“The food is BUT… it is rather expensive and the side dishes cost extra. And while I know EVERYTHING is expensive these days, I find it rather offensive that they charge $5 each for teeny tiny containers of coleslaw and beans. Each one is barely enough for one person to enjoy. To get enough of either, you need to spend another $10 on top of the meat. It’s good, but it bothers me every time I order them.“

“I stopped by Chad’s in Santa Barbara, California, for breakfast. The line was pretty long when I arrived, but surprisingly, I was seated within about 10 minutes.

I ordered the steak and eggs, which came with tater tots and pancakes. The steak was flavorful, and the eggs were cooked exactly the way I asked. But I have to give a special shout out to the tater tots, they were amazing! They honestly reminded me of my childhood.

I also tried the corned beef hash, which came with potatoes, eggs, and pancakes. The corned beef was pretty good and, most importantly, wasn’t overly salty. The portion sizes for both meals were decent, and there was plenty of food.

The customer service was great, and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. On top of that, you get a nice ocean view while you eat, which makes the experience even better.

Overall, I really enjoyed Chad’s. Good food, great customer service, decent portions, a clean restaurant, and a beautiful ocean view. I would absolutely return!“

“Our family of five really enjoyed our food and the great service. We all have a gluten allergy and find it hard to eat out. Thai is usually safe for us, so we eat a *lot* of Thai. Meun Fan was one of our favorite every-day places to eat. Our server was very knowledge and careful to make sure our food was safe - which it was. No one had a reaction. Plus, the food was excellent. Complex, flavorful sauces; lots of veggies and meat; everything tasted very fresh; generous portions. (My husband couldn't quite finish his meal, and my teenage sons left full, which is quite a feat.) Definitely one of our go-tos in the area.“

“Great little place. Very clean. Service was friendly and fast. We ordered a burrito with a diablo sauce. We added steak and it came with a spoonful of sourcream on the side. The sauce was definitely homemade. We'd never had Diablo sauce.. not really a fan, but we ate it all up cause we were hungry. Maybe try a different one next time“

“This is a wonderful spot for fresh and delicious fare. Not a big place, so best for take out or delivery. Cash, credit/debit card payments.

Known for take & bake pizzas (which are, indeed, quite good) this was my go to for sandwiches. Fresh baked bread and plenty of fresh ingredients and quality meats. Design your own or request one of their signature options. Salads as well, if you're in to that sort of thing.

“Got a asada combo burrito to go & it’s definitely the best in town and most authentic. The meat is perfectly seasoned, the beans taste 100% authentically made. Guacamole is perfectly melted into the burrito and all contents are evenly matched nothing overpowers. If you go to Super Cucas their meat is overly seasoned, too salty and you get a handful of onions. Los agaves burrito taste plain and taste like it needs sauce. Los arroyos burrito won’t make you remember and get you bloated. All other burritos in town definitely taste super processed, salty or plain, or not seasoned right but this burrito will give you flashbacks of your mom smashing the beans in the kitchen and cutting nice chunks of meat. I spent $16 all other places charge $4 more“

“Wow what a hidden gem! Really tasty, flavorful offerings and so affordable. I was impressed with the variety and quality. I got a half sushi tofu sandwich and a half turkey cranberry sandwich and was full for $8. Both dishes were really thoughtful and looked nice, too. “Great quality meat in their burger. Not that, cheap meat, thin smash burger, that seems to be trending everywhere. The biggest sleeper is their salmon salad. It's awesome with great quality fish, dressing, and veggies, which makes sense being that the proprietor used to be the executive Chef at Wine Cast and Bouchon. All ingredients are quality which really matters to me. It's also right by the back bar in the Public Market so you can sit at the bar and have a cocktail or glass of wine while you eat as well. Double char is always reliable, and sometimes I get the triple char when I am extra hungry after a long day. Seating isn't always available, but people cycle out pretty quickly.“
