I went there before and was always slightly disappointed with the coffee. It just felt like warm water with flavors. I'm a black coffee person, so added flavors always seems like a over kill.
I went there today...not knowing it had changed owners and that first sip almost made turn my car around. It was GREAT. I could still taste the coffee, but the flavors just made it better.
Your service was quick and efficient. The young man was personable amd kind. A perfect start to my day. Keep that sign down... I can't wait to come back and see what YOU create. You got a local as a customer now.

“So happy we re-found these guys! They were AJ’s kitchen on the 41 and we went quite often there. They left that location and came here. It’s a quaint place with small section of seating indoors and a nice patio area outside. Enrique even remembers our names and it’s been at least a yr since we’ve seen him. We have always loved their food. And this time did not disappoint. The salsa was smoked just right. Chips are fresh. The pastrami sandwich was great. And the macaroni salad is the bomb! Seasoned just right. With this location they have beer but only one for the time being. We will definitely be back more now that we know where they are. If you haven’t been here, you are 100% missing out. Go check it out for yourself.“

“This is such a cute coffee shop with lots of natural light. We came to town for a track meet and found this online. The employees are very welcoming and friendly. The gentleman taking our order suggested the salted caramel ice cream for my affogato and it was absolutely delicious. My son got the caramel macchiato and loved that also. The chocolate croissant was tasty. They toast the bagels perfectly and I was pleasantly surprised that they cut it in quarters after adding the cream cheese. It was so much easier and less messy to eat that way. I wish we had a place like this in Santa Maria. I will definitely be craving this coffee until next time I drive through for one. I wish I would have taken pictures but they almost disappeared instantly lol.“

“6 months ago I went to this place and payed a dollar for an air cup. By air cup I mean the employee gave me an empty water cup when I asked for water. And charged me for it. After this I had a very enlightening experience recently when a wonderful employee proceeded to give me a bunch of chocolate beans. Therefore I take back my 1 star review and give you a 4.“

“My first experience with their Costa Rican Beans: I woke up this morning in Atascadero to a black lab licking my face a child generated chaos, just like any other day. I hear the coffee grinder grinding away in the kitchen and then the un deniable sound of the high speed fruitless spin that comes with running out of beans. I jumped into my pants, hastily walked to the truck to retrieve a little black bag and filled the hopper. I made no adjustments to the machine, pushed in on the portafilter, ground coffee began to gracefully descend from above. I tamped the grounds with a slight rotation of the tamper, engaged the porta filter into the machine and depressed the two shot button. A velvety waterfall descended from the porta filter streaming into my weathered mason jar, a cloud of creama floated above my espresso and then I proceeded to add a deluge of microfoamed whole milk. I then grabbed my cup and floated through the chaos to my recliner, sat down, pulled. The lever, took a sip of this heavenly nectar, closed my eyes and found myself gently swaying in a hammock somewhere in a rainforest in Central America. I could hear the birds and the monkeys playing at symphony just for me I could smell the sweet humidity that follows an equatorial rain, and for just a moment I had peace.“

“Good, fun, and tasty. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beverage and donut selection was great. The only negative is out of their control: the location is next to a car wash and is difficult to approach. They also only appear to have two regular and one handicapped parking space.“

“They are so fast and keep customers living, which I greatly appreciate. I can get in line behind 4-5 other cars in the drive through, order and have my coffee in hand in about 5 minutes…usually even less. The quality does not suffer because of the speed with which they help people. It’s so nice to know I ca stop for coffee in the morning, even if I forget to order ahead, and it won’t mess me up getting to work on time.“

I/we have eaten inside of locations for breakfast on numerous occasions and this was the first time I was asked for here or to go? I said well here of course. My breakfast came out on a plate! It was even hand delivered by the very friendly/smiling Cathy! My coffee also came out in a great big mug that was also a pleasant surprise! This next level of customer service was unexpected but at the same time I was touched by how special the employees here made it feel like another level of relaxation and exemplary customer service!
