“Return visit to Wild Mountain and was not disappointed. Had the gnocchi to start (shared plate) followed by the chicken breast - both were delicious. Appreciated the well curated BC wine list, always an opportunity to try something new. As always, service was friendly and knowledgeable. Farm to table dining at its finest!“
“Driving through Sooke and dropped in for lunch. View is amazing, and space was beautiful. And our server was very kind. I wished the food matched the view and aesthetic. Ordered: the beet salad, New England chowder, west coast chowder, fried oysters and truffle fries. Beet salad could have used more seasoning. Fried oysters tasted frozen, not fresh. Chowder was OK, but couldn’t tell much of a difference between the two outside of some added seafood. Didn’t seem to justify the almost double price difference for the west coast chowder.Would come back for a drink and for the view! Food can use some improvement.“
