“As soon as we came inside the restaurant, I was greeted with a friendly smile. We were seated right away and server took our order. My son was not ready, so I asked to place my order. I had the La Cosecha Breakfast, I was so hungry but no way I was able to eat all the food. The chilaquiles were amazing, not too spicy and not blend at all. The potatoes were delicious, the egg was perfect, the beans delicious as well, and the meat, i asked for it to me a little less cooked then medium and wow, it was delicious, melted in my mouth. My son ordered the Quesabirrias and also, very taste, very juicy and delicious. He didnt like the pickled onions so he took them off. I mean, beside anything, everything was delicious and the service was prompt and food came out fast. Server could have come asked us one how everything was tasting but she didn't, so thats why I rated 4 stars for the service. I am definitely coming back 😁😁“

We had such a positive experience that we decided to make this our go-to restaurant whenever we are in the area. I actually decided to write this review because of the kind service--after I left. I was convinced that I had left my cell phone at the restaurant (my phone had died and my apple watch indicated that the phone was there), and the staff person who answered the phone kindly looked for it and then patiently explained that if the phone had died, my apple watch may be indicating its last known location, but not its present location. She was right, and I soon found my phone--with a completely dead battery. Nevertheless, I appreciated her taking the time to reassure me--despite how busy I know that staff can be at that restaurant. We had planned to return for the wonderful food, but now we will definitely be returning for the delicious food, charming atmosphere, and more-than-helpful service!“

“Hungry Bird is new in town, and I’m lucky enough to live just a few blocks away. This was my first visit, and I loved it! Everything looked and tasted delicious. They have chicken, beef, seafood, and pork skewers, plus noodles and sushi rolls. I came for the skewers, and I’d definitely come back to try more.

I’m not only if she friendly and acknowledges any and every person who walks in she’s not like other bartenders I’ve seen other establishments who are on their phone more than they are working. “Love how you can buy food from Whole Foods salad bar and come in and enjoy it at Shuffle Bar. It's connected to Whole Foods, so it makes sense. It's never crowded, and there's a decent size t.v where you can watch sports games and get a cold adult beverage.
You can order food from the Shuffle Bar menu as well. It might be a better option, especially for hot items. It will be served warm and fresh.“

“It had been nearly 15 years since my last visit. I must say the decor is exactly as I remembered. Took 3 minutes to be seated then we were greeted by the most friendly and attentive waiter I’ve EVER had at any restaurant . I’m a huge lover of the cabbage salad so I gorged on a big bowl before dinner. I ordered a medium rare fillet and potato and it was cooked to perfection. I so wish I lived nearby as I would pay it a regular visit. I’m so glad the Clearmans Northwoods inn has not been changed.“

“We tried this little bar while we were visiting friends in the Uptown Whittier area. It's an eclectic little cocktail lounge with speakeasy vibes. We loved the decor and the ambience was great with dimmed soft red lights that made the place very relaxing. They had happy hour going on and we tried the queso con chorizo dip. It came really hot so it was watery and when we tried it, it was oily and mushy. However, once it cooled, the dish was solidified and the flavors really merged and popped- the oaxaca cheese, poblano peppers, and chorizo really blended together into a delicious dish. I highly recommend you try it! They have specialty drinks but carry a full bar and can make many other drinks. I really enjoyed their specialty drinks although they were very small. We spent about an hour there, then headed to dinner with friends. The staff was great and attentive. They were very nice and really explained their menu. It was a cute little place that were definitely visiting again when we're in town.“

“We stopped by Barrio’s Pizza around 11:15 AM for lunch, and it was already pretty busy! Ryan helped us out, and the cashier was super friendly and welcoming.

One thing I really liked was that when you walk up to the counter to order, you can actually see the pizzas being made. Everything looked delicious before we even ordered. You can definitely tell they put a lot of effort into their pizza craft. We ordered a small pepperoni pizza, mojos, and some hot wings.

The pepperoni pizza was DELICIOUS! I especially loved how perfectly toasted the bottom of the crust was. Every time we took a bite, you could hear that crunch, which I absolutely loved. The crust had such a nice texture, and the pizza was definitely the highlight of our meal.

For the mojos and hot wings, I’d give them a 7/10. The mojos were good, but I felt like they could’ve used a little more seasoning/flavor. The wings were also good, but I would’ve loved them a little spicier and cooked just a bit more. Overall, I’d give the food an 8/10. Everything was good, and I’d definitely come back for that pizza!

The restaurant itself was also super clean, which is always a huge plus. They even have an arcade area where you can play games and win stuffed animals, cards, and other prizes. Super cool, especially if you’re coming with kids or just want to have some fun while you’re there.

You can also tell this place probably gets really lively during sports games. Between the pizza, arcade games, and atmosphere, it seems like a fun spot to grab some food and hang out. Overall, we had a good experience at Barrio’s Pizza, and that crispy pepperoni pizza alone is worth coming back for.“
