“Subway is a Wonderful place to have a sandwich. I enjoyed coming to Subway because of a different breads that they have. I also like the different choices of vegetables and onions and avocado and cilantro and jalapenos that I can ask my sandwich also the different kind of lunch meats that can be out of it for a great. I just wish they would come back with the $5 sub. but if you look through your weekly special coupons that come in the mail you could always find some good deals.“

“Paulie’s is really good food. I drive by here for work all the time and have never been disappointed. Note: definitely not a budget eatery, but quality is good. Anissa (I hope I am spelling that right) took my order and truly impressed me with her efficiency. She handled everything from running the register to prepping food and organizing to go orders. Despite the busy crowd, she was friendly, thorough, and quick. The restaurant was clean and well organized and the employes worked seamlessly as a team. Great Food, great service.“

“Stopped by for an afternoon sandwich. This is a nice little shop with sandwiches and Vietnamese food.
The people behind the counter are really friendly and helpful. I ended up ordering a #7 pork sandwich. It was really good. What impressed me the most and stood out was the fresh vegetables in the sandwich. They were crisp and refreshing with every bite. I really enjoyed this sandwich!

“It's a divey local joint with a laser focus on sub sandwiches. Limited menu, all of it good. The guys taking orders and making sandwiches are genuinely happy and enjoy their work. Very friendly and personable.
I had pastrami, she had a sausage sandwich. She declared the sandwich average (marinara average, sausage ok but average). My pastrami was good for what it was but personally disappointing. They heat it in simmering broth, that washes out the salt and flavor and makes it rubbery. Best handling of pastrami IMO is to heat it on the flat top. That renders and softens some of the fat, concentrates the flavor and makes it a little crispy. Then put the cheese on top of that to melt before it goes on the bread, that's a good sandwich. Anyway...
The pepper steak is what a lot of people get, looking forward to trying it next time.“

“Defrankos was our first stop on our 12 day vacation from Canada. We got off the flyaway and walked down a few blocks with all of our luggage in tow. The staff were incredibly friendly, they gave us such a warm welcome to California… but beyond that the food was AMAZING. We are currently sitting at the airport going over our trip and all 3 of us agreed the very best food we had on this trip were our 3 subs from Defrankos. ❤️

“The description of Ike's to me made it sound like Fat Sal's and I was excited. Truth of the matter is Ike's holds its own, and it didn't disappoint. It has a great menu mixed with Meat and Veggie options. The Mrs. and I split and highly recommend the Captain Carl and the Meatless Mike (I concur "best vegan meatball in America", and Our 3 y/o gives the grilled cheese 👍👍. Our 9y/o swears it was the best grilled cheese she ever had.“

“First time here yesterday and happy to keep coming back, had the hot pastrami sub and it was seriously good loved the mayo mustard combo with chopped tomato onion and pickles combined and layered generously over the whole sub Also had the Tonys special sub .. lots of fresh and tasty deli meats mortadella hams salamis and again the in-house mustard mayo combo .. awesome sandwich For a side I had the bow tie pasta which was cooked al dente with plenty of the marinated artichoke hearts and a great authentic Italian feel and flavour As this had now developed into leftovers for dinner given the size of it all I took us home a tiramisu for dessert later, and as with everything else well worth the eating Opened in 1979 and still going strong .. it’s easy to see why“

“Mendocino Farms in Toluca Lake is hands down one of my favorite spots for a fresh, healthy meal. I’ve probably tried every salad on the menu, and they never disappoint. The ingredients are always crisp, flavorful, and satisfying. When I’m not in the mood for salad, the Peruvian steak sandwich is my go-to, absolutely delicious and packed with flavor.

The staff here are always friendly, welcoming, and quick to help, which makes every visit even more enjoyable. Parking is located in the back. While the lot isn’t huge, it’s manageable, and you get one hour free if you let the parking attendant know you’re dining at Mendocino Farms, just a small extra step for a great meal. “Giamela's is an old family owned chain with amazing pepper steak subs. I have been eating here since at least the early 80's, and unfortunately they've closed a few locations. Their subs are generously portioned and freshly prepared. Aside from their pepper steak, their meatball sub among others is classic. The atmosphere and decor is basic, but that isn't why you come here. Service is friendly.“

“I have been looking for quinoa all over LA. This place serves it and it is very good. The mix has just the right amount of dried sweet cranberries and a few chickpeas. It was perfect. I had a salad with tuna avocado and egg salad. I was able to sub the egg salad for tuna which was very nice of them. They gave me a fork full of a mayonnaise free tuna they had prepared on the way out which again was a great experience. “The fries are amazing!!!! One of the best I’ve ever had. The burgers are pretty good too, just a little behind In N Out burgers. You can order food inside on digital screens or you can order from an employee. A bit pricey but well worth it!“

“Daryl is a cheerful pick me up every time I stop by! He always has a huge smile, is exceptionally professional and so freaky fast! I’ve also heard him coaching and training others and I can tell he’s an amazing leader. I come by this location at least once a month and always have a great experience.

Parking: There’s street parking all around the intersection, just depends how much you need to walk. Service is usually quick enough that I can put in a quarter for 15 minutes at the meter and I leave well before it runs out.“

“These Vietnamese sandwiches are “The best sandwiches in town” as advertised on their packaging. French bread is freshly baked for that perfect toast that’s not too dry as I’ve had at other spots. The sandwich was over 12inches long and made to order. My go to Vietnamese sandwich is grilled pork with everything and they are generous with the meat. Sandwiches are so good that I end up never saving the other half. They offer clean seats and tables but nothing to boast about.“

As of right now they brought back the MEAL OF THE DAY which includes 2 cookies or chips with a small drink and if you want a footlong it’s just an additional 3$ which to me sounds like a perfect price and meal. “One of the last gems for a Quiznos. Clean restaurant for sure. They may have only one or two servers there but they take the time for each and every order, I witnessed it while waiting and then dining in. Everything always tastes so fresh. I’ve tried a bunch of sandwiches so but the chicken honey mustard and their limited time options are always fantastical. Bread is always fresh the jalapeño cheddar is great! They have deals of the day too and customizable toppings of course. They have front row parking too specifically for their restaurant. Common sandwich pricing. Apple Pay I know they take not sure of other methods. They can get busy, be patient they’re worth it. Glad this place still exists!!“

“Luis made the perfect giant sandwich for me and my sister! The Giant sub was about $19.00 and a normal (half the size), costs about $11.00. Luis and Josh both had wonderful customer service to all ages and types of customers that walked through the door. They were very patient, smiling, and kind. This location is a little small, but still has places to sit and eat. The sub tasted great!

“Fantastic Bánh mì - pork and pâté Just $4.75. The baguette was perfect. Crusty outside soft in the middle. The vegetables on the sandwich were so fresh and crunchy. Mayo is included on the sandwich, but there was so little I hardly noticed. This sandwich did not need anything else. I’m going back to try the rest of them. 9-10 varieties Bánh mì. 10 inch roll. I ate half in the Am and half at lunch. Again, just $4.75!“
