“Ther interior is beautifully designed. Great spot for date night. I had the filet mignon with salad and soup. Perfect portion and tasted great. Only complaint is the size of the restrooms inside the restaurant. For as many people that can be hosted at this location, there was a wait for the restroom. Outside of that, beautifully designed, staff is amazing and food is excellent. Highly recommend recommended.“

“Very good Indian food. The staff that waited on us are from India. They offer suggestions on what are the dishes that we would like by asking a few questions. Some of the food can be spicy. For those of you that don't like spicy food make sure to advise your server. They have always asked about the spice level. We found for less spicy food order a spice level of 4 or below. Anything higher can get quite hot. It's a different kind of spice compared to Mexican food.“

I usually get tired of the trendy restaurants everywhere with sub par food, but they were really good and we will definitely come back. Burgeon Brewery has set the bar high for craft beer in Carlsbad. We stopped by on a recommendation and were blown away by their IPA selection. The DDH Juice Press was so good we brought cans home! Other standouts in our flight included Turtle Power, Treevana, and Cloud Chaser—all bursting with flavor.

The brewery’s relaxed atmosphere paired with BBQ from the Thumbs Up Food Truck made our visit memorable. The brisket with spicy sauce was smoky perfection and matched the beers beautifully. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this place is a true gem.“

“Dropped in on Christmas for dinner without a reservation and the place was packed! But they had a little table for us immediately. My wife loved the grilled salmon salad and the prime rib was the best I’ve had in a long time! We split a clam chowder bread bowl (so good!). Staff was friendly and we had a great time!“

We came back for lunch to celebrate my birthday. I was really surprised that our bartenderess Gabby remembered my name 😊 I mentioned that it was my birthday and at the end of our meal she brought out a birthday cake slice. Great great and awesome service

I was clearly upset and was just trying to stay close and keep my mind busy. I met Brance who was so compassionate and kind. He made me feel safe and welcomed while I waited in tears. I have been living in the village for a while and this was the most exceptional service I have experienced. As a fellow hospitality business owner, the way he treated me will be something I will continue to share as an amazing no expectation, true guest hospitality experience. “Act of kindness and respect. My husband is a Vietnam vet. We ordered our food at the counter. We didn’t notice the placard at the counter saying “ we give discounts to vets”. Our number was called and we went to the counter, paid and brought the delicious Japanese food to our table. I asked Buddy, did you get your discount? He was unaware. We inquired about it mid meal. They offered to re-ring our tab. We said don’t bother, we’ll get you next time. The owner or manager not sure who he was didn’t let it go. He noticed we were drinking water with our meal.
