“We went for the first time today and boy was it delicious! I had the brisket bowl my husband had the 405 sandwich and we shared the brisket loaded fries, it was all delicious there was nothing left! Cudos to the person that is smoking the meats in Artesia location and the staff😊“

“We went here for the first time recently. The food was good and the person that took our order was very nice. I asked for extra sauce for the chicken katsu which they happily put in the bag that was sitting on the counter, but unfortunately that wasn’t the bag that our food was put in. When we got home, which is 15 minutes away, I opened it to find no sauce at all for the chicken katsu. That’s my favorite part of that meal 😭😭. It was super annoying but luckily we had taken some of their house sauce which is yummy, the food and people were nice, and the prices aren’t outrageous. We’ll try again in the future. I also wish they had mixed plates so we could get multiple meats. We ended up ordering 3 meals so my husband could have it for lunch the next day.“

“I know there are a lot of bad reviews for this place but my most recent visit was actually pretty good. We were seated immediately and we were constantly checked on by the staff to make sure we had everything we needed. The bulgogi which I don’t order all that much, was the standout here. We ordered five rounds of it and it was delicious! The beef belly and brisket was also quite good and they kept bringing us sides of kimchi and radish paper which was greatly appreciated. Honestly I have no complaints. The last time I came here was seven years ago and it was a horrible experience but I’m glad I gave them another chance.“

From the moment we sat down, Sam was friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful. He made sure everything was explained clearly, checked in on us at the perfect times, and kept everything running smoothly without ever feeling rushed. “We came here 2 days back to back and was definitely not disappointed the first day we just wanted to try the place out and ordered the pork belly sliders and a brisket Mac n cheese. Both were amazing but… the next morning we came to get brunch and ordered the chili verde breakfast burrito along with the tri tip breakfast bowl and I must say that had to be the best breakfast burrito I have ever had! Plus the sauce with the salsa they give you for that bowl was delicious!!! I’m just upset that the brunch is not year around“

My 9 and 11 year old were charged the adult price, but hey it's only $21 for menu A. They usually just eat brisket but they liked the beef belly and ribeye bulgogi this time around. The pork belly was also really yummy. There is free thrifty ice cream near the door that we almost missed. Really great value. Would come back for sure.“

Everything we ordered was delicious, highly recommend the loaded Mac n cheese w brisket, I’m no stranger to soul food and this mac rivaled my own… so creamy. Everything is seasoned to perfection. The bbq sandwich with brisket and pulled pork was so flavorful, it didn’t even need sauce. Don’t get me started on the soft, chewy buns…The staff, not sure if the owner, was soooooo genuinely kindhearted. He made our family time even more special, laughing with us and letting us try the wings and dirty rice (try themmm!!!! Soooo good). Over the top tasty bbq AND sides. 10/10 would recommend. “Today I went to rodeo 39 in Garden Grove with some friends and I stumbled across Kra Z Kai's. It was my second time trying Laos barbecue. This place is a hidden gem for sure. Everything was the delicious. The ribs were marinated for 24 hours. The barbecue pork and the chicken were all marinated in the same sauce. The owner told me the service was fast and this whole ambience was nice some of the best food I've had in a long time next time I'm going to Garden Grove. I will come here again.“

“Unfortunately, I can never try this place because I don’t live locally and I always try to call them to find out even if there’s any parking because when I go on Google Earth, it’s impossible to see the restaurant and not sure where to park also, I want to make sure that they’re open because sometimes businesses say they are and then they are closed for whatever reason I’m trying to call them day after day, but there are no phone numbers. It’s not a very smart business move because I feel like they are probably losing many business like people like myself. I wanna try it.“

“Good service and the skewers were great. The lamb mild spicy and the mala lamb were great. The black bean noodles were good and the cold noodles were ok. I wouldn’t order the ddukbokki (spicy rice cakes) again. The mechanism for automatically turning the skewers is great.“

“Came here for dinner time during Christmas week with my family. We were a group of 10 and we came right at peak dinner time, which honestly sounds like a terrible idea but thankfully they were able to sit us within 40 minutes. We were sat at two tables and had a burner each. The service was great, especially with how busy they were that night. The KBBQ was super yummy and I especially loved the steamed egg, I ordered two total. The house salad was so so good- I wish someone would tell me the recipe (pls) because I ate the whole bowl. The meat came out at a decent time and I enjoyed sides. They also offered buldak ramen, which my younger cousins enjoyed- so I’m sure other parents or family members may wonder what else kids may enjoy here. I will definitely be back!“

It’s a cosy hole in the wall place which you know that means it’s good. Staff are very friendly and attentive, explaining the menu and how this roll. I got the all you can eat with my boyfriend, it was so much food! I will absolutely come again and I will highly recommend this place to friends!“

“Came by with my son last minute they were almost sold out (says a lot about how amazing there food is) so we grabbed what they had left bbq beef ribs mac and cheese and smoked beans….you guys the food was beyond AMAZING i love bbq but this particular spot 10/10 my son is a picky eater i got him his own plate he devoured the ribs and mac and cheese. “This our first time here. We came at almost closing ( 840pm) but the employee was really nice to accomodate and still help us with the food. We ordered a combo 2 for $29 ( only online) n got it to go since they almost close. The food came out hot and portion is generous, they gave a lot of meat and sides r delish. For a bbq chain this is really good quality. Fries r crispy n well seasoned, mac cheese was good, bbq sauce was delishhh. The toast was soft but crunchy at the same time, very buttery. The meat is so juicy and tender and soft fall off the bone type. I couldnt finish my plate in 1 go n i was pretty hungry! Definitely will be back again :) 9/10“

“I was driving down Whittier Boulevard. On the corner of Whittier Blvd and Rancho drive. I smelled some barbecue it caught my attention quick like. Luckily I hadn't had dinner yet so I stopped and got a $20 plate. It was stacked with meat. It had tri-tip, chicken, and ribs. Smoked to perfection. The plate included a side of Mac and Beans. I also had two tacos. All the meats are full of flavor, tender and juicy. If you're in the area and you enjoy barbecue I highly recommend this spot.“
