We (ambitiously) ordered 4 entrees and a dessert for 3 people (spoiler alert: we didn't finish), but it was nice to try a variety of dishes. We ordered the Chef's Special Dry Chili Chicken, Pan Fried Egg with Tomato Soup, Fish in Sour Pickled Broth, Peapod Leaves, and the Golden Sesame Balls. Everything was great - freshly cooked, made with quality ingredients, and very flavorful without being overly salty or greasy. My favorite was probably the Chef's Special Dry Chili Chicken. Service was friendly and efficient. They don't have many waitstaff, but you save a lot of time by ordering and paying independently using a QR code system. Ambiance is simple but clean. Our total came out to be around only $32 before tip with 2 bowls of trio shrimp noodle, extra egg topping, braised tofu appetizer and a hot tea. Take out is still regular price though. The bowl size is a very good portion, actually a bit big for me. I could only finished half of it. I had the tossed noodle and hubby got the broth one. Although the tossed noodle has good flavor, I have to say I prefer the broth one better. I can taste the flavors of the shrimp peels being roasted before shimmered into the broth, so much depth and richness. Now I know which one to get next time. There is no flow. It would have been nice if there was something that said to " Start Here!". You basically get a bowl and tongs from in front of the counter and just get whatever items you want to add to your bowl. They then weigh the bowl and you tell them what kind of broth you'd like. The end product is delicious. You can take it home if you can't finish it, they provide you with containers. The patrons are 99% Chinese so you know it's good and legit. However, don't believe all the markings on the food because some are mismatched. The dining area could be much cleaner and inviting.“

It can get crowded and the food's always fresh so at peak hours you need to be patient when dining in. I order take out a lot (especially during Covid) and never had an issue. We've tried probably half of their chicken and beef dishes in the Chinese menu and they all hit. On the Thai side, satay skewers and the curries are yummy. I also own two businesses in food service and can often look at an item and know whether it was purchased from US Foods, Sysco, or Restaurant Depot. There are plenty of restaurants that serve frozen entrees, and the chef opens packaging and reads the prep label before plating it. Not here. Not at PF Chang’s. Their chef has real talent and the “back” (kitchen staff) do an extraordinary job…we have never been served a bad meal (and I’m a particular eater). They are consistently good, which isn’t as simple as it may seem.But today I am taking time to write a review because the service was so spectacular. It’s my youngest daughter’s 28th birthday and Michelle (our server) literally made it perfect. She was fast, accurate, predictive, professional and was neither hovering or out-of-sight. But in addition to providing superbly attentive service, it was her manner that made the difference. Truth be told…it had been a brutal day and we almost cancelled dinner because nobody was feeling “up for it.” We all suggested rescheduling (not one of us wanted to go) but it seemed kinda obligatory and so we dragged ourselves here. Thank God we did. Michelle’s bubbly personality lifted us all up out of our funk and before long we were all giggling and thoroughly enjoying ourselves…even Michelle seemed to be having fun. As for the food they give very large portions even if in a smaller food serving container. The friend rice run of the mill, the lo mein noodles were soft as well as satisfying (much more than the P. EXPRESS), the veggies well sauteed, and as for the bbq pork...well some was overcooked and dry and some were more tender. So a little mixed feeling on the main course but overall a solid spot to fix the need and always try to be supportive of the neighborhood vendors.“

Our server Lily was very friendly and helped us decide what to get, we had the half roast duck with pancake wraps, Dan Dan noodles, oxtail soup (not pictured) and mochi pieces for dessert. The duck was delicious and the Dan Dan noodles were perfect (I requested them mild). This place has a lot of options, it was hard to choose but we really enjoyed everything. “The boba texture is always on point- chewy but soft. Cha for tea's almond milk tea is top tier. They work really fast and have a lot of employees making drinks. It's located in the University Town Center so there's usually a line around dinner time and after. The boba is reasonably priced and they also have snacks as well! The popcorn chicken is good. Although, the portion is small. You can also adjust sweetness, which I'd highly recommended. I typically get 2 pumps of sweetener instead of 5 for the large cup.“

I was impressed but my expectations were pretty low going in. There is way more variety than I expected. Pizza, french fries, fish, sushi, ribs, chinese, korean, dessert, ice cream, and more were an absolute delight to the senses. The garlic bread was a sleeper hit - buttered on both sides by the way. Everything was actually pretty decent. Two highlights were the shrimp (2 kinds) and crab. A welcome surprise for this price point. Another hit were the fried chicken wings. 5 spice seasoning and juicy on the inside - blissful. The large evening crowd meant high turnover for the food, so new trays were coming out constantly. A cool aspect was how diverse the patrons were. I love to see folks from different cultures and walks of life dining together. This is a place I would normally pass on, but for many community members it's an important local spot. I was admittedly afraid of...stomach complications. Thankfully, we were fine!
