rude but just not the typical Canadian restaurant follow up so may be a bit confusing and tough to get service if you're not used to this. To be honest I prefer that. It's never really busy so always able to get food fast and never have to wait.“

“Had a quick spicy BBQ pork bowl with white rice after getting my hair cut across the street.
It was just spicy enough without being too bad. Liked the kimchi on it most of all.
Restaurant was clean and modern. Bathrooms were clean and the young lady behind the counter was really helpful.
Average meal is about $20, but Tuesdays is a deal day where you can get away with 10 95 'pokeritos'. Also, pro tip -- if you want just a small nip -- think one meat and a few toppings you can get some value off ordering a 'kids menu size'“

“Great hidden cafe/restaurant that is walking distance from Braid Skytrain station. I’m fortunate to live a short 10 minute walk away from Babs, so I usually stop by 1-2x a week for their delicious breakfast and Korean food.
The front of house staff member/manager (i think her name is Jane?) is really nice as well! 10/10 recommend Babs for those who live a short walk or drive away :)“

“I drive all the way from Abbotsford for EMW, it is my absolute favourite! I always order the beef stir fry with only broccoli and the owner always makes it special as well as comes out to greet me. I HIGHLY suggest you give this place a try! You’ll be hooked. Love love love!“

“Did takeout for Mother’s Day lunch
Good Agedashi Tofu
Very good prawn tempura
EXCELLENT Jalapeno Bomb( new item)😀
AWFUL IKA KARAGE(new item)😕
The IKA was VERY GREASY, fried for too long? and had weird taste? (hubby’s comments)..I could not eat it…Sauce was okay.
We have eaten Red Shiso food often and were looking forward to the new items today- the bomb was SO, SO good!
BUT the IKA was SO, SO disappointing -maybe today was an off day for the IKA ? Hubby did not want to complain…But I think the restaurant should know…we certainly will not try it again-
I phoned and spoke to the manager- I gave her the good comments for the three excellent to good items, and told her about the IKA- she apologized for my experience, which I appreciated, and she made it right.
It may be awhile before we go back there, but we will go back eventually because the food is usually very good… we just WILL NOT get the IKA karage….but will definitely get the Jalapeno Bomb!“

“Great athuentic tasting Pad Thai! The portion size was very good and, I love that they gave a decent amount of prawns! My friend ordered a chicken curry dish with rice. She also got a good portion size and enjoyed the flavors! Will definitely order from here again!“
“Dr. Phan is an exceptional doctor. Very good with kids that are naturally nervous around doctors. The facilities at the island Foot Clinics are very clean and orderly and you do not feel intimidated at all. I'd be bringing my child here as he is in need of a very good podiatist. Found that here at the Island Foot Clinics.“

“One of the frequently asked questions in any city is simple, where do you eat when you want something honest?
Out in Coquitlam’s Hanin Village, surrounded by one of the Lower Mainland’s best Korean food scenes, sits Wang Ga Ma warm lights, comforting aromas, and the kind of place that reminds you food is supposed to heal something in you.
The dining room carries a quiet charm. Cultural artwork lines the walls, the staff move with effortless hospitality, and there’s no pretension to any of it. It feels lived in. Familiar. Like the restaurant has been waiting for you to come in from the rain.
Then the food arrives.
The yukgaejang comes out fierce and unapologetic deep, savory, rich with heat and soul. The seafood tofu soup bubbles at the table like it’s still alive, carrying that unmistakable warmth that crawls into your chest on a cold day. Add a spoonful of rice, some complimentary kimchi on the side, and suddenly the outside world matters a little less for a while.
This is comfort food in the way comfort food is supposed to work generous portions, bold flavor, no unnecessary theatrics.
And honestly, next time I come back, I’m ordering a cold beer with it. Because meals like this deserve one.
What makes Wang Ga Ma stand out isn’t just affordability though it absolutely is budget friendly it’s the feeling that nobody here is trying to impress you. They’re just trying to feed you well. Sometimes that’s all you need“

“It wasn’t even on the menu but they were so kind, they made this out of my idea👍🏻
The roasted pork was perfectly crispy and rich of moist(I don’t understand for those who said it’s dry lol, it’s juicy). I recommend wontons(only when they’re in the soup).
Talking about flavors, honestly, I expected to get more flavorful taste from the pork and noodle(good thing they have condiment aside on the table)…but the warm soup was so comforting.
The waiters are all Chinese and some are pretty old, I gotta hold a bit of my patience tho😌
Btw, this is what I ordered: Roasted pork on top of the noodles&wontons with the soup aside(22$)“
