“We ordered the Skewers Mixed Grill (Mshakkal) from Aladdin Jr Restaurant and Cafe in Covina through DoorDash and it was absolutely delicious. The portion size is incredible — it says it serves 2–3 people, but honestly it easily fed four of us with leftovers. Everything was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor.
The meats were tender, juicy, and well-seasoned, and the variety in the mixed grill makes it perfect for sharing. The rice and sides complemented the skewers really well and everything tasted fresh and authentic.
Another thing we really appreciated was the packaging. Our order arrived neatly packed and still warm, which makes such a difference when ordering delivery.
We’ve ordered from here multiple times and they’re consistently good, and the portions always leave us with leftovers for the next day (which taste just as great!).
The only thing we wish is that they offered their own delivery, because we would definitely order even more often. But even through DoorDash, it’s totally worth it.

“I ordered from Uber Eats, and oh my goodness! Food was fresh, still hot. The steak was tender, well marinated and so delicious. Hummus and pita bread…yummy! They even thought out every detail, making sure utensils and a little baggie with garlic sauce, hot peppers, hot sauce and sumac seasoning was included. Definitely 10 out of 10, thank you! I would have posted a photo, but my food didn’t stand a chance 😋“

“They used to be open later which really helped the college students but now closes like a typical restaurant which is unfortunate because I haven't got to go but I like this salad you can create whatever toppings and I get falafel and all the vegan sauce is obsessed with the baba ganoush and the green sauce. The owners are always really polite, the food is put together ridiculously fast, and the flavors are pretty familiar and flavorful as you would expect from Mediterranean food. I will say, that perhaps there's a little bit of shrinkflation because most restaurants, the portions just seem a little smaller. I think for this cafe, everything is pretty much the same with high quality hummus, tasty rice, fresh salad, but I think the meat portions are a little smaller than I remember a year ago. Also, this round, my lamb skewers were a bit overcooked and on the dry side. But, perhaps this is just an anomaly for this visit. I'm going to try again probably this month!“

Parking: If you don't see a spot to park in front, just park in the back. You enter the parking lot on the west side of the building. There's always an empty parking spot in back, but not as shaded.“
