“After much deliberating, I got the chocolate hazelnut tea, no added sugar, with nut cream. And omg let me tell you this nut cream is the best thing I have ever put in my mouth (don't censor me, HappyCow). It was so creamy yet light and just had the perfect amount of sweetness. With all the fun and unusual flavors on the menu, I realized in hindsight that I had ordered what is essentially just a boujee hot chocolate, but I have no regrets. It was AMAZING! I savored every sip.“

“This is my favourite bubble tea shop! The price and taste cannot be beat. All the flavours are made with fresh fruit and the pearls are very flavourful, often freshly cooked as well. Not only are the flavours delicious, but there is such a wide range to choose from- my personal favourite is guava. The woman who runs the store is also very kind and welcoming! I have recommended L&G to many friends and they immediately love it as much as I do. Everyone should go to L&G, truly a beautiful gem in this city!!!“

“This is becoming one of my new go to spots for bubble tea. They have great and enticing flavours, friendly staff, a welcoming atmosphere and a modern design which makes it stand out to me as it’s located in an area that you’d assume is on the less welcoming side. Overall a great experience my only complaint is the price feels a bit steep at times, however everything is expensive these days.“

“Had the Fresh Mango Coconut Milk ($8.24 with tax). It was good! You can adjust ice and sugar levels for most drinks, including this one! I didn't want to consume dairy, so you can substitute their coconut pudding for their coco water jelly, a nice hybrid between coconut jelly and grass jelly. It's impossible not to compare the drink to Macu Tea, which I do prefer for their addition of grapefruit & the tea jelly flavour in the King of Mango. However, Cocobay was a good option in the area!

The mango was sweet enough, and the coconut milk was rich. There was only one staff member around 7 pm on a Sunday so there was a short wait as they prepared other orders. Friendly service, however, and she was able to answer menu questions about dietary preferences!“

“Definitely one of the best boba places in Vancouver! The owners (a sweet family) are incredibly nice and friendly. The drinks are great. The environment is very comfortable and clean with plenty of seats. The place is also well decorated with kpop stuffs so it’s even better if you’re a kpop fan!“

“My friend and I decided to order two drinks from this shop because the name caught our eye; we thought it might be new. We got one Grapefruit Fruit Tea and one Oolong Milk Tea with pearls.

The oolong was SO good, super fragrant and full of tea flavor. The grapefruit tea even had real fruit inside! I would recommend ordering it at 50-70% sweetness so you can actually taste the grapefruit vibe.

Everything was perfect, from the packaging to the taste! Absolutely amazing. Can’t wait to actually visit the store on a nice sunny day and sip like a main character. 🌸✨“

The menu is incredible- I’ve tried so many of their drinks and they’re all delicious (matcha, hojicha, jasmine tea, banana milk) the ingredients always taste fresh and each drink is made with love. The staff are always super friendly even when they are busy. Highly recommend.“

“Should've listened to my homie and gotten my passport photos done here to begin with! Went to London Drugs initially because it was closer and was said to be super cheap (about the same), but the photo quality there was dull and lighting really flat. Came here to redo them and 1000% times better, sharper photos and more flattering lighting. He was also really nice and patient with me going through the options. “My daughter liked the taste of the tea. I found it over sweet. From my side is a parent , I didn’t like the smell in the cafe - it was chlorine or something similar, and I didn’t like the ceiling spots ( dirt) , guys, you have to clean it asap.“

“Macu is incredible. Blows all other bubble tea places out of the water. For the same price, Instead of cheap powdered drinks with run of the mill boba, you get incredible pure fresh fruit smoothies with the tastiest, unique, chewy bo bo, and green tea jellies. It gets addicting.“

“I ordered my favorite Passion Fruit Green Tea, but the staff accidentally gave me Grapefruit Tea instead. When I mentioned it, he kindly offered to replace it, but I decided to give the Grapefruit Tea a try — and I actually ended up liking it! Sometimes mistakes turn into new favorites.

“I really like this place and come here pretty often, but I was disappointed during my last visit. After getting my drink and sitting down, there was a horrible smell — the same issue I noticed the last time I was here. I mentioned it before, so it’s frustrating that it’s still happening. It seemed like someone was cleaning the pipes or sink while customers were around, which made it really unpleasant. I hope they can take care of that before opening or after closing next time. I love this spot, but this issue definitely needs attention.“

“I very much enjoy their mango pomelo sago coconut milk drink with 30% sweetness. The sago has the right texture and not soggy. Of course the more mango pieces the better. I wanted to try other options however I keep order this popular item. Worth the calories 😂“

Their teas are flavourful and fresh. What’s unique about them is that they offer lactose free milk for their milk teas as well as a range of toppings. Their pearls are always fresh and their oolong and jasmine tea jellies are delicious too - I can’t find them anywhere else! Their staff are always nice.“

The service has always been impeccable when the owner is there or with any of his crew when he is not there. They are all knowledgeable about the products they are serving and they recommend the best they have in sugar free optionsn for me. I have tried all the flavors that don't come with added sugar, such as jasmine, Royal #9 (blueberry infused), matcha, and Iron Goddess (oolong). The jasmine tea without the milk by itself also has excellent flavor. If they have time, they are also fun to talk to about local restaurant recommendations, life, and travel.
