“Last time I went to the one on Davie st. in Vancouver I was so disappointed. This morning my husband convinced me to go there again, this time it was really good. our server May was freaking amazing and keep tabs on everyone in her section, our food came quickly and the overall experience this time was very pleasant! “If you are in Vancouver and want an amazing dining experience, we highly recommend Lift Bar and Grill. We dined here for supper on June 3, 2023, and absolutely loved the atmosphere as well as the food! Waterfront dining (they provide indoor/outdoor and roof top dining), with the water and mountain views was spectacular as we watched the sunset on the water. Our server Sean was very pleasant and courteous and made our time there very enjoyable. We started with Caesars and Soughdough Baguette, and then shared a Scallop & Prawns Linguine (we have smaller appetites). Both were absolutely Amazing dishes! The surprise birthday dessert was very much appreciated and delicious! We would say the cost is average for Vancouver restaurant dining. This is not a fast food restaurant, but chef prepared and is reflected in the presentation and taste! We will be back when we visit again!“

“I tried Popeyes for the first time. I tried chicken wings and pickle sandwich plus onion rings and fries. It was my best experience of fried chicken. Although the service was not good as it was very crowded I still recommend trying Popeyes.“

“We had a Celebration of Life in the event room upstairs.
When we came to check the venue out they were very accommodating . Details were all worked out to our satisfaction.
On our day, I can't say enough about the staff. Everything was ready and they were very efficient, polite and friendly.
The food was fantastic.
All in all, I would highly recommend this venue for any kind of get together you may be planning.“

I came back week later with my kids and right away Kevin (the owner) asked me if I wanted the turkey sandwich. I ended up ordering his mom’s homemade wontons. “It's important to remember when visiting Quizine that this is an educational / learning environment for VCC students. I've never had a bad meal from Quizine and I find the prices super reasonable considering what you get. Decent selection of items (although I have to admit that my dietary restrictions are minimal so I can't speak on that front). It can be a little slow when it's busy but, again, that's to be expected.“

“Go to Denny's on Kingsway, Burnaby BC and ask for EVA as your waitress, she is super nice, a real pro and has gorgeous red hair. She is like those old-fashioned attentive waitresses that deserve big tips for being great“

“Dress nicely and drop in for happy hour before it gets too busy. I had a wet martini, nicely prepared, and an imported draft beer from Oregon. Didn’t stay for food because of a prior commitment, but it’s on my list for a follow-up visit.

Wheelchair accessibility: I went down stairs to get there from the street entrance, perhaps there’s an elevator since it’s connected to the Georgia Hotel?“

“I love Bon’s. They have a $3.00 breakfast, for anyone on a budget. The atmosphere is awesome, such a cool place to go to. You get your own coffee and water which I like. It is a family owned establishment, Bon is the dad. For three of us, four plates of food, three coffees was just over $40.00, which is super reasonable. It’s my favourite place to go for breakfast and I highly recommend it. 🧡“

“Saw this place on social media and thought it was worth a try. I kept putting off trying this place, because of the neighborhood that it was in. However, it had a Friday to Sunday happy hour lunch special, so we went. It was pretty amazing.

We ordered:
Single combo ($18.50) - came with a single smash burger, fries and a drink. I looked at the menu after the fact, it was the price of the burger and fries so the happy hour special essentially gives you a free drink.
Double combo ($22.00) - it had two very tasty smashed patties. Like the single, it had pickles, lettuce, tomatoes and an awesome sauce. Also came with fries and a drink.
Hamburger ($10.50) - Had all the dressings and a crispy smashed burger patty.
Onion Rings ($8.00) - it was one of the better onion rings I have had.

The restaurant was clean and there was a free arcade game to play while you wait for your food.

Service was excellent, very attentive and helpful.

“If you're tired of overpriced pretentious restaurants in Vancouver, and want some old school comfort food served by experienced attentive staff, you must try this Vancouver landmark. First time I've been here in 50 years and it will not be the last. The sole waitress was also the hostess, cashier, busser, and coffee refiller. The owner cooked, served and cashier. With restaurants dropping like flies in Vancouver due to high cost and labour shortage, it's amazing to see how efficiently this old school diner is run to keep labour cost and menu prices down.“

“Its a cute small mom & pop type of local restaurant in south Vancouver, the atmosphere is retro type and its in a retro 90s 80s building , has parking lot ,and nearby to bus stops. Its got verity including vegetarian, its more then a breakfast place they also got burgers 🍔, 🍲 soups ,fish and Chips 🍟. “Are at this cute tucked away gem last night. The J*** chicken pizza was outstanding- way better than one we tasted in Jamaica! Sam, the owner and the waitress Natalia are super friendly and excellent hosts. This is a small watery located in a gym so don’t go with expectations for ambience. “Always walked past here never try it before this El furniture restaurant on granvilleStreet in downtown Vancouver ..... its small location for a el furniture restaurant but it's got 🍸 bar , tvs 📺 , booths, outdoor and inside seating areas , ATM 🏧 Machine on site inside this restaurant , lots of drink/ food verity including vegetarian........ staff here are decent service..... my experience & food was good why am giving it 5 stars ( but my friend said his burger 🍔 was under cooked 🍳 he didn't have a good experience here but I had a good experience here compared to him , I give rest of his burger to my fur babies they loved it lol 😆 )........its always packed here on weekends evenings .....the prices here are very reasonable cheap compared to other expensive restaurants in the area .....its got a rock ,retro vibe here ..this location is housed in a older building here on granville Street ..... am very interested in trying other food and drink options here next time i like the verity on the menu and I added the pictures of the menu in my post“
