The chips and green salsa, which they serve at every table, is also a favorite for me, it is very different than any other salsa I've ever tasted. This is a small, family owned business, and the owners and personnel are very friendly. The price of the food is very fair, my fav burrito (Best vegetarian burrito in town) is $10.10 including tax. “MONDAY FOOD REVIEW...PUESTO...6/17/24! After leaving California's Great America, we stopped for lunch at Puesto, a Mexican/American restaurant, located at 2752 Augustine Dr., in Santa Clara. This restaurant features Mexican dishes with an American flare infusion! I had their their Shrimp a la Plancha, which is Mexican shrimp, garlic butter, red onions, jalapeños, guajillo chile, avocado, and Tamarindo-chile sauce, and it comes with herb lime rice, black beans, and blue corn tortillas. This was absolutely fabulous!!! It wasn't your typical Mexican dish...the different ingredients they used to create this dish all blended together VERY well!!! If you are looking for a little something different to satisfy your Mexican food craving, and want some added flair, then this is THE restaurant to go to!!! I HIGHLY recommend it!!!! My rating: 10++++“

“The best taco I’ve ever had. I came back twice during my two day trip because it was that good. I highly recommend the Al pastor and if you like spicy, ask for it with seranno pepper. Your life will change and you’ll know the true meaning of happiness from tacos.

I splurged this week and had a full dinner, enchiladas verde, rice, beans, and small salad ($20-ish), took 2 entire enchiladas home for lunch the next day :-). The food is excellent, the staff is lovely, and the atmosphere is delightful. Pay cash to get a discount (3%, IIRC).“

“This is a delicious spot to swing by and pick up a Cali Borito 😋. They put avocado and chipotle sauce on mine. I loved it. Salsa was good, and they have a nice shaded spot to sit down and enjoy the food. My borito and large glass bottle Coca-Cola was $19.“

The Google rating is 4.4, so we knew going in it was well rated and for good reason. The service is great. The prices are great. The food is so tasty. It was so good I forgot to even take pictures lol. I got the Chile rellenos plate and was delighted with just the amount of food first of all, and second...that rice! Loved the red rice🤤 My fiance got the carne asada super burrito and the chicken quesadilla. The burrito was HUGE and the quesadilla was super juicy (thanks to the chicken). Even with all of that food the bill only came out to $33! Will definitely be going back again.“

“Great customer service. Fresh Salsas, every day they told me. The place is great for lunch or dinner. I had a chicken burrito. It has sour cream and guacamole rice and beens. It was good! They tell me that the wet burrito is good. After they Wrap the burrito they add cheese on top after it's been wrapped and then they add a special sauce the one they use on enchiladas and then they put it to bake so the outside cheese melts. Sure sounds tasty I would say!“
