“My partner and I arranged to have high tea today and the experience was just PERFECT 👌. They had a table setup for us in the corner where there was lots of natural light from outside and the table just looked so cutely prepared for us. The staff were very friendly and quick to assist us. We chose the Strawberry Sundae tea which was infused with so many flavours making it very delightful to sip on. And when the bakery items were brought over there was a good assortment of yummy foods. The top of the tier was all of the desserts and the bottom was all of the pastries. Both of us did get a bit of a sugar rush, to be expected of a bakery haha. We both highly recommend Cassandra Cake Co. for high tea as well as any custom bakery requests.“

“After finishing my hearing test a few doors down I wanted to grab a coffee for my trip back to Maple Ridge. I went into a name brand store, was ignored and left. Then I spotted this gem. I ordered my usual black coffee and watched as someone actually ground the fresh beans and then made my coffee in a French press. I joked with them that that's how I make my coffee at home. I added a blueberry lemon scone and had a nice drive home. All 3 staff were a pleasure to deal with, and my snack was delicious.“

We had hands-on instruction about making small dacarons and a mini-cake, and the experience was so enjoyable, both in instruction and atmosphere. “This is our first visit to your store. We picked up: red pepper crostata, carrot cake, large Chicken Pot pie, Merry Berry pie and a Caramel Macchiato icebox.
I called the Burnaby store this morning and a lovely lady set aside a Merry Berry pie for me despite it being busy. 🙏🏽 We really appreciated this. With a newborn, we didn't have time to place a pie earlier. Our neighbours really love your pies and shared 2 kinds with us on Halloween (including the Caramel Macchiato cheesecake).
You have a lovely store and nice employees. Prices are on the higher end for pastries and pies.

There was a bit of confusion around the Caramel Macchiato because we asked the lady for the CM cheesecake and were instead given a CM icebox. We only realized this when we were sitting outside in the car.
Just a bit of feedback for the store employee:
If the CM icebox isn't an option listed on your website (yes we checked again), it would be good to clarify if the customer wanted the CM cheesecake or CM icebox. Initially we wanted to return it but we didn't feel great about it likely being tossed out. So we'll give the CM icebox a try. Overall still a good experience given the customer service during the initial phone call. We look forward to trying the other goodies when we get home.“

“recently i purchased banana loaf. whole wheat cranberry muffins/ cheese scones/ raisin scones and shortbread cookies which are bought every year all were excellent. however, the shortbread were lacking---no butter perhaps? they had a strong taste of the inside of the oven---i had several and composted the rest/ please do not post as everything else was perfect and i shall continue to shop here. with respect“
