- excellent pizza
- gorgeous views of the harbour and ocean beyond
- you can walk up to the trestle bridge after you inevitably eat way too much pizza (it's SO good) and work off some calories
- the vibes are vibing at all times

Cons:
- if you don't get one of the tables in the covered area, there's NO shade on the lawn. Recommend to bring an umbrella or shade tent on a hot day
- the bathroom situation is lacking. While better than an outhouse or porta-potty, there is often a line for the washrooms and they are often dirty and overflowing with garbage“

“Very fast service, immaculate food presentation, a very chillz relaxed atmosphere, close to bus stop, as I’m holiday here from Sydney. The best dish I would recommend is La Vong rolls.“

“I was recently did take out with a friend submitted a review suggesting that he received food poisoning from the food..I ate the same food from the same containers that he ate from and had leftovers the next day with another friend and were fine. The food was delicious ,portions were generous and when they forgot to put all the containers in the bag to take away i called them to mention this and they offered to add prawn and crab rolls to compensate for there mistake..i would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant..“

“Aug 31/25: It's been quite a while since I've been back, but as soon as I came through the doors, one of the owners remembered me! She was as sweet as I last remembered, and she let me know the other wonderful owner, the chef, accommodated my food request, which I really appreciate.

The food is also still as I remembered —delicious, fresh, and high in quality. I will be back sooner for sure! (We had dynamite combo and gomae.)

“One of my favourite milk tea places in Vancouver. The quality of the tea is good, plus if you get the fruit drinks, they use real fruit. Boba quality is good too. This time I got brown sugar milk tea, lychee jade tea with aloe, and fruit tea. As always, this place never failed me. Dibs: buy 3 drinks, you get free playing cards.

Calling all night owl boba and fruit tea lovers! There’s a spot for us in town that’s open til midnight to satisfy those cravings!

Coffee and teas are great. The food I have tried is great, too.

They have some great service staff, quick, polite, and warm.

I love the little touches around the small shop. Photos of dog visitors is a great reason to keep coming back. They have a human accessible jar of treats inside the door for you to grab for your pooch.

“We had our wedding reception here, let me start off by saying the manager/owner was so sweet, she and her husband were so quick to confirm that we could hold our wedding here. She offered to create a sign for outside the restaurant, always quickly responded to any questions or concerns. They also ordered just for our event extra tables and chairs. The employees/waiters/waitresses here are so sweet and attentive, and for their first experience doing a wedding, I was impressed with how well they adapted to the chaos of at capacity customers and crowds. The magic of the day can not happen without the people behind the scenes hustling to make it special. Waffleland cafe is so beautiful and a sweet gem in the heart of Gastown, we are so lucky to be the first wedding and I just know there will be more. Cute, whimsical, romantic decor made it so easy to add little bits to customize it to our celestial/forest. “We live in North Shore and are regulars at Wooden Fish and this is our first time at Pho and Roll. Very impressed with their food and atmosphere. More upscale than Wooden Fish but both are excellent. We were worried about parking but had no issues finding a spot right away on a side street (lots of parking on the side streets and parking lots as well). We will return.“

Both were super sweet and patient when I was choosing between the flavours, and they helped me pick the best one! I loved how they made sure I had a memorable time.
