“I love sweetgreen! I always eat crispy rice bowl, I’m obsessed. Regularly every Monday actually. I have to tell I don’t like the fact that some workers are more generous and some of them not. I feel full sometimes and I’m like not full at all sometimes. For 17$ of chicken bowl that should be fair amount of chicken. Some of them just put less protein then other and hopefully they can be more careful about that!“

“My brother, husband, and I have been coming here for years. This is our local spot for sushi, and we will be lifelong customers for sure! We love their happy hour specials (from 3:30-5:30). When we can't decide what to eat, we get the lunch bento box combo and it hits the spot every time! I think I've tried every non-spicy roll on their menu. If you're down to get something that tastes as fantastic as it looks, go for the Cucumber Special Roll. It won't disappoint!“

Burgeon Brewery has set the bar high for craft beer in Carlsbad. We stopped by on a recommendation and were blown away by their IPA selection. The DDH Juice Press was so good we brought cans home! Other standouts in our flight included Turtle Power, Treevana, and Cloud Chaser—all bursting with flavor.

The brewery’s relaxed atmosphere paired with BBQ from the Thumbs Up Food Truck made our visit memorable. The brisket with spicy sauce was smoky perfection and matched the beers beautifully. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this place is a true gem.“

“Vanessa was really friendly at the counter and bringing it the food AND cleaning dishes up. So nice!! Also the good was A1, to notch, amazing! En Fuego Burger delivered on good spice/great, great fresh ingredients, and perfectly cooked! (I ordered medium rare) Then those sweet potatoes fries... There is no way to make them better than how they do it here!!! I need to come up here to MTB more often so I can come here after! Oh, and everyone else loved their meals too.“

“This was a fun brewery to visit in Carlsbad. I came here with a group of adults, and everyone seemed to enjoy the food and beer. The grilled cheese and tomato soup is so delicious and worth a try. Others in the group ordered pizza and said it was quite tasty as well. Our server Michelle was awesome and had a fun personality. All in all, it’s a great place to check out. Also, the place is very dog friendly which I thought was cool.“

The staff was great and sitting outside in Newport Beach is not a bad deal.

“In town Camping at South Carlsbad State Beach and drove to check this place out. I had read they have really good fi as h tacos at s great price ( 11/7/24 $1.30). They definitely are good & filling ! I left happy & full. My wife got a Carne Asada Burrito that she really liked. Nice friendly prompt service and a Salsa Bar too ! 👍 it’s a smallish walk up and order type restaurant in a strip mall but that doesn’t distract from the good food at all with indoor & outdoor seating. We were there on a Thursday evening and the place was busy with lots of take out orders from the locals. We’ll definitely be back when in town“

“Awesome bar! Came on on a random Saturday night and it was mellow but the bartender made me feel like a million bucks! Thank you for excellent service, Guy! I Enjoyed the delicious Shepard's Pie with fries and a couple cold ones. Live band was pretty good, thank you to the band members esp. the bass player. Go Dead Cowboys!

I was concerned that the salmon would be smoked (I’m not a fan of the smoked variety), so I made a note about it. They prepared my order perfectly and included a note, “Not smoked… enjoy!” They even included the extra ginger I requested. Easy pick up and the sushi roll was excellent and very tasty! When I went inside to pick up my order, it was packed and the energy in the room was very happy and warm. Highly recommend this place!“

The freshness in flavors, everything perfectly cooked, char grilled proteins and veggie skewers 🫠🫠🫠 I used to eat here every day when the original place was in San Marcos but I do not mind driving down a little more for my fix. Ordered Lettuce Wraps. Would have given 5 of 5 stars, but the LETTUCE in my LETTUCE WRAPS was ICEBERG LETTUCE.
Am I being a snob? I don't think so. The chicken mixture was delicious! Better than P.F. Changs (which iI give a 5/10 because i couldn't tell what i was eating and almost broke a tooth on something extremely hard which was sprinkled throughout). But you should, at the very least, spend an extra dime and use a small, sturdier leaf, even romaine.

Husband got the surf and turf which came with a generous portion of filet a lobster four or five shrimp and veggies. I got the appetizer shrimp barsac, which I didn't like and sent it back because it was not peeled properly so I just ate off my husband's plate and it was really good“
