“Thank you for such amazin' food ToeDam!!! We give 5 ⭐️'s becoz the second we arrived at ToeDam we were greeted and offered us a table even though we haven't made a reso. She doubled checked if there's reso at 715pm. And they didn't, so we got lucky and got a big table for us. Nova was awesome from leading us to the table and gave us some time b4 placing an order. The tablet was informative and easy to place an order. We ordered the 2 person $97 combo and added $5 lettuce. (Which we find that it was not worth it for 4 piece of lettuce) PLUS, we had to order the DUCK... new on the menu. We ordered a lot of food for 2; but we know that we will save this for our lunch next day. The second the order was submitted our sides came out and BBQ dishes, Soy Bean Soup, Rice, and Duck arrived. Nova and staff was always on it and made sure if we had everything. Honestly, we didn't have to wait for anything. As you all know, there's many Korean BBQ restaurants in Coquitlam. We've tried a few, and tbh this is one we would come back to. Good reason for us to go to coquitlam to eat at ToeDam and grocery shop at HMart. MUST TRY and you won't regret it becoz you have Nova and their team. Great reasonable price for two and we will be back for the sous vide duck... Thanks again we will see you again!!!“

“nice chill place with supportive staff that help you along the way if it's your first time. It's a super solid all you can eat hotpot place that my family enjoys coming to. I highly recommend this place. They also have good lunch sets that I haven't gotten around to trying but the lunch sets are super cheap for what looks like is actually good quality for what you spend.“

“Atmosphere and service was great, order when you're ready from a tablet right at the table. The smoked chicken was great, awesome smoke flavour that's hard to get elsewhere. The fried chicken was good, but not what I think of when I want Korean Fried Chicken. Definitely would go back.“

“Really great Korean drinking restaurant. A wide variety of menu items that are all pretty good. The pork hock is prominently on the menu but it came out just a bit too quickly and so it took away from being able to fully appreciate it. The beer and soju glasses come out nicely frosted and the service is very friendly. Definitely for the Korean crowd. A bit small and dark but good atmosphere.“

“Not the first time here and wanted to try their other options.
Food honestly was surprisingly very good and price was acceptable especially the lunch set meal deal. Seafood pancake was bit more on the greasy side as the wax paper was drenched with oil. Overall a mid 4.
Service was pretty good for a solid 4 with nothing too outstanding.
The atmosphere was pretty good and it was not crowded or noisy. The individual washroom stalls were a surprise and extremely clean and well maintained. High 5 for atmosphere.
Definitely would consider revisiting again.“

“Sylvia was amazing very patient, she explained all the dishes. The food was incredible. You have to try the pork belly, and if you ask very nicely, they’ll give you some of their homemade kimchi, which was amazing as well. What a nice place.“

“I cannot believe that I have not visited this place earlier. Before I ordered it, I asked what the potato noodle is like. And the staff explained to me very well. And I ordered the most popular one at this place. Spiciness was medium and meat was beef. Visual impression of the food was so home and cozy. And the taste was deep and rich. Perfect spiciness. And the best part was noodle. Its texture was between udon noodle and tapioca noodle. Pleasantly chewy and noodle didn't get soggy quickly. I enjoyed this food til the end. The only thing that I was little disappointed was the portion of meat. There was just some pieces but I was so contented with this flavor. Overall, it made my day, and I would happily go back there hopefully every week :)“

“The BBQ pork is always up to standard. It's delicious and al dente. However the lady who served me today was so impolite. I requested less rice for myself and regular for my companion. I asked if I could get a bit more veggie while I requested for less rice. She immediately replied with her long face that you need to pay more for veggie! Ok fine I didn't want more veggie then. Then when I paid for my food, I asked her which one was less rice. She was so blunt responding that she forgot! WAHT?!?! Did she think that I was begging her food? Or was I given food for free? Without the customers, how can your shop sustain for rent and wages and other expenses! That lady needs to be trained her attitude is in this job. If she doesn't understand customers are the key to sustain business, please don't work here. Please go start up your own business that you can shout to the customers.“

“This was such a unique dining experience! I was thrilled! You order a bunch of skewers that range in price and main dishes. We ordered: beef tongue, throat, pork belly, skin, squid, cauliflower, potato, toast, spring rolls, cucumbers and even more squid. Everything was delicious, well spiced and cooked to perfection! Everything came out so fast, it was thrilling to see our table fill up so fast! I love how different cultures have different dining experiences, where you can just sit and chat with friend for hours and pick at your skewers that they keep warm for you at the table.
I will come back here in heartbeat! Its open late and seems to be always busy!“

“I don’t often write reviews (I think I have 4 on my profile?) but in my opinion, this justifies a strong review.
Weekend craving for fried chicken hits, and the reviews looked good, 10 minute drive, so decided to try it out.
In short: SO good.
The pork belly bao was unnnnnnnreal, the soy garlic chicken was super tasty and the spicy chicken was solid.
Small location, seems like a family business (maybe mother and daughter?) who were both very friendly when I picked up the food and the food was ready in 10 minutes like they said.
Definitely coming back ?“

“Had a spicy chicken sandwich and biscuit. It was excellent. Not fine dining, but everything you're looking for from a BBQ joint. Chicken was crispy, sauces tasty. A hint of sweetness. Wouldn't hold up well to doordash, so I wouldn't advise that (crispy chicken and sauce don't mix).
Prices very reasonable.
Was told it would take 10-15 to come out and it took 20. Meh. Worth it.“

“It's a BBQ place, so themain action is on BBQ. Of course, there are other choices to the meal and mostly spicey as its a northern China taste. The BBQ is better tasting than what you might get ordering from UberEats. If you're not a meat lover, these deals may not be as rewarding for you.“

“The food was really good, it was quiet and yet things were messy. The menus were sticky, and not wiped down. The tables outside were sitting there with old food, and all the sauce bottles and paper towel were covered in sticky old food. It was a little off putting when you would grab a condiment bottle and have to look where to put your fingers, then think I’ll just use a paper towel, but the top of the paper towel roll had crusted food on it also as well as finger prints. The food was good 4.5/5- the cleanliness 1/5. It turned me off a bit. Just do a wipe down of the bottles before you serve it to people especially when there isn’t anyone in the building and you have time. Might go back, but will probably order take out to avoid that.“
