“This place is definitely a hidden gem in BC! Second time going to Mr. Bros and the food is amazing every time. The atmosphere is quiet and never too busy, with complimentary music in the background. The place is beautifully decorated with funny figurines and frogs, and once again, the food and service amazing! Although the place is small, it is packed full with amazing vibes, workers, and food. Will definitely be coming back again! I would also recommend the tteokbokki with fries, and kimchi fried rice, both are a perfect balance of sweet and spicy they’re my families favourite! 💓“

“Pretty decent and authentic Korean restaurant in North Richmond. We tried the 6 person combo and there was a lot of food! It's cooked in the kitchen instead of BBQ'ing yourself, which is fine for us.
We ordered a little extra just in case and we probably didn't need to as the portions are fairly generous.
Lots of tables and parking, but we went during lunch, so it's hard to say if reservation is needed.“

“Today was our 3rd visit to NamSan . On our first visit we didn't know what to order so my husband asked Jef. Normally we go to places we have been to before and usually order the same items all the time.
Visit 1: Jef suggested # 13 the Sweet BBQ soup with hot pot and #21 the Ox bone soup. I'm low sodium and both dishes were so good. The ox bone soup recipe is Jef's grandmother's, with the broth simmering for hours. The other items are his dad's recipes.
On our second visit on October 1st, Jef suggested #15 Seafood noodle soup and #18 sizzling stone bulgogi on rice. The Seafood soup had a lot of stuff in it and the bulgogi was delicious.
Our visit today, #20 kimchi fried rice with an egg and #21 Ox bone soup which comes with a bowl of rice. I love this soup, it's so good and flavorful with vermicelli, garlic, mochi and sliced meat. It hits the spot on a cold day. We really enjoyed the kimchi rice.
This is a father and son family restaurant with amazing food. Going forward it'll probably be ox bone soup and another dish.“

“This is our regular place for dine out when we visit Aberdeen center. Lots of Korean food + BBQ options to choose from.
Servers, who I notice work there for long term, are so professional and trying to address your needs even when they are super busy.
I am leaving this review because we had dinner on Oct 26th and food was especially great..not that it was not good before.. but was so good that made me leave this review. What's the change?“
“Loved this coffee shop! The staff was super friendly and my drink came out perfect. The place has a really chill vibe—comfortable seating, good music, and just an overall cozy feel. It’s the kind of spot where you can hang out, get some work done, or just relax with a really good cup of coffee. Definitely coming back!“

“I order the pork galbi every time I come here. The meat is tender and very delicious. The side dishes they serve are plentiful, and each one tastes great. They often come by to ask if I need refills. It tasted even better with Korean liquor. All the servers here are cheerful and friendly, which reflects the attitude of the owner or manager. However, there can be a wait, so I recommend going right when they open.“

“Came here for the first time today! My husband and I loved the beef and lamb skewers, as well as the dried tofu rolls — we ordered them extra spicy and they were absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The portion sizes were generous compared to many other places we’ve tried, and we really appreciated being able to adjust the spice level to our liking. The lady working there was also very friendly and welcoming. We’ll definitely be coming back! (:“

“We ordered beef bibimbap. For the price of about $10.50, we were expecting it to be smaller. Well we were wrong, it came in a decently sized take out tray and came with a variety of veggies such as mushrooms, carrots, zucchini, spinach-adjacent leafy green, and bean sprouts. The beef was perfectly marinated and the rice on the bottom actually came charred! The charring was a bit on the strong side and of course would've turned out better if done in stoneware but it did satiate my desire for a bit of a toasty crunch. Overall I'd definitely give this place another go and try their other menu items!“

“We went here for dinner last night with our family of five and it was absolutely incredible! The portions are enormous and the flavors of the soup broths are super delicious. We had both the pork bone soup as well as the spicy beef soup and we loved them. Our teens had the katsu chicken and pork plates and they were so big that even our really hungry 15 year-old could not finish it all. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to have super delicious Korean food, that is well priced in a homey atmosphere. Also, one of the other reviews stated that you had to pay for refills of the bean sprouts side dish, but they have clearly changed their policy as we were offered free refills several times.“

“I recently visited Jjang Korea BBQ in Richmond, and their bargain lunch special is an absolute steal! The Korean fried chicken is crispy and flavorful—definitely one of the best I’ve had. Their kimchi and potato sides are outstanding, perfectly complementing the meal. The beef is tender, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, making it a great spot to enjoy a chill lunch. Free parking adds to the convenience, which is always a bonus in Richmond. Overall, Jjang Korea BBQ offers incredible value without compromising on quality. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Korean BBQ!“

“We first tasted this at a potluck event. So we had to look for it. This spot is not easily seen from Westminster Highway. We got a box of Soy Garlic Chicken and it’s amazingly delicious. The Galbi is a new flavour. And it was a good choice. We ordered the shake shake fries with honey butter and it was perfect. The place is clean with few tables and service was fast.“

“BBQ Chicken in Richmond is a go-to for satisfying Korean fried chicken cravings. The chicken comes out perfectly crispy on the outside while staying juicy inside, with sauces ranging from sweet and sticky to spicy and bold. Portions are solid, making it great for sharing with friends, and the casual setting makes it an easy spot to drop into when you’re in the mood for comfort food done right.“

“Amazing food, generous portions and all wrapped in a friendly atmosphere
Seafood stew, pork belly and beed bibimpap were amazing. The seafood pancake was nice too but a bit too oily.
Our food arrived quickly and was burning hot
The place is small and cozy.“
