“While I was home, I was able to visit Ducey's on the lake with Family and it is a must! If you are in the area for Yosemite or even a day trip you have too visit this place! Delicious food and options to of two restaurants with a beautiful view of Bass Lake! With Live bands during the summer and people from all over this is definitely a must Try!!“

“Jones Store is a step back in time. This is a very cool rustic area up in the mountains. We made a special drive there for lunch and we were not disappointed. The burgers were delicious. The bread made the sandwich. I don't know for sure how they make it but it was some of the best bread on a burger I've ever had. I will say it probably wasn't the most healthy, but once in awhile we deserve a treat. A bag of chips came with a burger and they were your standard potato chips. You pick your soda or beer out of the old time propane refrigerators. I said that right. You don't see propane refrigerators everyday. We chose to eat outside and the views were awesome. It didn't take very long at all for our meals to be delivered to our table. After we got done with the burgers we decided to try the pie and that was pretty funny. I asked what type of pies they had and they said two types pie and no pie. They couldn't tell us what type of pie it was but they said it was good pie. We decided to try one and it came in a bowl. It had ice cream on top of it and whipped topping. The pie was good, although we didn't know for sure what type it was. It was either apple or possibly pear but the texture we couldn't really figure out. I guess only they know for sure. Overall, it was a great experience and a pleasant time with friends. We went on August 14th wearing t-shirts and shorts. In the shade. It was a little bit too cool and in the sun a little bright and warm. At a high altitude it can sometimes be cooler than what you would expect. Be prepared. Also, for all of you who are stuck on your telephones you will not have cell reception. Enjoy the moment! The electronic world can wait.“

“We had an incredible experience at Embers. Food was delicious, atmosphere was charming, and our server Morgan was phenomenal. Due to some traffic getting to the resort we had to bump our reservation to the later seating and wow was that a lucky decision as we had the whole restaurant to ourselves! They could have very easily said we had to come at our original time but they were so accommodating and it was incredible. The only 5 star dining experience in the area and well worth the price!“

“I highly recommend Idle Hour winery and kitchen in Oakhurst. I found out about the winery when looking for a place to eat in the area on the Internet and I’m so glad I did. It was one of my more memorable meals. I had one of their wines, which was outstanding with a salmon dinner accompanied by a very large salad. I usually don’t have dessert, but, being gluten-free, I decided to try their flourless chocolate cake. I’ve never had one I’ve particularly liked, but I doubt that I will be able to resist that dessert the next time I go for dinner, although I will have to try their Sunday brunch next.“

“Had breakfast at Bee’s Bakery and everything was 🔥. I got the breakfast sandwich on their house-made jalapeño cheddar bread—super soft, toasty, and packed with scrambled eggs, ham, and a killer herb cream cheese spread that brought it all together. We also shared the waffle topped with fresh fruit and a huge scoop of whipped cream, which was just as good as it looks. The breakfast burrito was solid too—great portion and full of flavor. This place has that small-town feel with food that hits like a hidden gem. No hype, just really well-done breakfast.“

“The food was delicious! I had the filet mignon beef Wellington and my husband had the crusted salmon. Both dishes came with sides and desserts included and it looked amazing and was absolutely delicious. The price per plate, only $55., that’s a bargain these days. The atmosphere of old times mountain house was cozy and comfortable. We were seated in front of the fire place. We’ll definitely be eating there again soon.“

“We’ve eaten here twice, and the food is quite authentic Chinese cuisine. The Spicy Boiled Fish and Beef Brisket Tofu Pot were both great, and the baby bok choy was very fresh. The only downside was that the beef brisket pot had a bit too much filler underneath. At other restaurants, I’ve had pots with much more beef, but here it was only a thin layer on top“

“on a 10000 mile cross country trip and 1st time in Yosemite, staying at the Sierra Sky Ranch. they recommended SGB for lunch, and it did not disappoint. our hardest task was deciding what to choose as there were so many delicious items to choose from we decided on two different burgers and shared. both were delicious and cooked perfectly. the staff, energy, vibe and music were all fantastic. I would highly recommend SGB to all for a great meal and beer.“
