“This is one of my favorite coffee shops in the neighborhood. They offer great options for pour over coffee, and during my recent visit, they had two different espresso bean choices as well. Their pastries are amazing; the almond croissant I had was large and definitely worth the price.

The music can be a bit loud, so it might not be the best spot for a business meeting or studying, but it’s still a great place to visit. The only area for improvement would be their customer service.“

“I checked them out when they came to Chilliwack yesterday. I had to see if they were as good as my friends at the The Veganist were claiming. I had the veganator and I was blown away by how good it was. I felt it was better than any animal based burger I had in the past and also no gross nauseous feeling afterward like I used to get from fast food animal products. Win win.“

Everything about my Tonkotsu Ramen was perfectly harmonious. The charshui was the best I have ever had. No stinky pork smell and well marinated. The charshui was better than Ichiran Ramen for sure. I guess the only thing that was lacking was the atmosphere but when the food is so good it really doesn’t matter.“

I simply have to share our fantastic experience with the Columbia Street Sandwich Company in New Westminster! When my son Adam got married on July 5th, we had a large wedding party staying at the Inn at the Quai, and the morning-of fueling was a top priority. We needed a vendor who could not only prepare delicious breakfast and lunch but also deliver it precisely on time to our hotel. And let me tell you, Sam, the owner, and her incredible team absolutely knocked it out of the park!

Breakfast was a dream come true for ten hungry people getting ready for the big day: a perfect combination of delicious breakfast sandwiches, fresh baked goods, a vibrant fresh fruit plate, and a carafe of piping hot coffee. The best part? Sam herself delivered it right on schedule!

Lunch was equally impressive, featuring a delightful mix of mini croissant sandwiches, a hearty veggie plate, and a refreshing assortment of water and juices to wash it all down. And again, delivered on time by Sam!

“One of the best places around. I had the tomato beef and tendon soup and the pork dumplings. Prices are very fair and what was a shock is that the tip percentage started at 10% which I've never seen in restaurants. That was nice to see they don't force a tip. I gave a 20% tip as the service was reflective of that. I recommend this small place to everyone.“

Had the grilled cheese and tomato soup combo. The grilled cheese was pretty nice--generous amount of cheese with a good 'pull', bread was lightly buttered and toasted. Tomato soup was very creamy (as in, it contains a generous amount of cream)--combined, it was a fairly heavy meal. Everything came out hot and fresh. Pricing was very reasonable.

We had our lunch on the patio (another plus). Heads up that this cafe is on the smaller side, so if you're hoping to dine-in with three or more people, lean towards the earlier side of the lunch rush.

The kicker is the staff--it's my first time here but I was warmly greeted by a female employee. I later learned that we shared similar first names! Of course I need to come back--especially because my colleagues strongly recommended the corn soup!“

“The absolute best meat pie I've had yet..Mashed potatoes and cheese on top of the meat pie did me in. The Homer donut is also the best one I've had because the texture is a little chewy and the icing is perfect. Then obviously all the hilarious cookies are awesome as gifts or just to eat. “I tried their fried chicken noodle. Meat portion is 25% of the whole noodle plate.
But I like the taste and texture.

I tried their chicken fried rice and fried chicken with dry peppers.
Fried rice was average and had 20% chicken and 80% rice, I shared with another person as we are small rice eaters.

They have a seating capacity for 12. And tables were already taken on Sunday during lunch hours.
