“Really amazing authentic Korean restaurant that's tucked away in a a corner. They have amazing traditional dishes and fusion food and their portion sizes are very generous. I recommend trying the traditional dishes like gamjatang and the tofu entree“

“Mango shrimp: 5 ⭐ shrimp is crispy and tender. Mangos add sweetness to it which goes well with the shrimp and mayo based sauce. Presentation is nice. Not a fan of the matcha based sauce but its probably just for presentation anyway.

Seafood noodles: 5 ⭐ same as the basic black bean noodles flavour wise but with the added seafood served on a hot plate

Deep fried pork: 4 ⭐ it's okay flavor wise. The pork is not as crispy as I expected. Will probably not order this next time“

Agoongyi never disappoints—authentic Korean comfort food with solid portions and great flavors. I’ve tried a few dishes now and the bibimbap definitely hits the spot (props to whoever prepared it, it had that extra care ✨). The staff are kind, attentive, and create a warm, lowkey atmosphere that makes the whole experience feel personal. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this one deserves the spotlight.

“A great place to gather friends and family. We were greeted with smiles and served with positive attitude. The hospitality was amazing and all questions were answered accordingly.
We had the Grill A (for two)
Which included: prime marinated beef, short rib, triple a beef, brisket, and pork belly. The complementary side dishes ( Kimchi, veggies and tuna, were a perfect amount. ( I personally loved the tuna with corn)

We loved cooking on the BBQ which would’ve been the major highlight of the evening. There was good ventilation for the BBQ - so no smoke.
We will definitely be coming back.“

“Just had lunch today and while the food was pretty good, I can’t say much for our server. It would appear that she has decided that everyone she waits on must pay her a tip. We had left the restaurant and walking to our car when she followed us outside and questioned about her service. What she was inquiring about was her tip that she felt she was entitled to! After informing her the tip was on the table she immediately turned around and left without offering a thank you. What the hell?“

“We recently dined here , our first time and it was an absolute 5-star experience! The chicken katsu was perfectly crispy on the outside, tender and juicy inside, with a golden panko coating that was pure perfection. We ordered the hira pork katsu, kimchi katsu that came sizzling to the table and the cheese katsu. The accompanying tonkatsu sauce had just the right balance of tangy and sweet, elevating every bite. The atmosphere was cozy yet modern, Jenny was attentive who made us feel so welcome. The side dishes, especially the miso soup, pickled veggies, and salad were all fresh and flavorful, rounding out the meal beautifully. Portions were generous, and the presentation was impeccable. Our son would rate it more than 5 stars if it could go any higher. We highly recommend this place for date night then take a stroll through downtown Langley“

“A welcoming hello upon entering and exceptional service, ensuring you are seated and served quickly. The food was delicious. I let my daughter and her partner order some sharing dishes. (Large size portions) The only thing that was missed was the kimchi which apparently used to be served instead of the pickled radishes. This was my daughters wish as she loves kimchi.“
