“One of my favourite milk tea places in Vancouver. The quality of the tea is good, plus if you get the fruit drinks, they use real fruit. Boba quality is good too. This time I got brown sugar milk tea, lychee jade tea with aloe, and fruit tea. As always, this place never failed me. Dibs: buy 3 drinks, you get free playing cards.

“One of my favourite bubble tea places. It's a small mom and pop shop. They have a wide range of flavours and their prices are low compared to the rest in the market. The taste is also really good although they dont do specialty flavours“

“I came to try one of the new feature drinks, matcha latte with sweet corn foam. I was so curious to try this pairing and it worked very well. The sweet corn foam had the flavour that I would compare to caramel corn. The matcha itself was good. They use real matcha, whisked by hand, instead of powder mix, and it was strong enough with a nice smooth flavour. The pearls were also perfectly chewy! The barista was nice and checked to make sure I was okay with the dairy in the foam when I asked for oat milk in the latte. It was just one barista working around lunch time but they worked very efficiently considering the tea was being made from scratch because I think I only waited about 10 minutes with 5 or 6 people waiting for their drinks before me. The shop is cute but small.“

“I recently visited Chatime on West Broadway. The staff were incredibly friendly and patient while I took my time deciding from their selection of bubble teas.
The teas are rich in flavour and they also have fresh ingredients which is nice. What really stood out was how they catered to my preferences. I could adjust the sweetness and ice level, which made the drink feel totally customized to my taste. It’s those little touches that make Chatime such a delightful place to visit.

It was my first time having a drink with L-arabinose as a sugar replacement and as the person behind the counter advised it was indistinguishable from sugar! My drink was really good. “This has to be my favourite spot in all of Vancouver to get an Avocado Smoothie!!!! It is pretty hidden, but a hidden gem!!! The staff is beyond kind and I will ALWAYS go out of my way to go there when I want a high-quality Avocado Smoothie!!! Its under the 'Fresh Fruit' section. “Cute little shop with yummy bubble tea! The gentlemen working was super friendly and helpful, as this was my first time trying The Alley. I decided on the most popular order, which was the No. 9. The drink was really good! I will definitely be back to try other menu items.

The shop itself is small, but has plenty of indoor seating. It was clean and well maintained with straws and napkins. They also had a wide variety of menu items, including some fun collabs.“

“This is the best bubble tea place downtown. I had the milk tea 50% sweet and no ice, my partner had the milk tea with brown sugar 50% and no ice. My partner and myself both agreed the drinks were very tasty and plan to come back. I also liked how the menu wasnt filled with a million items, which could lead to analysis paralysis. Just the basics which they did very well.

“I recently visited Gong Cha bubble tea on W Pender St and had a wonderful experience. The store had a cozy and inviting atmosphere with cute decor. The staff was incredibly friendly and took the time to explain their menu and make recommendations. I ordered a classic bubble milk tea, and it was delicious! The tea was perfectly brewed, and the boba was cooked just right. The pricing was reasonable for the size and quality of the drink. “I usually go for their slush. Taro or matcha is usually good. Service times can be good or long. It depends on their online orders. We had to wait about 10-15 mins once because of the amount of online orders they had despite of us being the few people in person“

“This place reminds me of a bowl of Pho in Vietnam eg. “Pho Le” Simplistic and authentic. I’ve had everything from Cafe Dang Ang to Pho Duy, and this spot is my favourite alongside Linh Cafe which has a richer broth.

The side condiments are fresh and the beef they use for their Pho Tai is tender and adds a beefiness when cooked in the hot broth.

Their spring rolls are made using Rice Paper and are one of the best in the city. (I personally like the Hanoi style from Cafe Dang Anh)

Pho Tan is famous for their Satay Beef Pho #19 but their entire menu is delicious.

The service is also exceptional, very warm and attentive. They always check up on you.“

I got so excited seeing butter chicken poutine in the menu since its pretty hard to find them in a butter chicken place. So we ordered lemonade, butter chicken poutine and the lava cake.Lemonade was made very generously with real likes and lemons, the sweetness balanced well with the acidity also. It’s a really good pairing for a rich food like the butter chicken poutine.Butter chicken poutine was so good. The sauce was so rich with chunks of chicken and cheese melt. It pairs well on top of the crunchy starchy french fries. Its very my vibe of comfort food, spice and texture.Lava cake was also good, portion was generous for the price and the lava melt was satisfying. It’s a bit on the sweeter side but the chocolate mix made it not so overly sweet.“

“Super cute spot, great for studying on weekdays. Beware if you’re trying to study that at 5pm they switch into a wine bar and on weekends they usually won’t allow you to have computers unless it’s not busy. The employees were super kind and accommodating and there are nice big tables. The interior is very cozy and has a nice calming atmosphere. I ordered a chai latte which was decent, but not the best I’ve had. Overall, it was a great experience!“

“I came in for my free birthday drink from the app, and I was pleasantly surprised there were dairy free soy milk options for some drinks. I tried the Oolong Brown Sugar Milk Tea with soy milk. Even though it is listed as being only 25% sweet, the brown sugar syrup is very sweet and delicious. I tried to ask for sweeter without knowing so, but they let me know 25% sweet is the only sweetness level the brown sugar drinks come in. The flavour was very smooth and not overpowering at all, I would gladly order it again. The fresh tapioca was fantastic as well, the pearls are not as large as some other places, but they have great flavour, mouthfeel, and chewyness. I just wished I had a bigger cup so I could get more! I also ordered a bubble waffle while I was here. My only gripe was that they did not serve it to me hot, but instead cooled it down in front of a fan so that it was not quite warm when handed to me. I also thought they may have browned it for too long, but it might have just been the sugar content in the batter that turned it dark, because it tasted very good even if it was cool.“

“I have been here multiple times as it being opened till late helped me in past when i worked late night shifts to have food and drink that i don't need to cook. I have had multiple of drinks here with different combinations but i think today they just nailed it.

I got Hokkaido milk tea with mango popping boba and it's just bomb. Its so good and tasty and creamy and now all i wanna know is if they make it with rich milk or ice cream. Cause i have had this drink in the past from other places where they used ice cream but switched to rich milk cause of the price difference instead of increasing the price.

They recommended the crystal boba and explained it was made from seaweed extract so it’s healthier than pearls ?.
