“Such a hidden spot...first off the bat freshly made hummus served with fresh pita bread warm and a side of Mediterranean salad. It's included with your order of whatever you decide. Thats rare, and the food incredible. A big size portion for very affordable price. This place really represents the name of its business and most importantly the customer service stands behind the name TRUE LOVE.“

“I've always come to Hummus Lab for their lunch special, and it has always been good. This time, I went with my friend and we tried the Ultimate Combo.

We sat inside the restaurant, which is relatively small and has only a few tables. We both enjoyed the filet mignon kabob and the salad. The red beet dill hummus was mostly enjoyed by me with the pita bread. The chicken mini shawarma nachos weren't really our thing and were pretty much untouched.

Although we enjoyed the combo, I would say the lunch special with the chicken kabob is a much better value. I probably wouldn't order this combo again.“

“I’ve been coming here for years for the beef plate beef kebab. The food is great. The salad is also top-notch as well as the nice air conditioning dining area for those hot days. If you want you could even sit outside in the patio either way it’s an all-around good experience and a good place to eat good healthy food“

“The food is AMAZING and the portions are very generous. My husband and I typically get the combo for two, and we usually have leftovers for lunch the next day. It’s a great value for the amount of food you get, and it’s all delicious. The kebabs, the hummus, and the rice are all perfectly seasoned every time. The beef kebab is my favourite, followed closely by the hummus.“

“My coworker and I was craving Mediterranean food and this spot was close.

I ordered their salmon plate, with a beef kubideh along with lentil soup and garlic fries. The salmon was delicious and the beef. The soup was good, a little tangy then I’m used to but the garlic fries might be the best garlic fries ever had in my life so far.

I’d definitely come back here again to try their other menu items.“

I’m so grateful for not only the tastey cuisine but for the proper facilities provided for patrons like myself who have IBS -Type M and live with alternating (sometimes instantaneous) bowel habits -I never know what my experience is going to be like dining-in and zankou chicken has allowed me to continue to dine in with my friends and dates without any worry that I won’t make it to the bathroom in time. This location’s restroom is in clear sight, accessible, has multiple stalls and they always keep extra toilet paper stocked incase it’s an IBS -Type D day (if you know what I mean!) Haha anyways, I just wanted to post this to spread awareness of IBS Type-M incase there is anyone out there afraid to enjoy their favorite Mediterranean restaurant with the ease knowing your pants will stay doo doo free (srry for not using scientific terms sometimes you just gotta make the most of it and laugh ;D )“

“Lots of vegan choices here with faux meats. I ate my falafel and fries. The fries were a light golden, crunchy outside fluffy inside, generous portion, but it costs extra. The falafel (about five in the wrap) was good, a little dry, but good chickpea flavor 5/5...but I wished the lettuce wasn't so "spring mix from a supermarket bag" and clubky chunky...I like to see more finesse...but the pita was the thick fluffy kind and the sandwich was well wrapped so you could hold it without too much falling out. I enjoyed the cute Sierra Madre ambiance inside...though I was kept waiting so long in the place i nearly left...about 12 minutes alone before someone emerged from the back, without as much of a welcome or greeting. Well, I was excited to be there at least. Anyway, no check ins from any server but I tipped the guy 15 percent anyway, and he did thank me for that. I ordered a beef and chicken combo with rice and the proteins were grrrreat 5/5. It survived the half-hour drive home. Suggestion: Ask to have the pita bread packaged outside the container. The pita was under the proteins...alas mushy soggy unrecognizable....not smart, sorry. So if you want pita that isn't mush, beg to have the pita on the side. One star less because of that decision to put bread on the bottom for a takeout order. My mom didn't get any pita 0/5 and that's a shame bec it was the fluffy kind.“

I have been there 3 times and everytime I say that I will be trying a new dish but their sahara fries (half cream chop and half chicken shawerma) always seem to be calling my name, the atmosphere gives a very casual semi fast food vibe but the food is quality. HIGHLY recommend this place.“

“The restaurant is located next door to the burnt down Bunny Museum. We arrived after walking from the Christmas Lane tree ceremony. I was surprised that the restaurant was empty for dinner but the owner was stating since the street was closed off nobody could get through in their cars. I ordered the Gyro sandwich and the lentil soup. The sandwich was big and it was more than enough food to fill me up. My other half stated the lentil soup was probably one of the best she has ever tasted. While we waited for our food the restaurant started getting packed with customers.“

“Phone in your order to speed up the wait. I usually get the garlic chicken panini. It's so so so very good. Keep in mind the limited hours. I wish they were open for dinner. It's also one of the few places you can still get a copy of the Pasadena Weekly.

Parking: If you don't see a spot to park in front, just park in the back. You enter the parking lot on the west side of the building. There's always an empty parking spot in back, but not as shaded.“
