“I’ve eaten probably over one thousand bagels in my life. By most accounts I’m an expert in the field of bagels. Trust me when I tell you that this is a good bagel— nay, an excellent bagel.

How could I describe the balance of chewiness to sweetness to softness. Not too dense, nor too light. The ratio of cream cheese to lox to toppings approaches divinity.

“This place is truly such a gem. Such cozy foods that will nourish you from the inside out. Feels home cooked with love. My only wish for them is to use olive oil and avocado oils only! Seed oils like canola oil and sunflower oil are highly inflammatory and hard on the digestive system. Once in awhile I don’t mind, but I would definitely eat here more often if they used good oils exclusively as I know my body could tolerate it much better! All in all, grateful for an organic vegan spot to have locally!“

“This is the best Thai restaurant I’ve been to in the East Bay. So I and my friends keep coming back. The dishes are really well done, and the portions are quite good too. While, it can get a little noisy when it’s full, most of the time it’s OK. I particularly love the corn cheese fritters, the jumbo garlic, shrimp, the exquisite, coconut soup, and the ginger dish. I believe it is authentic cuisine, and all the staff are fluent in Mandarin. 90% of the food is spicy, however depending on the dish you can ask the waiter to remove the spiciness. If you have spice intolerance, I don't recommend going here, but if you do, I hope you have a great time!“

“The location or area is a little rundown, but the food and service was excellent. I think this are the best donuts I had in a long time. One thing I like about this donuts is that the bread is denser than other donuts I had before. Almost the same density as muffins. They also have a variety of flavors. I am a mail carrier in San Rafael, and one of my business customer gives out donuts every Friday. I finally asked him where he got them from and he told me it was from this location. so on the weekend, we made a 25 minute trip to this place, got donuts and then went to the beach. Perfect day for a picnic.“

“Absolutely best sushi. The chef is extremely passionate and talented, and it shows in the food and the service that is a lost art in current times. The prices are extremely fair for this quality of sushi. I think it's honestly worth more, but the lower prices make it more accessible. They have excellent vegetarian and vegan options. Highly recommend spicy crunchy tuna roll, futomaki roll, shitaki maki vegetable tempura, and my partner recommends the white dragon roll.
I have a crab allergy and have never had any issues here.

“I love going to Duo Grill for brunch. They have really good food, the service is great, you get your food right away and it's never crowded. Honestly, it is such an underrated place.

The crust on their pizza really sets them apart. It is a corn meal crust and gives a great crunch.

My manager's special deal has always been a fan favorite, and there are lots of food items to choose from.
