It offers unpretentious and very welcoming service, creative plating, and some of the best food around. It's evident a lot of time and thinking go into the dishes. There is no generic sauce or ingredient that is used repeatedly through the tasting menu. Instead, each dish has its own distinct flavor profile and matching fresh ingredients. However they do not give you a refill on the kimchi which is the not so cool part of a Korean Restaurant. They charge 2.99 for extra side plate of kimchi. “We phoned yesterday, made a reservation for a birthday dinner today at 5:30 PM, confirmed verbally on the phone. We showed up at 5:30 PM and they turned us away, saying they had no reservation. We showed them the phone number that we phoned yesterday to make the reservation. The phone number was on our phone, confirming that a phone call had been made. We recounted to them the conversation, including the discussion about the fact that it was a birthday and reminded them of the discussion about having a dessert with candles. Nobody recalled the conversation and we had to leave because they were fully booked. they tried to assert that our reservation had been for the previous day and that she even recalled serving a woman yesterday with the same name, a birthday.“

“The private room downstairs is a great spot for group events. Not alot of hassle for the host, your guests pay a flat rate for food and space rental when you get there and then buy drinks as they wish. The team working downstairs know that they're doing, they keep track of everything so you don't have too. The food is amazing and never stopped coming, and if anyone has dietary restrictions they'll make sure they don't miss out on anything. From the time you walk in the door and go downstairs everything is simple for the host and the guests.“

Never had kangaroo meat before but I loved it. Wish I had more room in me to eat the whole thing. The jalapeños in the nachos were so fresh juicy and crunchy. Packed a lot of heat. “This is easily one of the best restaurants in North Vancouver. I’ve been multiple times now and while it is fairly small, it’s incredibly cozy and has an amazing atmosphere. The owners are incredibly nice and care for anyone that walks through the door. Service is absolutely fantastic and the food is also great. The sandwiches are valued really well for what you’re paying for and taste damn good. Not to mention they prioritize using local businesses for their products. This is one of the ONLY restaurants I have not had a disappointing experience and highly recommend to everyone.“

We dined here for supper on June 3, 2023, and absolutely loved the atmosphere as well as the food! Waterfront dining (they provide indoor/outdoor and roof top dining), with the water and mountain views was spectacular as we watched the sunset on the water. Our server Sean was very pleasant and courteous and made our time there very enjoyable. We started with Caesars and Soughdough Baguette, and then shared a Scallop & Prawns Linguine (we have smaller appetites). Both were absolutely Amazing dishes! The surprise birthday dessert was very much appreciated and delicious! We would say the cost is average for Vancouver restaurant dining. We also ordered their cheapest white wine (we were unable to order their sangria) which was actually quite good. Very filling meal and hit the spot. Toast came in option of multigrain or sourdough.
