“This spot wasn’t the easiest to get to with limited parking, but to be fair, it was a sunny Saturday so crowds were expected. The coffee and ice cream did not disappoint! We used to visit Kraken when they were in Pismo and were surprised to learn they’d moved, but luckily found them at their new location. Enjoyed a great view with my cup of coffee while wrapping up some work!“

“I got an unexpected day off and thought it would be perfect to start with coffee. When going to a new coffee shop, I always start with a latte. I think you can tell a lot about the shop and the coffee by the quality of a simple latte. This one was absolutely delicious. Coffee was rich but not bitter. Perfect amount of coffee to milk. I love that they roast their beans on the premises. And in fact I took home a bag of their medium roast to use as my day off coffee at home. The staff member who helped me was cheerful and pleasant. The setting was very comfy. I will absolutely be back.“

“I absolutely LOVE field day! I’ve been a customer for years now and I love bringing my golden retriever too. Every single barista is so kind and loves to make conversation. Trust me it’s the best matcha latte in all of San Luis Obispo!! I have been guilty of going twice a day lol. Get there early enough and snag an avocado toast but if not I love the homemade bagels! Truly will recommend this experience to anyone!“

Breakfast burritos are amazing, the iced coffee and cinnamon rolls are delicious and there is such a great little outdoor space. “Outstanding coffeehouse with some delicious unique creations. While they had regular espresso coffees, like everyone else, they also had many signature flavors that were really tasty. My favorite was Carmel Apple Butter Latte. Check it out when you’re in town.“

“I've been to Breezeway Cafe once, and the folks who run the place are sweethearts. My partner spilled his Americano, and they remade it for him, which they didn't have to do. Their portions are enormous. A side of bacon and biscuits with gravy will last you, or at least me, two meals. The Strawberry Dream was great, perfect amount of ice cream, strawberries, and breading. My only feedback is both the gravy and breading could use a little more salt, but I'm sure I could ask for that next time. I wish they weren't 300 miles away from where I live“

“My go-to coffee & matcha spot in SLO. Tiny Cafe provides a great variety of drink options to choose from their seasonal menu. I like how different their coffee and matcha drinks are from other vendors, and how are sustainable they are as a business (they provide discounts if you bring your own cup, and bag for coffee beans).
Tiny Cafe can booked for events too. I’ve booked them for a company event once, and everyone sung praises on how good the drinks and pastries were. If you’re looking for a local coffee spot to support, Tiny Cafe is the place to go!“

“Centrally located in the quaint historic downtown, on a side street with little traffic. Handicap parking spot right in front of the shop. A few tables and chairs to sit outside and enjoy your coffee in the sun. Large, bright interior with bright sunlight shining through the window. Plenty of seatings with high top and regular chairs. While busy when visiting there was basically no wait. Served quickly by a young, friendly and attentive associate. Good selection of hot and cold beverages and nice pastries. Counter area and tables were kept very clean. Great quality and reasonable pricing. Excellent find, will be our must stop when coming to or passing through SLO!“

“OMG best donuts ever. I have had cake donuts but never tried a Buttermilk donut before and it was amazing. Also you don't need powder sugar or glaze its very sweet and tasty on its own. Also they have seasonal specialty donuts - I tried their seasonal donut holes which were apple-cider flavored and they were also good but even better was their London Fog (with Lavender Syrup) and service. The 2 young ladies that were working today were extremely sweethearts & understood my little complicated order! Lol they were extremely nice and the customer service was beyond exceptional. I love the set up of the coffee shop, I also bought some really cool stickers that the manger makes! I highly recommend this place! “A nearby Starbucks was closed so I came here instead. Unfortunately this place was PACKED, lots of people waiting for their orders, only 3 people behind the counter, seemed like one was in training. Jon immediately welcome every customer in anyway, he asked how your day was going while packing other order and seemed to be a master of doing 10 things at once while keeping the focus on the customer. 10/10 made my day better and made my experience pleasant in what could have easily been irritating and frustrating.“

“Sweet Pea has a lovely atmosphere. It's great to stop in for a treat. Everything that I have tried is scrumptious. My current favorite is the everything bun, which is savory and salty. My kids love the cupcakes and croissants.“

“Ian helped us with our order and was very knowledgeable, he suggested I try cinnamon in my drink when I told him to surprise me. It was really good! He was friendly and just made the whole thing much more pleasant. I wanted to toot his horn cuz you don't run into very good customer service these days but this guy is out here making the world a better place, one transaction at a time!“
