We got here around 5:15 and there was a nice happy hour with an extensive menu. We got a few food items and they were all very tasty, the drinks were strong and the service was fantastic and fun. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it“

“We shared a number of dishes including calamares, hamburguesas (cumin lamb sliders), costillas (sherry marinated confit ribs) and paella mixta which were our favorites. Our server suggested a terrific wine to pair with our food and the flourless chocolate cake was delicious. Love this restaurant!“

This is my favorite bar right now at the moment.
Feel like drinking inside an immersive modern art exhibition.

Each drink we ordered was delicious and has interesting names, did you ever hear about a cocktail named beef soup, and it's super yummy.

We waited really long to fight for the sofa area, love the sofa, it's imported from Spain, beautiful chic and comfortable that I don't even want to leave until their last call.

I love every detail about this bar.
It's perfect in every way.

At the end of the night it was still sparkling clean, and it has a bidet (!), free sanitary products (!!), and a hilarious & adorable toilet paper dispenser that made me laugh out loud. “I love everything about Branch Line. The food, the drinks, the service. I went yesterday for happy hour and they were playing old school hip hop. The crowd was mixed with young and old. I was one happy camper. Wish parking wasn’t such a pain - I’d definitely come more often!“

“Killer aesthetic + exceptional service + diverse/delicious/affordable food = one of the best dining experiences I've had in the bay area. We had a lychee soju cocktail that was out of this world. Our favorite dishes were the chicken skin, okonomiyaki, and soba noodles (just had the classic prep w/ chicken). We called and were able to make a day-in-advance reservation for a Friday night dinner at 7:30 with no issue. Don't forget to check out the free cotton candy machine outside after!“

“Incredibly delicious, affordable, and filling rice triangles. I love stopping by to order here whenever I’m in the area. The food is delicious and a perfect meal. Personally, 2 rice triangles fills me up just right, I get the teriyaki chicken ones personally.“

“Such a cool spot serving unique, interesting and delicious wines. The food menu is light but appetizing and will satisfy any palette. If I were to build my perfect wine bar to hang out at, it would looked like this. It also helps that the staff makes a point to remember their regulars and make them feel welcome. Don't sleep on their wine club, I can promise you won't find wines like this elsewhere.

Every time the chef brings out a plate of food, I look over telling myself I’m ordering that next time. As far as the drinks…. Literally anything and everything can be crafted. Leaving you well hydrated and feeling better than ever. Though Jesse (bartender) is originally from Pennsylvania , he’s adopted the love for bay area sports and makes sure games are always played on the TV’s. Nice comfy lounge seating to make u feel right at home. Such a great place to take someone on a date, catch up with old friends, or meet new friends.“

“Great food and drinks- fresh and delicious. The salad was amazing with vinaigrette, avocado , mandarin sections and cucumber. The lamb meatballs were scrumptious and served with a hearty homemade tomato sauce. The fries tasted like potato; yay! Again so fresh, not fussy but well made apps and entrees. Thank you kitchen! Some of us had items off the happy hour menu, some of us chose from the regular menu. All of it was so yummy. It was pretty busy for a Wed evening, but we always felt the staff were attentive and kind. Cocktails also super yum, an excellent balance of flavors. I recommend meeting friends there and having a great evening.“

“Abstract Table is one of my favorite tucked away Berkeley restaurants. The lush garden patio is spacious and perfect for warm or cool nights (there are heaters to keep it cozy), and the frequently rotating menu is always remarkable. The menu features the most creative dishes, with always fresh and seasonal ingredients, a rare find in Berkeley. Highlights: The mouthwatering seafood selection and soups (the savory 'cappucinos' are a must order!). This is one of the only places where I always save room dessert. Quality price point, perfect for groups or a romantic dinner!“

This is a eat and go sort of place, not great to chat or mingle. Parking is super easy even on the weekends. The staff speaks Cantonese, mandarin and English as well. Portions are generous as well.“
