Starbucks in Carlsbad

“This is the second time my fiancé & I have been to this location. We have lived in SD our entire lives and neither of us have been to a Starbucks location as excellent as this one.

Everyone is super down to Earth and very kind. Both times we ‘dined in’ and got beautiful drinks in mugs. Leaving the state soon but I plan to come to this location every time I’m in town again.

“Paula who is the head barista/supervisor at this location made my day extra special!! The last time I came in I got my usual grande caramel macchiato however when I tasted it and opened the lid I noticed there wasn’t any caramel, no biggie but it did change the drink a lot. When I went in today Paula took my order and I mentioned the caramel and if they can please add it on top 😊 she went above and beyond to ensure my drink was perfect plus some & I hope she sees this to know it was extremely kind and appreciated! Spreading kindness is more of what this world needs and she’s doing an amazing job!! Thank you so much Paula + Team!! 🙌“

“I love Starbucks and with covid-19 almost kind of gone kind of I'm weaning off the food stamps however you can't use your EBT card at any Starbucks but you can at this one because they're connected to the Vons grocery store so when I go in I don't do it all the time but when I go in and do my shopping I'll get myself a tall Pikes coffee so I can do my shopping and then I'm on my way and all you have to do is just swipe your EBT“

“I’m a regular at this Starbucks for several reasons. First and foremost the baristas are friendly and professional. They make my day!
Second my drink is always right and if I need something they always accommodate, and with a smile! They never make you feel like you’re asking too much.
Third the atmosphere at this Starbucks is always welcoming and comfortable. Paula the Manager, and her crew, make an effort to get to know their customers and that creates a “family” feeling.
Fourth, the Starbucks Store, especially the restrooms, is always clean and tidy. No one wants to sit down to a sticky table or chair. You won’t get that here. And if they get slammed, they still make time to make sure the cafe is clean.

Parking: There’s front parking but also a large behind the store parking lot. There is parking across from the Starbucks as well. Plenty if parking!

Kid-friendliness: Many families come to this Starbucks and the outside patio area is spacious enough to accommodate large groups and families with dogs.

Wheelchair accessibility: There’s a ramp behind this Starbucks in the parking lot with lots of parking spaces.“
