What really sets L&G apart is their incredible drink selection. They offer a huge variety, and the best part is that most of their drinks are made with real fruits. “Had the Fresh Mango Coconut Milk ($8.24 with tax). It was good! You can adjust ice and sugar levels for most drinks, including this one! I didn't want to consume dairy, so you can substitute their coconut pudding for their coco water jelly, a nice hybrid between coconut jelly and grass jelly. It's impossible not to compare the drink to Macu Tea, which I do prefer for their addition of grapefruit & the tea jelly flavour in the King of Mango. However, Cocobay was a good option in the area!

The mango was sweet enough, and the coconut milk was rich. There was only one staff member around 7 pm on a Sunday so there was a short wait as they prepared other orders. Friendly service, however, and she was able to answer menu questions about dietary preferences!“

It was my first time having a drink with L-arabinose as a sugar replacement and as the person behind the counter advised it was indistinguishable from sugar! My drink was really good. My fiancé got the hot milk tea with boba and he thoroughly enjoyed his as well!“

“This has to be my favourite spot in all of Vancouver to get an Avocado Smoothie!!!! It is pretty hidden, but a hidden gem!!! The staff is beyond kind and I will ALWAYS go out of my way to go there when I want a high-quality Avocado Smoothie!!! Its under the 'Fresh Fruit' section. They have a huge menu, so if avocado is not your first smoothie choice, you should definitely stop by and try something else!! You will NOT be disappointed!!“

“Macu is incredible. Blows all other bubble tea places out of the water. For the same price, Instead of cheap powdered drinks with run of the mill boba, you get incredible pure fresh fruit smoothies with the tastiest, unique, chewy bo bo, and green tea jellies. It gets addicting.“

“This is the best bubble tea place downtown. I had the milk tea 50% sweet and no ice, my partner had the milk tea with brown sugar 50% and no ice. My partner and myself both agreed the drinks were very tasty and plan to come back. I also liked how the menu wasnt filled with a million items, which could lead to analysis paralysis. Just the basics which they did very well.

“I recently visited Gong Cha bubble tea on W Pender St and had a wonderful experience. The store had a cozy and inviting atmosphere with cute decor. The staff was incredibly friendly and took the time to explain their menu and make recommendations. I ordered a classic bubble milk tea, and it was delicious! The tea was perfectly brewed, and the boba was cooked just right. The pricing was reasonable for the size and quality of the drink. Their teas are flavourful and fresh. What’s unique about them is that they offer lactose free milk for their milk teas as well as a range of toppings. Their pearls are always fresh and their oolong and jasmine tea jellies are delicious too - I can’t find them anywhere else! Their staff are always nice.“

The service has always been impeccable when the owner is there or with any of his crew when he is not there. They are all knowledgeable about the products they are serving and they recommend the best they have in sugar free optionsn for me. I have tried all the flavors that don't come with added sugar, such as jasmine, Royal #9 (blueberry infused), matcha, and Iron Goddess (oolong). I like that there’s a tablet that you can order the drinks yourself. Just wished that there are more tables to sit at, as there are only 2 big tables (sits 4 people) and 2 smaller tables (sits 2 people). So if 4 groups of people are already gathered, you’d most likely not have a seat.“
