“What an absolute gem this shop is. We had our wedding cake made by Pastries by Nancy & oh boy it did not disappoint. When we had to go try cakes from different vendors, all we could talk about was the cakes from this shop. The owner was also very helpful & knowledgeable about the cakes & what could & wouldn’t work. I remember being most excited to have cake at the wedding more than the other parts of the wedding! We love their cake so much we are going to come back for a slice every year on our anniversary.“

“This was my first experience here. I’ve heard a lot of good things about their cakes, and I can say it really lived up to the hype! I got Churro de chocolate and churro dulce de leche. I LOVED the chocolate one! It was amazing, and it paired really well with a cup of cold milk. Dulce de leche was so so SO sweet, that’s a reason I was about to give 4 stars. I expected a better blend of tastes for this one, maybe less sugar and sweetness from the cake since dulce de leche is sweet enough. In general, it was great and they really know how to make great cakes.“

This was my first order from Van, and I was pretty sure it would be tasty and satisfy my expectations because they wrote: "Under New Management!" So, I expected they would do their best to boost their sales, and I was right. The chocolate cake with strawberry ? and raspberry was delicious ?. The whole family loved it!“

“We ordered the pecan pie for Thanksgiving. It was the best part of our meal!! I've gone through a lot of pecan pies in my life. Always disappointed that the crust doesn't have the right amount of salt to balance the sweetness or that sweet gooey stuff around the pecans is artificial tasting or the pecans don't taste right. This pie is perfect from start to finish. It's made with real butter which I can taste. The pecans seem to be just slightly roasted and there's lots of them. I'm so happy with this place. I'm ready to try their other products. We ordered online and everything worked out perfectly. There's a bit of a line out the door but you have to understand why. It's just really really good. I cannot eat a pecan pie from anywhere else at this point. Thank you, Susiecakes!!“

“100% recomendados porque la verdad el pan está súper fresco y recién hecho. Aquí el sabor inigualable. Desde el menudito los fines de semanas hasta las conchas son para chuparse los dedos. Me encanta el birote (Bolio) crujiente!! Desde los años 90 tienen mis papás de comprar aquí y yo y mis hermanos seguimos la tradición. “This is a mocha filled cake. I brought these fresh flowers 1 day before the event. Although, my daughter’s instructions was to include red melted chocolate on this rustic/vintage themed cake but they did NOT. I can see why, it would have taken away from the theme. they have such a great eye in designing and captivating one’s imagination . They delivered the cake on time and the extra flowers were also returned. Definitely, recommend to friends and families!“

“I always make it a point to go to dots when I'm in town from Seattle, I was bummed to find out that their fair Oaks location closed but delighted to see this one here on Colorado. It's bigger with more food options, café style. The cupcakes of course are still delicious, lots of great options. Beautiful cafe, friendly service.“

“I can’t say enough great things! I went out on a limb and called Valentine Sweets. I live in New York, however my brother lives in Pasadena! I was doing a gender reveal for my friends and family in New York and wanted my brother to be included. I called early in the morning and spoke to the decorator Tatiana. I explained I needed one single custom gender reveal cupcake and she had no issues with the request or making it happen! A simple cute vanilla cupcake. Decorated with blue and pink sprinkles. And surprise pink frosting in the middle! She had the cupcake done within a couple hours for my brother to pick up! She had great communication and texted me when it was ready. Besides the fact that it was adorable,
My brother said it was delicious! I am upset I don’t live local myself to try it! Amazing service and communication. I can’t recommend enough for special occasions!“

“Delicious and nicely-decorated Bundt cakes. They have a great assortment of flavors and many size choices. Their cakes are always moist and their cream cheese frosting is great. Their employees are always friendly and efficient. All their flavors are very good but I recommend the white chocolate raspberry and the confetti cakes.“

“The ice cream always tastes well and the location is very clean easy to walk . The only problem are all the young employees. The customer service is very poorly they rarely show manners and when it comes to asking for samples they always seemed bothered. Customers should be able to taste different flavors to know what they need or to try something new.“

“Great ice cream! Cold stone never fails on providing great service, however staff here is very very low. Probably just one or two people are serving, so expect longer wait times than usual if there’s a lot of people. Other than that, staff is friendly and do their best to be efficient and quick. I notified that they support local business, if you buy a pizza nearby (business on flyer) you’ll get a discount there at cold stone upon showing receipt.“

“Pretty reasonably priced cupcakes, however they initially gave me a carrot cupcake instead of pumpkin but were super apologetic and gave me the pumpkin one for free! Otherwise yummy and cheap for a late night treat! The double chocolate was the best flavor in my opinion“
