The coffee was rich, both sweet from the whip and caramel on top and dark with the lovely coffee underneath. Delicious cup 😋.

The cookie was phenomenal, top notch texture with a nice balance between crunchy and chewy. From the first bite you are hit with that strong sea salt taste that quickly mellows out into cookie bliss. Delightful. Very heavy and big so def good to share this one.

The locals recommended the spot and it was no disappointment. Bit of a cramped space with how busy it gets but during more calm hours it has a very cozy cottage feel.

“The hostesses at the front are vibrant and charming. They offer a complimentary glass of champagne to sip while you’re waiting. If you don’t imbibe, they will accommodate your soft drink request. We were seated at a table on the patio which is very close to the street. So if you choose to sit on the patio, There will be city sounds which, apart from the occasional siren, quickly dissolves into the artful landscaping. Raven, our server, was friendly and cheerful, in addition to being appropriately attentive. We started with the mini steak French dips. Expertly seasoned and grilled, new york steak strips over a button of gruyere cheese atop a tiny slice of sourdough garlic bread with a side of au jus. These were quite more-ish. I recommend them. My husband enjoyed the Mediterranean salad and I liked my seared ahi tuna salad very much. The tuna is sliced thicker than carpaccio but thinner than sushi and gently seared. The plating was elegant and the salad finely chopped with bits of mango and shaved avocado on the top.. I tasted a bit of mint leaf and the light dressing was truly perfect. The staff pay attention to the guests and, when your server is busy, they make themselves available for your needs. It appears the staff members enjoy each other’s company as well as their jobs. I observed real teamwork throughout. We had the apple pie for dessert. On its own it is delicious with a caramel apple filling and it’s flaky , buttery and crunchy crus. It can easily be shared by three people and would have been enough. But do’gild the lily’ by adding the Canadian maple ice cream. We felt comfortable and satisfied. We were pleased with every bite and the Joey Burrard experience from start to finish. We will definitely go back and try some other offerings. Go and have fun. And talk to the very friendly staff who are so willing to engage.“

We ordered Omakase C - Cofu and were delighted! The presentation is artful, but not fussily so. The flavours were layered and subtle so every ingredient could be tasted. Our favourite was the salmon sushi (we ordered an extra 8 pieces!), rich, decadent and delish, especially with the Cilantro Cucumber sauce. We tried the Restore and Elevate mushroom tinctures on the rocks; unexpected flavours, but they grew on us paired with the food and a little ice melt dilution. We will go back time and again to try everything on the menu. Highly recommended!“

“A cute little place with delicious looking pastries and fresh sandwiches. I got the alder smoked BLT and the sticky toffee pudding. The BLT was a really well balanced sandwich with freshly made bread. It was salty, but perfectly so.

The staff were kind and helpful too and the service was fast (especially with it being freshly made in front of you).“

I think it's fine if you're at one of the tables, but it can feel pretty cramped or like you're always in someone's way when you're in line or waiting for your order. “My parents (69 and 71) were hosting Christmas Dinner at their house. My father decided to order Christmas dinner from Fresh In Your Fridge so Christmas dinner could be stress-free for all while still enjoying a delicious family meal. We were all so impressed! The meal instructions were simple and easy to follow and the food was just incredible. Our meal started with a winter green salad that was a hit with everyone around the table, including my normally veggie-adverse husband and the kids! He and the children even had seconds. The main course - turkey roulade with stuffing, creamy mashed potatoes, mixed roasted veggies, and gravy - was all delicious! The portions were so generous - there were 10 of us and there were leftovers at the end of the meal. Finally, a pear crumble with caramel sauce for dessert… So tasty and the perfect ending to a perfect meal. Minimal clean up afterwards - dishes done within 10 minutes! My father declared this is how he would like to host all big family meals in the future! Thanks to the Fresh In You Fridge team for making this Christmas extra special for our family“
