This morning my husband convinced me to go there again, this time it was really good. our server May was freaking amazing and keep tabs on everyone in her section, our food came quickly and the overall experience this time was very pleasant! “If you are in Vancouver and want an amazing dining experience, we highly recommend Lift Bar and Grill. We dined here for supper on June 3, 2023, and absolutely loved the atmosphere as well as the food! Waterfront dining (they provide indoor/outdoor and roof top dining), with the water and mountain views was spectacular as we watched the sunset on the water. Our server Sean was very pleasant and courteous and made our time there very enjoyable. We started with Caesars and Soughdough Baguette, and then shared a Scallop & Prawns Linguine (we have smaller appetites). Both were absolutely Amazing dishes! The surprise birthday dessert was very much appreciated and delicious! We would say the cost is average for Vancouver restaurant dining. This is not a fast food restaurant, but chef prepared and is reflected in the presentation and taste! We will be back when we visit again!“

“We had a memorial birthday celebration on January 28th at the Olympic Village Tap and Barrel, where the entire team were incredibly attentive to our needs. Our server, Sophie, was so helpful and kind and I can say from experience that her high level of service is rare these days. Thanks to everyone for helping us to make it a special evening.“

“I tried Popeyes for the first time. I tried chicken wings and pickle sandwich plus onion rings and fries. It was my best experience of fried chicken. Although the service was not good as it was very crowded I still recommend trying Popeyes.“

“The homemade wonton noodle soup here is absolutely amazing. I order it every single time I visit — it’s that good. The wontons are fresh, the broth is flavorful, and the noodles have the perfect texture.
The owner is also incredibly kind and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. A cozy spot with great food and great people.“

“It's important to remember when visiting Quizine that this is an educational / learning environment for VCC students. I've never had a bad meal from Quizine and I find the prices super reasonable considering what you get. Decent selection of items (although I have to admit that my dietary restrictions are minimal so I can't speak on that front). It can be a little slow when it's busy but, again, that's to be expected.“

“The best starter I've ever ordered. It was a spicy salmon sushi. So flavorful! The main course was excellent and the dessert was out of this world. The drinks were perfect and our server was charming and attentive. You would be hard pressed to beat the view as well.“

“They are by far one of the greatest places to eat left in Vancouver! This is one of a few places where on a Sunday morning or afternoon you’ll find a lawyer wearing his finest suit sitting with his children eating breakfast and next to him will be too punk rock chicks eating their breakfast. The next booth will have a homeless man that just scraped together his five dollars to get his coffee and breakfast and everybody eats as one as a people together. And the staff are amazing, friendly and have alternative awesome styles all to their own. The decor on the walls is wicked as well with many stickers and tags placed everywhere.! bring your sticker(s) with you and place a couple on the wall to make it feel like home!

First time I've been here in 50 years and it will not be the last. The sole waitress was also the hostess, cashier, busser, and coffee refiller. The owner cooked, served and cashier. With restaurants dropping like flies in Vancouver due to high cost and labour shortage, it's amazing to see how efficiently this old school diner is run to keep labour cost and menu prices down.“

“Just want to say our server had a full room inside and outside on the heated patio. She was also bartending for all of these people, she was serving a lot of big groups by HERSELF and still managed to be efficient, quick, and friendly. That deserves 5 stars and more“

“We were lucky to be served by two amazing gentlemen at the bar last night! We were so well taken care of. Kudos to them. My husband and I came into Vancouver to do some YouTube filming and decided to end our night in your establishment and to be honest we didn’t want to leave! But all good things have to come to an end or they can’t start again. We didn’t have food this time unfortunetly. But we thourly enjoyed ourselves m. The music was AWESOME but just too loud. We sat at the end of the bar and it felt like my ear was being blown off, but in most def not in my 20’s 😆

“My husband and I sometimes get breakfast from here. We like the menu options that they have, and they are a 5-minute drive from our home. Unfortunately, the service is hit or miss. Some of the young ladies at the front are very friendly and some not as much. We're not really bothered by that. Too much because usually we're just there to pick up our food. We have been here for dining in the past as well, and the service has been pretty good. I like that the food is consistent from one location to the next, so you know what you're getting when you order it.“
